About: I have cared for animals of all kinds—cats, dogs, and birds—since I was a kid. My experience includes caring for my own dogs, from newborn puppies to senior dogs with special needs like managing diabetes. I also volunteer at Jeffersonville Animal Shelter, where I walk puppies and help get them some fresh air and exercise. Additionally, I’ve had the opportunity to care for coworkers’ dogs, which has made me comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds—no dog is too small, big, young, or old for me. My own fur baby sadly passed away this past April due to cancer, and because of that, I’m passionate about spreading love and care to as many animals as possible. This work means as much to me as it does to those I’m helping! I work Wednesday through Saturday from 8 AM to 6:30 PM, so I’m happily available to care for your pets full days on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. I’m also available to stay overnight during the week to keep your furry friends company and make sure they feel safe and loved. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, or just being there for snuggles, I treat every pet like my own and make their happiness my priority. :) When providing in-home boarding, my goal is to ensure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for in their own familiar environment. I follow your pet’s daily routine as closely as possible—from feeding and medication to walk times and bedtime rituals! I treat your home with the utmost respect and care, keeping it clean, secure, and just as you left it. I maintain open communication throughout the stay, providing regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: After going through dog training with 4 dogs (and 2 additional in service dog training) as well as volunteering at a cat shelter for 3 years in college, I feel prepared to encounter many pet situations! From administering medication to meeting basic needs and providing lots of love for all ages of animals, I've done it all! First thing in the morning, I walk my velcro dog, Shadow, a loyal lab/border collie/beagle mix for about a mile. When I get home from work, Shadow and his momma, my Sunny Girl, and I eat dinner together before curling up to watch their favorite show, Law & Order: SVU until we fall asleep. Occasionally we snack on cheesesticks or whipped cream together, too! In a client's home, I value following detailed directions to ensure the pet's routine is as close to normal as possible. Their safety is my priority, and I know they may be a bit dysregulated with me taking care of them instead of their normal human! I focus on creating a bond with them through whatever their motivation may be - snacks, positive reinforcement, petting, etc - and will only go for a walk with a secure leash. In the backyard, I'll verify that the gate is secure before heading out! I'm there to do a job, and it's one I take seriously: giving them the best wags-and-purs experience I can until they see their humans again!

“Ryan is fully capable of caring for animals. I have known Ryan for over 40 years. In that 40 years, Ryan has had several dogs. All of which have grown old and lived good lives. All of his dogs are affectionate and love people. And I believe that is because of the way Ryan treated them. In addition to that, Ryan is a leader in the community. He is a teacher and coach. And is extremely patient when working with kids. That carries over into when he cares for a pet. Extremely patient and follows a routine. I would trust Ryan to take care of my dog.”

“Michaela has provided care for our pets on multiple occasions. We have 3 dogs, 2 very large. One of my dogs requires medication when it storms or there are fireworks in the area. Without this medication he has hurt himself due to anxiety. It was nice to have someone as knowledgeable as Michaela take care of him. I know my pets are safe and I trust that Michaela knows how to handle most situations regarding pets.”

“Dependable. Friendly. And genuinely cares about the animals. Have used her multiple times to watch my 2 older dogs because they do not do well in a kennel and it’s nice to have someone who will reliably come check on them when I am away. She will send updates when she checks in and lets me know my animals are safe and well cared for. Highly recommended.”

“I wholeheartedly recommend Gianna P. as a caregiver. She has provided safe, loving, and reliable care for my large dog during long workdays and frequent travel. Gianna is attentive, responsible, and incredibly warm—qualities that gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. She consistently went above and beyond, ensuring my dog felt comfortable, exercised, and cared for. Her thoughtful communication and natural ability to connect make her a standout not just as a pet caregiver, but as a person. I can’t recommend her highly enough.”

“Sheila cared for my dogs when I was out of town at a dog show, and even sent me photos of them while she was at my house. The dogs all love Sheila and she obviously loved them back! I was very pleased with how she took extra good care of them, spent lots of time with them on her trips to my house - more than I expected! I am more than happy to tell people about how great Sheila was with my dogs, and I definitely plan to have her come again on my next dog-show trip. She's the best :)”
