About: I’ve had experience caring for a variety of breeds, including Huskies, Labs, French Bulldogs, Beagles, Yorkies, Chihuahuas, and Pit Bulls. I understand that every dog is different, so I make an effort to learn their individual routines, personalities, comfort levels, and needs. I currently work full-time from home during the weekdays. House visits, walks can be done any time after 5pm. Availability for boarding or day watching during the week may vary - please reach out for a discussion! Weekends are when I have the most flexibility for boarding and can dedicate more of my time to caring for your pet. When caring for pets in my home, my priority is making sure all feel stress-free. I do have an older cat who is nervous around other animals so pets will have their own separate areas. It is preferred for me to board pets who are fully house-trained and comfortable with crate training, as this helps me maintain a safe and predictable environment. About: I've been caring for dogs since I was little, starting with Champ, the family golden retriever. As I got older, I adopted my own dog during my time in law school, Sasha (see profile photo), who is a Shepherd-Pyrenees mix. After Sasha, along came Sadie the Great Pyrenees. Needless to say, I have a lot of hands-on experience with larger breeds and know how to handle them on walks. I've also cared for the dogs of many people in my life - my wife's Golden Doodle, my best friend's Golden Doodle, and even my old boss's Beagle (just to name a few). Additionally, I spent a semester in college volunteering at an animal shelter where I was tasked with walking the largest dogs they had. Friends and family call me the "dog-whisperer" because I always find a way to make friends with every dog I come across. I work full-time but get to work from home three (3) days per week - always on Friday and most Mondays, with the third day varying by week. I'm also free on the weekends! About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cat my whole life. I am a college student and work full time during the week, but I am available every weekend to pet sit! Pet care fits into my weekend routine. I am off every weekend and I am looking for a job on the side of my full time job to help pay for college I have a cat of my own, and she has plenty of toys and litter boxes, she has cat towers and wall climbing steps! We have a bay window for cats. And I have a small dog who is now on the road with my mom traveling! So we have dog toys and dog beds for the doggos! Kaia is timid at first with new people and new dogs, so I really appreciated being able to do that beforehand. She ended up warming up to Jessica and her dogs really quickly. When I dropped Kaia off for her overnight stay, Jessica treated her like she was her own dog. She followed Kaia's typical daily schedule, took her on walks, let her play with her dogs, and took such great care of her the entire time. This was Kaia's first night away from home, so it was really important to me that she was comfortable, and she absolutely was! Jessica sent photos and updates in the morning and evening, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was nice seeing Kaia doing so well, playing with Jessica's dogs, and looking so happy. When I picked Kaia up, I could tell she had a great time. Jessica really cares for the dogs she watches and treats them as if they were her own. I'll definitely be using Jessica again the next time I need someone to care for Kaia, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will love and care for their dog as if they were their own.
