From bottle-feeding kittens as a child to managing the quirks of senior pups, I’ve been lucky enough to spend most of my life surrounded by furry, feathered, and even scaly friends. At 35, I’ve turned my love for animals into a side-job, and nothing brings me more joy than making sure your pets feel loved, safe, and cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s taking your dog on an adventure walk, keeping your cat entertained with their favorite toys, or making sure your exotic pets are thriving, I tailor my care to fit every animal’s unique needs and personality. When I’m not pet-sitting, you can usually find me hitting up the beach, exploring hiking trails, making sourdough bread, reading a good book, and I find myself ecstatic when any of those involve pets. Let’s create a worry-free experience for you and a fun, loving time for them. My son has allergies, so we can’t have our own pets. This allows more freedom and flexibility for your pet. You need me, I’m there. I’m a SAHM, homeschooling mom, so I have a very flexible schedule. Your pet will be my priority during my time with them. If you allow, my well-behaved children would also love to help with responsibilities. If we need to house-sit, or stay with your pet for an extended period of time, we can easily structure our day around your pet and/or home. I am able to come to your home, walk your pet, stay with them, whether for extended periods or for short checkins - whatever is best for you and your pet.

About: Hi, I’m Mikaela! I’m 26 years old. I have recently become a US Navy Veteran and a full time college student. I have always grown up with at least 4 animals in the house at once, so if you are worried if I can handle more than one animal at a time or not, think again! I am comfortable with all dogs, every shape and size- cats too! I am not timid around new pups and they tend to sense that and become very comfortable with me very quickly. Please don’t hesitate to request me, I’d love to help care for your pets! I am a full time college student with most of my classes being online. I currently live in a house with my husband. I have a fenced yard with plenty of play space for dogs. I am also very active and live in a neighborhood with sidewalks that we use to walk our dogs. I have a fenced yard with lots of space to run and play! I have two adult spayed female dogs that love meeting new friends. I also have the space to keep them separate if need be.

About: I have five cats and a dog of my own. I love exploring new trails and finding new places to walk. I also have experience administering medication to pets. I grew up with a dog that needed lots of medicine. I have plenty of experience with injections, pills, and liquids. I will treat your baby like my own. I truly miss the animals I watch when I inevitably have to leave. I hope you will trust me with your baby soon! I am able to move my schedule with notice. I typically have school Tuesdays in person every other week. Just let me know in advance and I can make it work! I am very careful with making sure harnesses are on and safe. I make sure the water and food bowl are full and nothing is out that is dangerous.

About: My family had a pair of corgis when I was a kid, I didn’t realize how much I missed them until I started petsitting for families with dogs in 2012. I’m currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to care for and play with your fur babies. I’m available fully Wednesday thru Saturday and sometimes I can extend care for them until Sunday or Monday. I will follow and double check all the instructions and I will contact you immediately with any questions or concerns I have regarding your fur babies.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs sense I was 10, I’ve gone to numerous dog training camps, I’ve worked at two vets and have taken care and own dogs and cats myself. I work part time and in school part time but I have a lot of flexibility with my day and always take priority over animals as I’m going to school to be a vet. I have a fenced in yard, and love going on walks with dogs, and making sure they have enough water afterwards, i love having a schedule when it comes to house sitting and making sure everything is accurate.

About: i’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes since i was 12 years old. I love to take walks and i’m very time efficient and like to stick to schedules for things so i can assure you that your pups will get tons of love and will being taken care of while you are away. My only exception is i don’t do reptiles i’m currently working a part time job and i am willing to work around my schedules to accommodate to your fur babies needs, I am a natural early riser and will adapt to any routines needed. I love to treat all animals with love and reward while still giving them their own space and the ill adjust to your pets personality and needs.

About: I have owned dogs all my life. Currently I have 2 dogs-15 yr old yorkie, 7yr old American Bully, 2 German Shepherds. I volunteered at the Animal shelter walking dogs and cleaning their cages. Ive been volunteered at the animal shelter for about 4 years. Ive walked dogs from 5 to 100+ lbs. I am pretty good at reading dogs and can usually tell if something is off with them. I have lots of time to take care of dogs of all ages. Im great at exercising dogs, able to go on long walks and drop by to check in on them. I'm usually always avaliable to take of your pet. I generally do every 2-4 hours potty breaks for the pups and time to run around the yard and get exercise. I have a fenced yard, 2 friendly dogs, I generally keep everyone separated unless I'm absolutely sure they are okay with each other, even then I stay outside with the dogs. I throughly clean the house between each dog.

About: I have taken care of dogs basically my whole life! I love them and would love to walk,feed,board,bathe,care for your dog! I love dogs of all sizes!!!! I want to make this a full time thing! So any days work great! Short or longer term! I’m up for any challenges! Breed isn’t an issue I play with them and give them treats and Toys! Make sure they get lots of time outside in the sun and would be totally good with even bathing them!

About: I've taken care of my friends and families pets for 10 years and have been completely reliable and trustworthy. I'm just one big animal lover. I work 35 to 40 hours a week with my work days and off days being different every week. I'm very flexible with my schedule and will make anything work Don't really have a fenced yard but i can easily take your dog to a dog park or take them for walks nearby to give your fur baby the exercise it needs.

About: Ever since I was a little girl I’ve always been in love with animals. I never saw them as just pets, I saw them as family. My first experience with animals started at the age of four when I wanted to ride horses. This activity grew my love for animals and eventually directed me to volunteering at freedom ride. Freedom ride allows disabled children to ride horses as a therapeutic exercise in order to build their confidence and sustainability. Once I was able to work, I was offered a position as a kennel technician at paws & play resort for dogs. This job allowed to me work with different types of dogs while tending to their needs. Whether it was walking them, bathing them, feeding them, playing with them, and even cleaning up after them. I always maintained a smile on my face. I am currently a veterinary assistant at petco & a college student who is able to give my full attention to any pet that is apart of my care in my home. While I don’t have a backyard, I allow my cats Acorn and Twix to roam around the apartment and on the balcony. Bathing animals is never a problem for me so don’t be afraid to ask.

About: I absolutely love animals! I have taken care of dogs for multiple years now, and cats my entire life. I currently have a one year old mixed dog, and two cats. All of my current animals I adopted when they were only a couple months old. I love taking dogs on walks and playing around with them at the dog park. I have worked with dog, cats, rabbits, and fish. I once even watched 9 dogs all at once, who all slept in the bed with me. I am currently between jobs, so my availability is completely open and my schedule is very flexible! I’m excited to start working with animals more full time again! A big step in safety and trust for both parties is a meet and greet! The meet and greet gives us a chance to go over all the details, meet face to face, and gives me and your baby a chance to familiarize with each other. Learning your pets boundaries and preferences is extremely important. Knowing the best ways to interact with them in their environment is the best way to build trust and ease their stress while you are gone.

About: I have had several pets growing up. Pumpkin was my 15 year lab mix. I had her from six weeks old. Her senior years were rewarding. As needed, for your pet care needs. This could include short visits for your errands or extended stay for vacation time. This could be modified. This depends on your dog's needs. This could be my home or yours. If pet is house trained this would be ideal for the pet care.

About: I have always been around animals. My dad owned horses, goats, chickens, cows, and we always had dogs. The different dogs were always my favorite! I am completely open and available.
