About: I've been taking care of dogs nearly my whole life. I grew up with a HUGE Rottweiler named Thor who weighed 120 lbs! I know, what a genetic freak of a puppy! When it comes to my personal experience taking care of pets it started roughly 8 years ago when I was trusted to watch my families' pets, neighbors, close friends, and people who just needed a sitter. As of 3 years ago, I finally became a cat dad. I now have 3 little rascals, all rescues, and love them to death. Always had a sweet spot for kitties for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately my mom and sister are allergic so took a while until I could have some cats in my life. My overall experience is in dog walking, pet-sitting, and of course playing with pets and staying the nights with them so they wouldn't feel lonely. If it is specifically cats, I always do the full shebang with feeding, playing ,and cleaning the litter upfront. I'm not just here to simply go through the motions, I know what some pet owners are looking for and things that they are worried about when needing a sitter. I do my best to keep clear communication, take TONS of photos and give plenty of updates so you can relax. The goal is to ensure your precious family members are kept safe and happy. I have a full-time career that spans from Wednesday-Saturday overnight. ALL of my services have 2 variants to availabilities. If you need me during my workdays, I am ONLY available from a time range of 5:30AM-10:30AM OR 2PM-4PM, this is on a case by case. On my days off which would be Sunday-Tuesday, I am available from 6AM-12PM & 6PM-4AM. Of course please message ahead if you need me during any other time on my days off and I can see what I can do. Unfortunately, I do not care for pets in my own home, I do however do House Sitting and Drop-In Visits. I understand a lot of what goes into what people are looking for when wanting their pets watched at home. I provide my own garbage bags, can offer cleaning services if necessary or wanted, and do my best to give updates on both your pets and your home if requested. When looking after your pets, I make sure to follow all procedures and rules listed. I wish to make sure your pet(s) feels comforted and calm so that they do not feel stressed, lonely, or unsafe. I ALWAYS know the greatest fear is making sure they are fed and have water so rest assured I will always make sure that is a priority along with playing with them and cleaning up after. I wish to make the process feel as calm and serene as possible for all parties included.

About: My aunt would bring her dog over when she would go on vacation and I'd take care of her. I would watch my grandma's dog for her on vacation. My partner has a dog thats now ours and I'm trusted with them. I just love animals. I'm off every single Tuesday so I'll be free from 8:00 until 3:00 pm and then 5:00-10:00 pm to come play with your babies. I'm usually off on Wednesday as well but sometimes it's a Monday, depends on my work schedule for the week. But I'll have it 3 weeks in advance to fit your babies into my routine to make sure they're well taken care of. I'll make sure your baby is fed, watered, walked and played with. I can crate them if needed. If they're good with other animals, I'd be more than willing to take them and my little one on a walk in a park together, I love taking mine to wildwood.

About: I am 23 years old and currently am a stay home mom (9 month old son) and have a part time job (1-2 days a week) at a dog kennel as a receptionist/kennel attendant/groomer. I also have 3 pets. My pets include Bentley (12 year old Yorkshire Terrier), Hadley (2 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) and Jaxon (goldfish). I enjoy spending time with not only my pets but also the ones I pet sit. I love meeting new animals and learning about their personalities. Pet sitting jobs by me can include; going for walks, playing games such as fetch or tug of war, relaxing and getting belly rubs, and updates and or pictures to the owner (if wanted). To me animals are not just pets they are part of the family as well. I’m currently a stay at home mom to the sweetest 9 month old boy (Charlie). So my schedule is very flexible for taking care of your furry family members :) My 9 month old son would be with me for visits/walks. He has been around dogs of many sizes since birth. I have my own 2 small dogs and my mom has a large lab and an elder small dog as well. So, he is very gentle with all pets he meets.

About: I’ve had pets for as long as I can remember, and caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve developed an understanding of their needs, behaviors, and routines. I also have experience babysitting dogs, providing daily walks, playtime, feeding, and providing a comforting presence. From high energy dogs or independent cats, I approach each pet with patience, attentiveness, and genuine care. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for in your absence ❤️ My schedule is currently flexible, so I’m happy to work with your preferred times. Just let me know what you’re looking for, and I’ll do my best to make it work! I live in a pet friendly apartment very close to the susquehanna, so I make sure pets get plenty of walks around city island, bathroom breaks, and playtime both indoors and outdoors to keep them happy and comfortable. When caring for pets in your home, I will follow your routines closely to help them feel safe.

About: I have had 8 years of experience dog sitting, hosting, walking and staying at others homes for dog sitting. I love dogs and as I think cats are cute, I am allergic and unfortunately cannot watch them. I love dogs of all sizes and ages! I love boys or girls! I enjoy going on car rides and checking out new areas for the pups to take a walk. I have had dogs my whole life. I currently have a pittie/lab mix and his name is Bentley. He loves to cuddle, play with other dogs, and is sweet as can be! I currently work full time hybrid. I work from home tuesdays and Friday’s and off on weekends. These are the best days for me to have a dog with me since I’m home. I work a 8-4 job. I care for them by spending time, making sure they are fed, walked, and loved on. I have my dog who enjoys chilling or playing with the dogs depending on what the other dog prefers. Pet care fits with my routine as I am hybrid for work and only live 10 mins away from my job. It is easy for me to run home over lunch to check on the dog I’m watching or if close by take out. I make time to spend with the dog I am watching and that they feel comfortable in my home. While dogs are in my home, I treat them like my own. They are able to sleep with me, be on furniture, etc. I take them for walks to get exercise. With parent permission I make ice cream treats (blueberries & Greek yogurt frozen together) and give them to the dog. I make sure they feel comfortable, are fed and have plenty of water. If a parent would like me to administer meds or give a bath, I am happy to do so!

I don’t do this for the money, I do this for the love of animals and the peace of mind I will give you being an overbearing dog mother myself lol I work from home so I will be sitting and snuggling with your “kid” the whole time. I am available for boarding 7 days a week , at my place or yours. I have a partially fenced in yard and 1 lazy English bulldog, she will play with your dog for about 5 minutes before she tires and sleeps for the day 3 business days lol I am at your animals will , and every bark and paw.

Your dog will be treated as if they were my own. We like to start and end every day with potty breaks along with atleast two walks per day. We allow your children to sit and sleep wherever they like. I am currently working full-time (about 15 minutes away from home), but my boyfriend (also a Rover sitter) works from home and can do daily potty breaks if needed.

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was in the 5th grade, and caring for them has always been a big part of my life. I currently have two of my own, a playful Frenchie puppy and a sweet 5-year-old Pit Bull/Bulldog mix, so I’m very familiar with different energy levels, temperaments, and stages of life. I’ve cared for everything from puppies who need structure and patience, to senior dogs who require a gentle touch and a slower pace. I’m calm, attentive, and treat every dog like family. You can count on me to follow routines, read behavior cues, and send updates so you feel at ease while you’re away. Pet care is part of my everyday life, it’s second nature to me. With three dogs of my own, my day naturally revolves around walks, feedings, playtime, training, and lots of love and attention. I’m already in the routine of caring for dogs with different needs and energy levels, so adding another pup into that rhythm feels seamless. Whether it’s a quick drop-in, a walk, or overnight care, I plan my schedule to make sure each dog gets the time and attention they deserve. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or my client’s, I always prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. In my home, pets have a cozy, dog-friendly space with plenty of room to relax, play, and feel at home. I slowly introduce them to my own dogs to make sure everyone gets along in a calm, supervised way. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to their regular routine, whether that’s feeding times, walks, medication, or bedtime rituals. I make sure their space stays clean, calm, and familiar, and I always send updates and photos to keep you in the loop. I’m respectful of your home and treat every dog with the same love and attention I give my own.

About: With years of hands-on experience, I’ve been passionate about pets from a young age. Growing up with two dogs and two cats in the family, I learned the importance of love and responsibility in animal care. My first "job" was dogsitting for friends and family, and later, I spent 9 months at a reputable pet boarding and training facility, leading private activities and swims with dogs. Whether it’s a dog, cat, or any other animal, I genuinely adore them all and treat each one like family! As a full-time college student, I prioritize balancing my studies with my love for animals. Whether it's volunteering at the local animal shelter, dog sitting on weekends, or spending downtime with any pets I know, caring for pets fits seamlessly into my routine. It’s a rewarding way to unwind while staying connected to what I love most—animals! I have stayed in clients homes over night to care for their dogs and I have only heard great feedback. I love sending cute pictures of pets to their parents as well as having a furry friend to cuddle up with during overnights!

About: I’ve been surrounded by fur babies since I was a baby! At 10 years old, after endless begging, my parents finally said, ‘If you can take care of one, you can get one!’ That’s when I met my lifelong best friend. Through the years, I’ve learned how to care for her in every situation—whether she’s feeling under the weather or bursting with joy. This experience has made me a devoted and skilled pet caregiver, ready to provide the best care for your furry family members. I am a full time student-athlete at Dickinson College, but I have plenty of time on weekends, between classes and after practice to take care of your furry friends! As a college student living in campus housing I do not have the space to offer pet care in my "home", but I am happy to care for your pets in your home! I vow to be respectful of your space and meet your pets needs!

About: I have had many pets/animals over the years. Cats, dogs, hamsters, hedgehogs, etc. Many of the cats I grew up with had medical issues so I'm able to help them as needed. I am working part time. And dont have a set schedule, So hours will vary, but I'll do my best to accommodate the times needed. Currently I have 2 cats, so it's not too hard. Water, food and litter. But I can take care of anything, and will accommodate your animals needs.

“Kat is AMAZING! She got back to me immediately and was so kind about my dog mom anxieties. She sent pictures and videos and gave my dogs so much attention! They already love her and we’ll definitely be using her again!!!”

About: Hello! My name is Samantha and I am a graduate student who enjoys working out and loves pets. I am looking to earn some extra cash to save up for expenses during physical therapy school while getting in my exercise and spending time with animals. I had to put down my beagle-basset mix around two years ago, so I really miss being around and taking care of a furry friend! I see Rover as a win-win situation--your dog gets the care and exercise they need while I do, too! I have experience taking care of small and medium-sized dogs. I can also walk large dogs, I just have not had the opportunity to. Feel free to message me with any questions. Thank you for reading! I am finished with my internship by 11:00 AM each day. On Tuesdays I have class at 5:00 PM, and Wednesdays I have class until 4:00 PM. Fridays I have completely off, and can usually walk whenever unless I'm traveling. While I don’t take care of pets in my current household, I will thoroughly complete what you need me to do for drop-ins in your own home. I prefer taking dogs for walks through neighborhoods with established sidewalks and typically will cross the street if I see any other dogs coming the direction if they aren't fond of others. I’m not super ecstatic of dog parks, just because I’m not the most knowledgeable person about how your dog reacts with other dogs—this is just a personal safety measure. I would never want anything happening to your best friend! I would take waste bags along with me for the walk, and will always have my phone and keys handy in case of an emergency.

Michael J.
“Michael is a highly educated young man whose love for animals took him to volunteer for animal shelters to help. He grew up with a Rottweiler that took care of him very protective. Now he himself has three cats whom are his children pretty much. He makes sure they get their check ups with their veterinarian and spoils them with lots of TLC. I trust him with my pets 💯%”

Alexis P.
“Alexis took care of my furry baby as if it were her own. She played with her, snuggled with her and gave her anything she needed. I am very careful with who I would allow to take care of my baby, and she was the person I trusted. She always did everything I requested and more to make her happy and know that she was loved even when I couldn't be there. You couldn't have a better person care for your fur baby.”

Cierra W.
“We have always joked that Cierra is a dog whisperer. She has a great love for all animals, dogs especially. If you are looking for someone to make sure your furbaby is happy and well attended to, Cierra is your girl. Not only will you have the peace of mind that your furbaby is in good hands, but they will also be happy in their own home environment when you are away on vacation. Pet and home sitter all in one. Does it get any better than that?”

Maureen G.
“Maureen looks after my pup whiskey when I go to work. What I especially appreciate is she took the time to know him and understand what he likes. They go to the park and play fetch which he loves! She is genuinely affectionate with him and I have peace of mind knowing she is taking care of my little man.”

Melissa T.
“Our dogs responded with love and calmness immediately when they met Melissa! I'm sure that's because Melissa is calm and obviously loves animals:) She sent us photos of our happy pups when she stopped to take care of them. Did I mention we have three dogs? lol. 100% recommend Melissa!!”

Olivia R.
“Olivia was a pet owner from the time she was 4 years old until 2018 when her dog passed. Olivia is professional, trustworthy, generous with her time and most importantly, compassionate and loving to all animals. She is very reliable and flexible. She enjoys getting to know animals, playing with them, and caring for them.”

Caleb H.
“Caleb has a love and dedication for animals that is unsurpassed. He has always been around multiple cats and dogs helping to care for their needs. He even climbed down a drain, in nice work clothes, to rescue a baby rabbit that fell down into the drain. He cared for the baby until it was ready to be released. He is dependable and reliable. You can be assured that he will be devoted to providing the loving care your pets will need while you are away.”

Kayla S.
“I have known Kayla for over 15 years, and she has always been devoted to caring for animals. Her love for all animals is endless. Every time she comes to my house, she spends more time playing with my dogs than she does with me. She would be an excellent, responsible, caring dog sitter.”

“Lily is amazing and really helped us out in a crunch! Will definitely be booking again!”

Deanna S.
“Deanna is one of the most caring and responsible pet caregivers I know. She’s had years of hands-on experience with her own two dogs, a playful French Bulldog puppy and a sweet 5-year-old Pit Bull/Bulldog mix. Watching her care for both has shown how well she adapts to different energy levels and personalities. Her older dog was the only pup in the home for years, and she handled the transition of adding a new puppy with so much patience and love. Deanna goes above and beyond to make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved. Anyone would be lucky to have her care for their pet!”

Alayna W.

“Alayna was very easy to work with. Communication could have been a little better. I would book her again in the future.”

Amiyah P.
“Beyond being one of the friendliest people I know, Amiyah is great with all of my pets and her professionalism is unmatched. She shows up exactly when agreed upon and my dog and cats are always excited to see her. She's sensitive to any aches and pains my older dog might have and she always returns home happy. Most of my animals are rescues. My dog suffers from separation anxiety. They require a lot of patience to gain their trust. It's clear that she not only loves animals, but understands their needs. Even my newest cat likes her and he doesn't like anyone! This past summer she alerted us to a concern that she had about my oldest cat. She had noticed the one side of his face looked bigger than the other side. She noted while he didn't seem to have any pain to the touch, it wasn't symmetrical. I noticed he looked a little fluffier in the face but didn't put much thought into it. She suggested we follow up with our vet. We did and the vet was able to treat and heal his underlying problem. Who knows how long he would have suffered and how bad it would have gotten had she not noticed this! We love and trust her and are thankful our babies have her to care for them when needed.”

Kaylie S.
“Kaylie is an animal lover! She's gentle, kind and will show them endless affection. She has 2 cats of get own that she plays and cuddles with. She would take excellent care of any animal, especially dogs, as they are her favorite! Whether it's just taking them for a walk or pet sitting, she will be responsible and attentive.”

“Sam is so amazing! Not only do I love her, but my dog does too! She is always prompt getting to my house and bringing my dog home. Sam also knows how to handle my pit bull (and she’s a pretty big dog!). It’s nice to know I don’t have to worry about Izzy’s (my dog) safety when she’s with Sam.”
