About: I’ve taken care of dogs while babysitting, I’ve taken care of some dogs from this app, I provided exercise and entertainment for them. I recently cared for a senior dog who needed pain medicine every day. People have relied on me to walk, feed, and stay with their dogs for days at a time. I feed and change my own cat’s litters frequently, love them to death. I can mostly work weekends because of school. Would love to look after any dogs or cats. I can feed pets, go on frequent walks, get them to play with toys if they have any, change litter boxes, stay overnight to ensure the safety of the home and pets.
“Tracy did walks with my pitbull / boxer Sandy! They became BFFs and now Sandy howls delightfully and brings him a pink stuffed animal everytime he comes over to walk her! His updates are thorough, and he pays attention to hydration…giving her water several Times during her walk!”

About: I’ve taken care of family animals for years. I have previous experience working in a pet store, and 2 pets of my own as well. I am currently working full time during the week with a flexible schedule, but I am available in the evenings and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. I have a cat at home that is not super fond of other pets, so any care I provide would need to be in the clients home, or the walking service.

About: I’ve been a devoted pet parent for 26 years and I love pet sitting & getting to know & love other fur babies as well. I’m comfortable giving medications, caring for senior dogs, and keeping up with high-energy pups who need real walks (not just a lap around the block). I tune in quickly to each pet’s vibe so they feel safe, happy, and genuinely cared for. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I structure my days with flexibility so I can be present, attentive, and consistent with visits, walks, and care throughout the week. I have a flexible schedule and am available just about every day of the week with enough notice. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes so pets can stay in their familiar environment and routines. I follow all instructions closely, respect household rules, and keep doors, gates, and leashes secure at all times. I prioritize cleanliness, safety, and clear communication, and I check in with updates so you can feel confident your pet and home are well cared for.
About: Hello, excited to start this new adventure. I’ve been watching dogs for over a year, and was later introduced to the Rover app. I have one dog of my own adopted from the Montgomery humane shelter. Recently just graduated, so I’m currently studying for my boards to be a registered occupational therapist. I would like to be able to stay home more so I can study, and spend more time with my fur babies. I will be available 7 days a week. If I have any off day by chance, just message me and I can see if we will be able to work something out.❤️ I currently stay in an apartment, close by Shakespeare park, with a near by dog park that I take my fur babies to every other day. I have a fenced in balcony that I and my dog enjoy sittings on every night. I have one XL cage for bigger dogs, and one human sized bed as well (literally like three humans can fit on it) Just want to make sure everyone is comfortable, even though with all the space they still lay directly on top of each other. 😂❤️
About: I got my first dog Coco when I was 6 years old. Growing up I was taught how to properly care for her. Since then I have adopted 2 more dogs Lucy and Smokey. I love taking Lucy on longer walks and Smokey on shorter walks that he can manage. I’m currently trying to play professional golf so my only job is playing golf. I have lots of free time throughout the day to come home and play with the pups before returning to the golf course. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs that love to make friends. I can also care for your dog in their own home if that makes them more comfortable. I can take your dogs for long walks if they enjoy them.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every size, shape, and breed since I was roughly 8. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I’m very reasonably priced, and as a veterinary technician of 5+ years and a graduate of Jefferson State’s Veterinary Technology program, I have the specialized training for giving medications and what to do should an emergency arise! I am familiar with emergency medicine and have worked in an ER setting for almost a year. I’m currently taking a break from veterinary medicine to study for my state licensing exam to become a licensed veterinary technician! This has freed my schedule up to provide more care for pets! My weekends are considerably more free but I can provide morning or afternoon/evening drop ins! I have a large yard that is completely fenced! I crate my own pets when I am not home so I am happy to stop in and let your crated pets out for potty breaks! I adhere to feeding/bathroom/medication schedules to a T.

I actually adopted my own dog this past year from the humane society and it has been the best experience getting to take care of my own dog. Im currently a student athlete and I absolutely love animals. I would absolutely get my own animals if I could but my parents won’t let me until I get my own place, but in the mean time I would love to help you out with yours! Tracy is so amazing. He was very thorough on the needs of my Ruger boy. There was an instant connection when they first met. I always knew what was going on, the communication was impeccable! He always made sure Ruger had a treat and his water bowl filled when they were done with their walk. I cannot thank Tracy enough for taking care of my boy and giving him all the loves when he took care of him!! I HIGHLY recommend Tracy for any services, I genuinely trusted him and knew my boy would be in good hands the whole time. We appreciate you so much!!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
