About: I grew up taking care of my neighbors’ pets which was more like a zoo. They had dogs, cats, rabbits, lizards, fish, and even a ferret. I have been an animal lover all of my life and have continued to pet sit for friends and family over the years. Additionally, I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters and have a lot of experience cleaning and providing care for multiple animals at one time. I also have owned cats my whole life and have a lot of experience taking care of dogs as well! I am currently between jobs so I have a lot of free time and am super flexible! During this time, I am able to care for your pet as much as possible :) I am very big on giving animals lots of love and affection! I know oftentimes pets can get anxiety when their owners are away, so I follow a routine the animals can depend on so they know they are getting their needs met by me everyday. I get a sense of what their normal routines are and try not to stray from these as much as possible so there is still consistency in the animals’ lives.

About: I have been dog sitting since I was in high school which was almost 10 years ago now! I have a few people I dog sat for on a regular basis in college and would be happy to provide you with their contact information if you would like to reach out and hear their opinion before I watch your pup! I have had a couple bad experiences with certain rover sitters and I joined rover because I want people to feel like their dog is on vacation when they are away from their house or out of town. I understand how it feels to not feel like your dog is getting proper care and I want to ensure your dog gets the best care possible while I am watching him/her! We live in a house with a very large fenced in area for the dogs to run. We also live on a farm so have lots of open fields that I take Summer & Addie off leash. Ive spent time volunteering on horse ranches as well. I currently have 3 dogs, 1 cat and a lizard who are all very spoiled. I work full time in retail and would like to be able to help local friends with their pets. We are fortunate our dogs don't spend much time alone in the house as my husband and I have opposite schedules. Due to our fortune I'd like to give you the peace of mind knowing your fur baby has potty breaks and attention when they need it, while you're on vacation or at work. Since I work full time, and it's retail my schedule fluctuates alot. I'm often available first thing in the morning and then in the evening. On my off days which also fluctuate my schedule is open. As far as boarding goes. I have a 3200 Sq ft house. Split into an upstairs and a down stairs. I have had to keep my mom's dogs separate from our dogs when she visits and it's never been a probably to rotate the dogs in and out, etc. I am confident in taking great care of your loved one and also taking care of mine. The basement door stays shut with access for the cat via kitty door. I personally have a fenced in large yard. I'm very loving, however am willing to use my dog mom voice to ask pets to sit, or lay down when necessary. I stay aware of the amount of time my dogs are outside and the weather conditions, sympathizing to their paw needs. Our pets get treats, snuggles and praise often. The biggest thing we make sure to do is to be aware of our pets body language. How their ears sit, if they seem agitated, if they do or don't want play time, etc. This allows us to give them what they need and prevent any kind of hostilities towards one another. In the 4 years we've had our current 3 dogs this has proven to be very successful.

I would love to get to know and take care of more dogs! I’m super excited to start this experience and spend time with my favorite animals! I wanna ensure they get all the attention they deserve. I work at a school so I am home by 3pm during the week and I am free on the weekends. I wake up early to spend time with the dogs before I go to work and spend the evenings with them when I get home. I spend a lot of time with my dog and ensure they have everything they need and go on lots of walks and give them as many treats as allowed

About: With 5 years of previous veterinary medicine experience, I bring a high level of knowledge and compassion to each visit. I’ve handled pets of various ages, sizes, and temperaments comfortably. I am able to administer medications, monitor health, and give extra attention to pets with special needs. I’ll make sure that your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I am currently finishing my college degree in Psychology, and my classes are entirely online. I have plenty of flexibility for drop in visits and dog walking during the week. If your pet is typically fed/walked/etc at a certain time, let me know! I will do my best to keep your pet’s routine, I find that they are less stressed with as little change as possible. I always try to make pets feel as comfortable as possible. Even in their own home, pets can get nervous around a stranger. For this reason, I am willing to schedule a meet and greet with you beforehand. I was a “fear-free” certified professional, so I have plenty of experience with anxious pets!

About: I have been a reliable sitter for friends and family for about 10yrs. I have experience with many breeds(yorkie to pitbull) of all ages(8wk old puppy to 15yr old senior). I walk my own senior dog daily and understand the time and patience they need. I have rescued dogs over the years with different issues and understand each dog is different and has different needs and personalities. I'm fully prepared to try to meet those needs and help them have a great experience with me. Pet Care fits into my free time in the middle of the week. I will offer weekend availability when I can. I will try to update the calendar a week in advance when available. I try to be aware of surroundings and other animals to avoid any possible situations that would put your pet in harm or even a stressful situation. I will do my best to make every visit enjoyable and safe for your pet.

“Selina is reliable and takes the job seriously. She showed up with her own leash, just to be on the safe side! And she even walks Luke a little longer when she has the time and it’s a nice day. Luke likes her and wiggles his butt when she comes to pick him up.”

About: The human-animal bond is precious. I know for me, my pets are like my babies. They're everything to me! If I hire someone to watch my pets, I expect them to care for and love them like their own. And that's what I do for my clients. Separation can be hard for a lot of animals, so it's my duty to make sure each pet is comfortable, cared for, and happy while you're away. I have over 12 years of experience caring for my own pets and those of friends/family members. I currently take care of my 3 cats, and I watch my mother-in-law's cats when she's away. Over the last year, I was also responsible for caring for my dad's horses on his farm, as well as looking after his Australian Shepherds, cats, goats, parrot, and chickens whenever he was away. I also cared for my pet ferret until she passed a few years ago, so I'm comfortable with exotic species as well. My partner of 7 years, Cody, helps me with pet care and sitting. He is equally as loving and kind towards animals and has extensive experience with reptiles and larger dog breeds - he had 7 St. Bernards growing up! Aside from pet care, I'm an accomplished writer and editor. I help authors fulfill their dreams of publishing novels their readers will treasure for years to come. Cody is a freelance computer repair technician and a maker of many things. He's dabbled in pottery, electroforming, fractal burning, metalworking... The list goes on and on, and he excels at them all! We both value kindness, compassion, and quality in everything we do. We are punctual and reliable, so you never have to worry if your pets are getting the care they need when they need it. We send frequent updates and pictures, so you know your pets are in good hands. We make sure their water bowls and hearts are always full, and we provide love and cuddles in abundance. We can't wait to meet your fur babies! 😊💕🐾 I'm currently between jobs, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I like waking up early, so maintaining regular routines (feeding, walking, outside time, etc.) is no problem. I'm available during the week, on weekends, and on holidays, so you never have to stress about finding someone to care for your pet while you're away. To ensure safety and trust, I carefully adhere to my client's instructions for pet sitting and care. I ensure all pets always have water available at all times and are fed in appropriate amounts at the desired times. I pay attention to the needs of the pets (regarding potty time, play time, etc.) to provide a caring and low-stress environment.
