About: I have been pet sitting as well as taking care of my own pets ever since I was 11. I have plenty of experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, as well as a variety of cats. I love animals and I am grateful for every opportunity I have to get to know a new pet. My experience and love for animals provide me with the necessary skills to give your pets the loving care they deserve. I look forward to getting to know your pet and learning the best ways to keep them happy and healthy. I am taking a brief break before starting my nursing program so I have plenary of time to pet sit! I love kids as well as pets and intend to be a pediatric nurse. I have a very open and flexible schedule before my program starts in May so I’m happy to come watch your pets anytime! I am happy to learn about your preferences and rules to keep your pet happy and healthy. I will always be timely with requests and follow instructions to the letter. I will make sure your pet is healthy as well as loved when they are with me. No requests for care, love, or play are ever too much. I’m happy if your pet is happy.

I was nervous about leaving my furbabies with a stranger but Kori reassured me and kept her word by sending me daily photos (sometimes several) of my dogs and was in constant contact the whole time. The house was as clean as I left it and she even washed her sheets and towels! The next time we go out of time I hope she's available.

Amanda was great with our three Husky’s. They are all blowing their coats and she did a great job keeping up with the flying fur. Our dogs were so calm and relaxed when we got home, she did a great job of keeping me updated and I didn’t have to worry about whether or not they were well cared for during our vacation!

5 STAR ⭐️ Jasmin and her pup Thor took the best care of my deaf bulldog, Mouse while I was out of town for 3 nights. I was so worried when I saw that there would be extreme heat during my time away but when I reached out to Jasmin she asked great questions and listened carefully to how I usually handle hot weather to keep Mouse safe and comfortable. Jasmin provided great updates and pictures/video that made me feel able to relax and enjoy my vacation. Jasmin carefully followed Mouse’s complicated feeding and medication needs. I feel Lucky to have met Jasmin, she even provided some training for Mouse and I on a behavioral issue he was having.

Randy was awesome with Mabel! He walked her endlessly so much so, when we came back, Mabel was so chill! Also, our flights were delayed twice and Randy spent extra time making sure Mabel wouldn’t be left alone having to potty for a long time. His care was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I also want to commend Randy for how he took care of the house. I have had sitters (not from Rover) who left the house in a shambles: unmade bed, stuff on the kitchen counters, etc, so that when you got home you had to tidy up before you could unpack. Randy had the house like when we left, or better. He was polite, kind, attentive to Mabel and just all around terrific. He is now my ‘go to’ guy! Thanks tons Randy!

Shane is awesome! He took great care of our 3 goldens and 4 cats. He was very good with Tank (our high maintenance dog) and was able to keep him calm and happy. We got daily photos and updates. I never worried. Shane is trustworthy and dependable. I think the dogs were upset when we got home as they were hoping it was Shane. Thank you for taking good care of everyone while we were away. We will always look to book Shane for our pet sitting needs.

About: Hi! I’m a reliable and caring animal lover with 5 years of experience in pet sitting and dog walking through multiple companies. Animals have always been a huge part of my life — I grew up helping care for and train my uncle’s service dogs, which taught me patience, consistency, and how to understand different dog personalities and needs. I also have a lot of experience with puppies and dogs that need extra care because I volunteer at an animal shelter. Through my experience I have gotten to know so many breeds and their special personalities, unique abilities, and where they may need some extra care. I genuinely love spending time with animals, whether that’s long walks, playtime, keeping them company, or making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. As a fun hobby, I also make homemade dog treats, so you can safely say I’m a little obsessed with dogs🥰 I know how important trust is when someone is caring for your pet, and I always treat every animal like they’re my own. I’m dependable, attentive, and happy to accommodate your pet’s routine and personality to make the experience stress free for both of you! I am a college student so I have a lot of availability. My classes are mid day and only 2 hrs long. I only have class 2 days a week. In the summer and over winter break I have full availability. I feed them the recommended amount, give lots of cuddles, walks and all the love! I give them my full attention and follow the owners instructions.

FAQs for House Sitting - Moultrie

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 337 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Moultrie. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Moultrie walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Moultrie maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Moultrie choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Moultrie. On Rover:

  • 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 89% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
