About: I am SUCH an animal person. I have had pets my whole life, even more unique animals like hamsters, lizards, and even a tortoise! I love dogs of any size or age. I have experience with big dogs (my precious baby was a Cane Corso at 175 pounds), and I have also had little dogs (my Stella, the 3-pounds yorkie). I took care of both of my dogs until they passed, so I also have skills and patience with senior/elderly animal care. I also dog and cat sit quite frequently in my home town. About: I have over 2 years of pet-care experience, but I have loved animals my entire life! In 2021, I started a job at the Wiregrass Humane Society. There I gained experience with cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes, from baby to senior. I learned how to read body language and how each specific breed acts. I also gained experience with special needs animals, including giving medications whether it be oral or injected. In 2022, I started a job at Wags & Whiskers, where I still currently work when I am home from college. Here, I have gained experience working with multiple dogs in a group to keep the group fun and playful! I have learned even more body languages of dogs with each other and how to care for special needs babies. Caring for animals isn’t what I do, it’s who I am! I could not imagine doing anything else in life. It is truly my passion! I am currently a full time student at Troy University! I have plenty of time outside of classes to come check on your fur babies! :) As someone who has years of animal care experience, I can promise that any animal I encounter, whether it be in my home or someone else’s home, will always be treated like they are my own. I would love nothing more than to be able to love on and take care of your babies!!!!

About: I worked in a Doggy Daycare and Boarding facility in my home town for the last two years, through which I gained experience in both basic animal care and handling and administering medicine, and basic medical emergencies such as seizures, heat-related illness, and bloat. Before that job, I spent several years pet-sitting for a family friend, who had 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 rats. I can certainly provide references for both. I also have my own dog right now, a 2 year old (very high energy) pit mix named Miller. I’m currently a student at Troy University but my classes are all in the morning. I also work part time at a restaurant but can work around that easily. I don’t work every day at the restaurant though, I have every Sunday completely free and have 1-2 weeknights off as well. While I can’t provide care in my own home due to my lease, I will provide lots of play time, love, and affection for your fur baby at your home, as well as feeding, walks, etc. I can adjust to whatever energy level your pet has- if they want to run laps around the yard, then run we shall.

Olivia P.
“Olivia is a wonderful caretaker! She is always happy and quick to help anytime I’ve needed her. She loves animals and I believe she was pursuing veterinarian school at one point. She’s super sweet and communicative and absolutely does not mind going the extra mile for someone in need. She took care of my senior dog and mid-aged dog while I was on Christmas break out of the country. She follows instructions and doesn’t hesitate to reach out with concerns. Olivia is a trustworthy individual in all aspects, but especially with attending to people and animals. You will not be disappointed if you hire Olivia for any of your needed pet services.”
