“Wendy was THE absolute best!! She was very kind and accommodating!! I had complications happen with my move and at the last minute, she didn’t hesitate to keep my babies an extra day!! I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend Wendy!! And, while I don’t often have a need, any time I do, she’s who I will go to 💕”

“Namita and Sean were amazing. Communication was awesome, loads of pictures and my girl came back happy! She even set up a meet and greet with me before to see exactly how everyone would interact with each other. I could not recommend her more. We have definitely found a safe place for our girl. If you're reading this and having any reservations about leaving the your dog in safe hands, you've found the right people.”

“Awesome family to watch your pups. Super communicative, friendly and really have such a love for dogs. We’ve used them multiple times and just love them.”

“I always feel comfortable leaving Carter with Emily and her family. Photos are sent every day and she gives updates on how he is doing. Carter seemed to make himself at home and we were able to enjoy our vacation. Would use Emily again.”

“We feel incredibly lucky to have found Victoriya. Our cats are not an easy group to care for... they are all special-needs cats with complex medical issues, including epilepsy, and one requires multiple medications twice daily. Finding someone we trust with their care is extremely difficult, but Victoriya exceeded every expectation. She handled all of his medications flawlessly, was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about each of our cats as individuals. Managing multiple cats with different medical needs requires patience, organization, and dedication, and she did an outstanding job. Throughout our trip, we had peace of mind knowing they were in such capable hands. What impressed us most was how comfortable and cared for our cats were when we returned home. It was obvious they had received excellent care and attention while we were away. We have already booked Victoriya for our next trip, which says everything about the confidence we have in her. If you have pets with medical needs or simply want someone trustworthy, compassionate, and dependable, we cannot recommend her highly enough. She is truly a gem, and we are so grateful to have found her!”

“Great pet sitter! They took excellent care of my spoiled Chihuahuas and treated them like their own. I received numerous daily updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, reliable pet sitter.”

“Trey was amazing! I boarded my dog with him over my vacation and she was in good hands with him. She had plenty of play time. My dog has needs to be fed with specific diet and Trey followed her meal plan well.”

About: I currently own a very healthy English bulldog who is 10 years old & a French bulldog who is 2 years old. I have owned both since they were 2 months old. I also bred English and French Bulldogs for four years, which gave me extensive hands-on experience caring for puppies from birth through adulthood. Because bulldogs are such a sensitive breed, I am comfortable and knowledgeable in handling everything from routine care to more specialized needs, including administering medications, tube feeding, and providing extra attention to puppies or dogs requiring additional support. I treat every dog as if they were my own and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and attentive care. I'm available pretty much 24/7 and I would of course let you know otherwise. I am currently working remote Monday through Friday so I do not go anywhere so that I can attend to your fur babies. The weekends just give me more time to attend to them fully without work interrupting. I have a big sized backyard with a tall fence. In my home: The dogs are welcome to roam around the main living area. When outside they may roam freely, though I do supervise them for their safety. Water is available at all times, yet food bowls are only out for feeding times. My dogs are kept in there own area while boarding for your pets own comfort. For sleep time, If no crates are needed I have dog beds and blankets so they can just pick their favorite comfortable spot to sleep.
“Ketsiah was absolutely amazing. Took in our pup on short notice. Kept in contact with us the entire trip. Pics and texts. We truly appreciate you Ketsy! Thank you so much. I highly recommend her.”

“Excellent experience with Josh and Erin! We were in Texas visiting our son’s family to meet our newest grandson. We wanted to limit the commotion with their dog and chose to put Charlie with a Rover home. It was perfect. Josh and Erin were very friendly and caring with our Charlie. We will definitely use Josh and Erin again when we go back down.”

“Serina is a fantastic sitter. He takes good care of our furry babies. She’s a good communicator and a very patient person. Our dogs like her and were very happy to be back to her place 😃😃”

“Kami is wonderful with Buddy. He had not seen her in a couple of years but he remembered her and was happy to be there. He settled right in and she sent me a text to follow up and let me know how he was doing. I would trust her with any of mine any time! Can’t say enough good things about her!”

“Alexandria is the best! I left Pascal with her for two weeks. She treated him as her own and me as a friend. I cannot thank you enough, Alexandria. ??? May you be blessed for your good heart.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Moss Hill home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Moss Hill.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Moss Hill sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
