About: My whole life my parents have had dogs so I’ve grown up around dogs since I was an infant, this also means that they’ve had quite a few different puppies over the years and I have helped train them. I am the go to person for all of my friends and family. If they need someone to watch their pets while they’re gone I absolutely love seeing their animals and taking care of them and I treat everyone’s animals as if they’re my own and do the things that I would want others to do for my pets. During the school year, I work as a teaching assistant at an elementary school. This means that my summers are very open and free to watch others pets and give them plenty of love and attention. I care for pets in others homes as if they were my own pet, I will make sure to play with them and feed them and get them outside, but also just cuddle them if they like that and give them the space if they also would prefer that.

About: I’m reducing my current job schedule to part time as a mental health therapist in order to engage in my passions. With this in mind, I would love to direct my empathy, patience, and connection towards any animal(s). I currently own 3 cats and would want nothing but the best for them if I were to be away and so I will use this as my guide when keeping care of your pets. I have been around animals most of my life and have taken care of dogs, and cats primarily for family, friends, and strangers throughout my career experience. I have been on Rover for a few years now and have experienced alot so far but I am sure that I will still get a surprise here and there! I try to take all surprises with grace and just learn from them! We have: bones, hard yak cheese sticks, frisbee, balls, soft stuffy toys, rope toys, bubble machine, dog pool and pounce sprinkler, lick mats, sniff mats, puzzle toys, we do some arts and crafts (typically on or near holidays), homemade frozen enrichment bowls, if you request a bath for your dog I have multiple deshedding tools. Blankets, crates, extra bowls and diapers if needed. I am investing a lot into my doggy business. I recently made a small indoor gated area that has mats layed down for optimal comfort during indoor play and sleeping. I am in the process of creating an additional fenced in area in my yard that will feature a sand pit for those that love to dig, turf grass to contain the mud and a climbing feature for king of the hill! I can give your dog the patience it may need for basic training along with draining out some of the coopt up energy so they can listen better! Training in wee hours doesnt bother me at all and can even be fun. I have kids that are not rough or overly involved with animals and that also know some basic training. I currently work from home so am pretty flexible when it comes to accommodating what works best for my pet parents! My mom is also very helpful in the chance that I do leave home, she resides with me! I have a decent sized fenced backyard for being in the city. We love to play fetch and run perimeter. Inside we like to use our indoor manners. Typically all of the dogs sleep together with blankets and cushions that I provide in a space that is about 10x10. I do have crates to utilize if it is the pet parents preference or if we have concerns with potty or chewing issues (I may utilize a doggy diaper when in doors if your dog marks inside) . Some dogs do get to sleep in a separate space from other dogs or in a room with one of my kids if that is where they feel the most comfortable and behave the best.

About: I’m knowledgeable in breed-specific needs and maintain consistency to keep them mentally and physically happy! I have previously taken dog behavior courses and am familiar with dog body language. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and ages! No dog is “too much!” I am comfortable with administering medications and providing grooming for long haired/high maintenance breeds. I have worked with puppies all the way up to senior dogs so I am comfortable handling all ages. I have a full-time job but am more than happy to fit time in to take care of your lovely fur baby. My typical shift is 8:00-4:30pm M-F. I have open availability on weekends to provide housesitting! If you are looking for constant care (pet cannot be left alone for 4 hours or more), I am happy to provide that however, I do charge a constant care rate if during the work week as I will need to take those days off and I will need to recoup lost salary. For constant care pets, I do require at least a month’s notice ahead of time so I can get that time off to accommodate. I will never take a sit if my work schedule cannot accommodate it—your pet’s care and safety is extremely important to me. I will work with you to decide if I am the right fit for your pet’s needs and routine. Nothing is worse than upsetting your pet’s routine and comfortability! I now offer drop-visits as well! This is great for people who might need someone to check in your fur baby a couple times a day but does not need around-the-clock needs. I am happy to drop in before work (8am) and can drop by after work! If you’re someone who works longer shifts, this is perfect for you! I am comfortable crating your pet if requested but they are also more than welcome to share a bed with me if they are used to sleeping with you! If you have an unfenced yard, I will keep them on leash at all times. If you have a fenced yard, I will stay out and monitor them until they are ready to come inside. Doors will be locked at all times whether I am in the home with your pet or if I’m at work. If you have any home-alarm systems, I will use them as well.

About: My family always had dogs and cats while I was growing up. I sorted the pictures of the dogs I have known the longest to the shortest, with a photo of me at The Hemingway House in Key West FLA petting a cat. First is my childhood dog named Fezz who passed away in 2020. Second is my brothers beagle, Jack. Next is an old friend’s tan Pitbull named Louise. Then there is my dad’s white puppy named Piggie. The next photos are my friend Andy’s dogs. Two Bully Breeds. The white one is Biggie and the grey one is Gianna. I have watched them a few times and I walk them together. Biggie is a rescue and is considered a high risk dog. He has bit 10+ people, but he loves me so much and is very comfortable around me. I wouldn’t say I’m a dog whisperer, but I certainly have a way with dogs. I have watched my brother’s beagle as well a few times. When I lived in CO (about a decade ago) I watched a German Shepherd and an Alaskan Malamute. They were a handful and hard to walk together as they were both pretty big and strong, but I was still able to do it. I work remote doing life and health insurance, so I’m just looking for a side job to supplement my income until I build my book of business up. I could watch them at my house as I have a huge fenced in yard, but I would rather meet the animal at home where it’s most comfortable for them. When I watch Andy’s dogs, I watch them at his house.

About: I currently have 3 dogs, and a young child in the home. I have had dogs and taken care of them since I was 3 years old. Also have/had other animals such as horses, goats, cats, fish, hermit crabs, chickens, and ducks. Flexible schedule. Love taking the dogs for walks, weather permitting. Some toys and an area to run are the perfect combination to tire out your pooch. Sick pupper? Don't worry I will gladly watch over the poor thing with lots of snuggles. Have an energizer bunny? Weather permitting we will go for a long walk. Don't mind another dog in your home? I can bring my pupper with me so they can play the day away. No pup too big, no pup too small. You won't regret considering me. (: NOTE: There will be a $30 flat for any location that is over a 25 minute drive. I'm currently working full time as a construction flagger. I'm mostly available on holidays and December to April. Possible pick up and drop off for boarding available but will vary by day. I have tie outs available and 3 dogs for the pups to play with. I can easily contain your dog separately, however if they use an actual crate I recommend bringing it for me to setup in my home.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I have helped family and friends by watching their animals while they are gone. I enjoy spending time with animals. I work full time. I am mainly available in the evenings and weekends. My work schedule can vary some days and I may be available during the day. My children love animals, if appropriate I would love to be able to bring them along at times to help teach them responsibility and to give your pet extra attention. About: I am an animal lover who has trained and cared for a variety of species since an early age. I have experience with dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs/cavies, chickens, pigeons, goats, sheep, pigs, cattle, and horses, though I have primarily focused on the first eight species listed. I have shown poultry and rabbits in 4-H and at national-level shows, and I have a heart for both pet and exhibition or working animals. Large dogs or creatures that need a little extra coaxing or finesse do not phase me. My current living situation does not allow me to own pets, so I am hoping to serve pet owners through Rover while also satisfying my love of animals. My husband and I recently moved back to Hillsdale (we were students at the college a couple years ago). I will be entering the Graduate School of Classical Education in fall 2024. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom to my 9-month-old son, which means I have a pretty flexible schedule. I expect to have enough flexibility to engage in pet care even after I start school this fall. I care for all pets calmly, gently, firmly, flexibly, and with attention to detail. Safety is a top concern, whether it involves making sure all doors or gates are closed securely, keeping dogs on-leash until I know them well enough, double-checking the kind and amount of food I am giving a cat, handling a rabbit in a way that protects its vulnerable spine, etc. I greatly appreciate well-trained animals, and I enjoy training them, but I am very willing to work with young and less-trained animals, too.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, where I learned the responsibility and care that goes into each individual pup! I recently worked for Boston Dog Butlers in Boston, and have moved home for the summer! I’ve been trained on all sizes, different breeds and different needs of dogs all while putting their safety first! I recently moved back to Michigan for the summer and picked Rover back up before I move to Europe in a few months! I have all weekday and weekend availability! I have dog sat many of times with a mix of routines— I feel comfortable having the dogs out and about, but can also crate them if necessary! I make sure all food and cherished items are out of reach, and I make sure to actually be with the dogs so they don’t get into anything they shouldn’t!

About: Have had multiple dogs all my life. Each dog always required different needs. I understand the way dogs act or if they get jealous by paying attention to their actions. I have gave medicine to dogs where owners had trouble. I have training done with my dog, so I know how to pass on helpful techniques. Saturdays i am available after 5pm. I currently work full time. But love going on walks in my free time, so why not bring a furry friend! It's enjoyable for me! Night time walks/runs happen after work. If you have a pet safe wireless system at home. Bring your collar as well. I can accommodate to your needs. My fiance is home before I am most days and he will let out your pet and give it extra loving. I do have a little tot that loves dogs and she is good about keeping her eye on them letting me know if they are doing something they shouldn't be doing.. Angel tolerates and does her own thing. Bandit is a yapper but loves to play chase! Bernie he is a big puppy that loves to play!

About: My animal experience began as a child, having MANY cats, dogs of various sizes, bunnies, hamsters, Guinea pigs, turtles, and more as pets! As an adult I now have Siberian Huskies, German Shepherds, and a few large breed mixes. My boyfriend and I also raise Siberian Huskies and GSD’s. I currently have dogs, cats, a tortoise, and a few different wildlife species. In terms of professional experience, I have been working as a veterinary assistant for the past ten years, and am currently a veterinary surgical assistant in Jackson.
