“I’m so thankful to Megan for coming in and walking my 7 week old puppy 3x in a day while I was at work. She kept in contact with me and sent the best pics of my Jack! Will be using her again.”

About: Hello! My name is Sam, my husband and I have 4 dogs, and 3 cats. We don’t have any kids, so our fur babies are our whole world.♥️ they LOVE having other dogs over to play! We would love to care for your fur babies too! I am self employed and make my own hours, so I can cater to your fur kids needs! If they need frequent potty breaks or just extra attention I’m there!♥️ Our house will be your fur babies second home! We have 4 dogs of our own, and they love to meet new friends. We have an extra large kennel so you don’t have to bring your own, and we also have a spare bedroom if your dog is not crate trained. I guarantee your fur kid will be loved as if they were our own♥️
About: I have had cats and dogs in my home since I was a young child and feel comfortable around all animals. I love that, through Rover, I can step in as needed to provide seamless care and attention to other people's beloved furbabies. I am a substitute teacher and, during the week, can easily fit in multiple drop-in visits with my flexible schedule. I also have most weekends free, allowing me to offer Saturday and Sunday services. I am comfortable feeding wet and/or dry food, refilling water bowls/fountains and scooping litter boxes. I will also use my time to provide cats with attention like pets, hair brushing and play time.
About: I have had pets all my life and can’t imagine life without them. I’m one of those people who sees a dog and gets excited. My own 4 dogs and 1 cat are my world. I have experience with dogs who have seizures, dogs who have liver shunt disorders and dogs with anxiety issues. I know how hard it is to find a sitter when I have to go out of town. I would love to give pet owners the peace of mind they need to enjoy their time away. Now that I have retired from teaching, my availability has increased. I’m available for twice daily visits/walks. If you’re in the Carthage area, I can do more than 2 visits if needed. As retired teacher, I am now able to do twice daily visits and more if you live in the Carthage area. I can do mornings, afternoons, and early evenings. I would love to care for pets in their own environments. I would take the time to spend with them making sure they are loved and cared for as if they were my own.
About: I have always loved dogs and taking care of them for friends and family. I have taken care of a variety of dogs from the size of a Chihuahua to a Labrador. When my grandparents would go on trips, they always trusted me to care for their dogs. I have taken care of puppies and older dogs, some who have needed medicine or special care. I have house sat for my sister while taking care of her lab and husky for a week. My previous roommate recommended me to her friend to take care of her dog and cat several times. A couple times I have housed a friend's dog when he goes on trips. I recently started helping train a friends puppy who is full of energy. Every Saturday for about 4 years, I helped my parent's neighbor take care of the foster dogs she housed. I would help feed them, take them outside, and put them in crates when they were off to be adopted. One time she had a litter of puppies, so I would go and help take care of them or help the mom rest from the puppies. I am currently looking for work, so I am free during most of each week. I attend church Sunday morning and have church group on Friday nights. These activities will not get in the way of me taking care of your pets. My husband and I have a senior dog that is an Australian Shepherd Border Collie mix. My friends and family who have dogs, consider me one of the first people to take care of their dog while they are out of town. I will follow the routine and house rules that you have set for your pets when I take care of them in your house. I am able to take your pets on walks or to the park, if allowed. I can watch your pets while they are roaming around the backyard, if needed. I have some experience crating dogs.
About: Haven't met an animal yet that hasn't allowed me to connect with them in a positive way, I love pets of all kinds and have a long history of caring for animals both in the home and on the farm. I will help you with your dog, cat, bird, reptile, small furry pet and fish, whether it be just one or an entire fish room. I have pets and understand how important their care is, especially when I'm not available for whatever reason! You can trust me to do what's expected in the care of your pets, they are my first priority while in my care and rest assured I will provide quality and loving care to them while you're away from them and your home. Totally new with Rover, ask to check availability please, I'd love to help you out with your pets and house-sitting needs. Will be able to update soon. I have a large fenced yard and have fully vaxxed, spayed and neutered dogs and cats at home, plenty of room for your pet crate if I board your pet(s). Also can travel to your home daily or stay with them if needed.
About: I have worked at a dog boarding and grooming facility for three years, and used to work in the kennels at a veterinary clinic. I'm used to working with dogs and cats and am comfortable with their body language and different temperaments. I am currently open for every day at any times but would prefer to discuss so I could work around my work schedules, I have my own transportation so I am able to visit any time needed I am willing to go visit your pet, walk them, play with them, and possibly bath them. I love spending time with dogs and like walks, runs, or just sitting and enjoying the weather with your fur baby.
About: I am local foster through a local rescue. My husband and I both have a passion for dogs and will treat your fur babies like they are our own! We have experience caring for puppies as young as 8 week and seniors. We are comfortable administering medications if needed and are familiar with pups who may have seizures. We don’t have any stairs so there is no need to worry about a senior pup who might have hip issues needing to climb stairs. I work full time and my husband works full time as well. Our schedules are staggered so your pup would be let out first thing in the morning by myself and then my husband will resume until he leaves for work. Midday we have a family member come over and let the dogs go outside and allow them to eat and drink as well as have some time to play. They are never left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. The days I’m off I’m home and my husband works from home 2 days a week as well. We have had this routine for over 4 years now with our own personal dogs and there has never been any issues. We had a brand new privacy fence installed on July 12th! We have a half acre back yard so dogs will have plenty of room to run! We will do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have. Please note our home was recently built so our grass is still in the process of growing. There may be days your pet becomes muddy if conditions are rainy. I am happy to provide a bath for your pet for a small additional fee upon request. I also highly recommend doing a meet and greet prior to your stay to ensure your dog will be comfortable with my pets and around the house.

About: I have yet to meet a pet I dont like! I have two cats and a senior dog. They are my world! Animals of all shapes and sizes are my passion and I love to learn about them all! Even the scaley ones! 🦎 I get to choose my own schedule so I can spend plenty of time with your pets! I travel all around the 4 state area! Dog walking overnight sitting you name it! I am good at following directions and will take the best care of your babies with plenty of updates and pictures. I love notes and I treat all babies like my own, with love and respect.

Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
