About: I’ve been taking care of animals of all types for all my life including my own fur baby, a mini golden doodle. I have also volunteered for dog and cat groups over the years and have gained experience with all different personalities and quirks. ALL pets are prefered to be up to date on vaccines. I also require a meet and greet of your pets prior to any services so they get to know me and no complications arise, especially for house sitting. About: I've had a plethora of animals over my 35 years of existence. Dog breeds include a Labrador, Border Collie, Beagle, German Shepard, and Chihuahua. Other species include six rats, one guinea pig, three rabbits, two corn snakes, and a bearded dragon. I do not have any children, and I'm living with my father. Together, we have two dogs, (one his, and the other mine), a garage cat (his), and a bearded dragon (mine). His dog is a German Shepard named Wren, and mine is a Chihuahua named Milo. Additionally, I quit the job I've had for years, so I have a fairly flexible schedule. All of our animals have schedules for everything. Potty breaks, food times, etc. We keep it fairly strict, but also know how to read our animals, and so the schedule is subject to slight changes. I can adapt, and learn new schedules for clients.

About: Large Animal Science graduate, have completed the vet tech, dog grooming, and agility courses at BCAHS. Experience with diverse/exotic animal caretaking rolls, canine cpr certified, lots of experience with difficult dog breeds. My schedule with work is very flexible. Usually I tend to walk my dog for a 1-2 hours a day. It is extremely important that my dog Nala gets exercise each day to make sure she stays happy and healthy. Sometimes I also take my cat on the walks as well (he loves spending time outside with his sister with his harness and leash on!). Weekends have much more flexibility with my schedule. It is extremely important to make sure that any animal feels comfortable in their environment. Giving them the opportunity to take bathroom breaks and keeping pets on their normal schedule is very important. Giving pets access to fresh drinking water, specific foods, and medications as needed is also crucial. Providing proper exercise and mental enrichment only helps to further improve an animal’s experience in their surroundings as well.
