About: Whether your pet needs a playmate, extra exercise, or lots of love and cuddles, I’m here to provide attentive and reliable care. Experience with high energy breeds, farm animals, cats, giving medications. I work as a gardener Monday through Friday from 730-330 in the valley. I wake up early to exercise with your pet so they feel at ease while I am gone and adventures when I get back! I try to keep as normal a schedule as possible for your pet, I always scan the home for something that could harm your pet before leaving and check in often.
About: I have been around dogs in my neighborhood since I was little. I have pet-sitted for friends and neighbors for many years. I am happy to take dogs out on long walks around Jackson and come take care of pets and look over houses while you’re away on vacation! I work Wednesday-Saturday, so I have evenings and long weekends free to spend time taking care of pets and walking dogs. I love being outdoors just as much as they do and love to go on walks! Caring for pets in their own home is extremely important. I will make sure to keep up with their normal daily routine and follow all guidelines you provide when watching them so they feel comfortable.
“Abby was fantastic to work with and my senior cat was very comfortable with her. She took special care to know his routine and the house was spotless when I came home. Highly recommend!”
About: I have been caring for various pets for family, friends, neighbors, and strangers alike. I enjoy dogs the most, but have taken care of cats, lizards, snakes, and many plants as well. I have taken care of older dogs who have special requirments. I am free after 4:00pm most nights, although my schedule is subject to change. I often go to work ant 6:30am and return 4-5pm. Other needs can be discussed if necessary. I follow whatever the animal and the home needs. I believe in positive behavior learning, treats, and loving pets. I prefer to care for animals in the saftey of their own home while their loved ones are away. I expect the animals I care for be well trained...I do not want to feel scared around an untrained dog when their owners are not home.
About: I'm great with animals and will take good care of your pets. I've lived in Jackson for 6 years and grew up in Idaho. I work as massage therapist, do yoga, love hiking, reading, and traveling. I'm great with all sizes and shapes of dogs and hyper dogs do not bother me. I grew up with dogs and cats in Idaho and have been pet sitting for 2 years now. I am trustworthy and can watch your animals long term if you need me to. I also babysit children and have been doing that for about 15 years now, so if you ever need me to do both I can do that. Feel free to trust me with your animals and children, I will take good care of them
“While experiencing a flight travel delay returning home from a trip and my current dog sitter being unavailable I appreciated the response time and willingness to help out my pup for a potty break and brief activity while I made my way home. Thank you!! I will definitely be a repeat customer”

“Carlyann was able to watch my kitten on a short notice appointment and I couldnt be ever more thankful! Her space is very clean, well kept, and safe for any pet. I would call her in a heartbeat again at any point in the future for her services.”
About: Since the day I was born, I've always had a pet in my life. Big and small dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, you name it! I've even been a helping hand on my dad's farm with goats, chickens and ducks. Now that I'm living on my own, I miss having a pet so dearly, which truly makes me want to spend time with YOUR pets. I am responsible, communicative, caring, and trustworthy. I am happy to build longer term, recurring relationships or help you out in a more casual, one-time manner. Either way, your pet will be in reliable hands! I have quite a bit of free time during the week with a flexible work-life balance. My schedule depends on what service you're looking for, but I am typically available early mornings, midday, and evenings after 6pm. Pet sitting: I understand that staying in your house takes a deep level of trust. I have dog sat in many people's houses and always treat their property with the utmost respect. I treat your home and belongings the way I want my home and belongings to be treated! Dog Walking: If your dog has specific commands or training style, I'm happy to work with them on this during our walks. Distance and length is up to you.. I'm accommodating!

About: Current full-time veterinary technician here in Jackson! I’ve been a vet tech for 7 years, with about 6 of those years working in an ER/ICU setting. I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats with all kinds of medical needs, including administering oral medications, injections, subcutaneous fluids, and other treatments. Whether your pet needs medication, a quick potty break, a walk, or simply some extra love and attention while you’re away, I’m happy to help! My goal is to make sure you and your pet feel comfortable and confident while you’re apart. 🐾 I work full time as a vet tech. I work four 10 hour shifts a week. I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. As a veterinary technician, I’m also comfortable recognizing changes in behavior or health and knowing when something may need additional attention. Most importantly, I treat every pet like they’re my own! 🐾
“Julie was perfect! She was very prompt with her responses. She arrived on time and followed instructions thoroughly, & although my dachshunds have a lot of anxiety, they were calm and comfortable enough to go for a short walk with Julie. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy.”

“Bree was an absolute pleasure to work with! My schedule kept changing and she was available and able to accommodate all the time changes! I didn’t worry about my girls at all while on vacay near Jackson Hole.”

“Visiting Jackson Hole and Claire was awesome. Pictures with each visit and our doodle enjoyed it to. Highly recommend Claire if you are in the area. We had tours booked and we had piece of mind knowing we had booked with Claire.”

About: I am a trustworthy, reliable, and caring animal lover. I am also very conscientious of each home I am in and treat it with the respect and care I do my own. I am currently pet sitting full time while taking continuing education. I am flexible in my schedule. I can work days, nights, and weekends. I take my classes online so I am mobile. If needed, I can be with your pet most of the day and night. I care for your pets in the security of their own home or/and take them on walks in their neighborhood. I can also take them out on dog friendly trails if preferred. I meet them in the environment they feel most comfortable.
About: My family always has pets ranging from tarantulas to rabbits to macaws to dogs and cats. I’ll have my own pet one day, but for now I am loving meeting all of the dogs and cats in the valley! I work from home, and I love taking breaks to take walks and go on adventures with the various dogs I’ve gotten to know. I feel lucky to be able to live in such a beautiful place and spend time outside with puppies! My house borders open space with lots of trails to explore. I have lived in Jackson on and off for 10 years, so I’m very familiar with all of the dog-friendly areas to frolic in.
About: As a dedicated pet lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds, I understand the importance of providing a safe, fun, and loving environment for your companion. I’ve been here for over 2 years so I know the area well & am able to get around to pretty much any nearby areas to care for your furry friend! It also gives me a chance to get outdoors during the day so I really enjoy getting outside for walks! To create a trusting environment for a pet while their owner is away, I make sure to stick to their routine as much as possible—feed them at the same times, take them for walks, and keep their playtime consistent. Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
