About: Hello pet parents of wonderful pups and kitties of all shapes and sizes! 🐾 My name is Alexa, and I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life: dogs, cats, and even jellyfish (yes, really - I used to care for them in a marine biology research lab during my undergraduate at Penn State!). I've personally owned three dogs and three cats over the years, including my current family pets: a sweet German Shepherd named Willow and a spunky tortoiseshell cat, Hazel. I’ve cared for pets both big and small, from a 100-pound shepherd to a tiny 17-year old yorkie named Harley. As a remote project manager in kidney disease research, I have the flexibility to provide consistent, responsive care. In 2023, I spent extended periods of time in Virginia caring for the sweetest pets, Ellie (a golden retriever) and Harley (the yorkie), and I regularly help friends and family with pet care. Since I’m staying put in Pennsylvania for the next few months, I’ve decided to officially open up my availability on Rover again! I’m also an avid hiker and trail runner, so if your dog has energy to burn, I’m more than happy to help with that! Whether your pet enjoys long walks, quiet companionship, or a structured routine, I’m happy to adjust to their style and needs. I’m available for drop-in visits, dog walking, and cat care. I do not offer boarding or care in my own home at this time. I’m comfortable with senior pets and pets who need a little extra TLC. As a project manager, I understand how important communication is. I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and loved. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! I am a full-time remote project manager, so I have a relatively flexible routine. My meetings are mostly from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET, but I have the availability to step outside to take a walk, feed animals, etc.. I take safety, trust, and respect very seriously when caring for pets in a client’s home. While living on my own in Virginia, I cared for two dogs, one of whom was a senior with special needs, for extended periods, treating their home as if it were my own. I maintain a clean and calm environment, follow all care instructions closely, and make sure pets feel secure and loved in their familiar space. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I make sure to familiarize myself with local veterinary clinics, emergency contacts, and any specific care instructions before starting any visit. I believe preparation is key to providing dependable, responsible care, and I’m always just a message away with updates and photos to keep you in the loop.

Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, give medication, bathe, and love their pets and to safeguard their home while away. I can entertain and care for the fluffiest GIANT dogs but your cats, rats, and ferrets will be given just as much love. My schedule is currently quite flexible. About: I had a dog all through my teenage years, ages 7-19. I also have helped taken care of my friends and families pets to walk, feed and play with them. I am currently working full time but still have plenty of time to take care of your dog! My work schedule isn’t a typical M-F so please feel free to talk to me so we can work out the best time! Your dog will never be unsupervised and there are no other pets in my home. I do have an open yard that depending on each dog, we can play there!

About: I’m a full time certified veterinary technician! So I have experience with all different breeds, ages, and personalities of dogs and cats! Before going to college, I would often pet sit for family and friends when needed. Because of my job, I know how to give medications, injections, trim nails, express anal glands, etc. I have a B.S. in veterinary nursing and recently passed the state board to become certified. I have 3 Australian Cattle Dogs - Bentley, Beau, and Scout. And also 3 cats - Josie, Luca, and Finn! I currently work full time during the week. I have off on Tuesdays and weekends. I could easily stop in after work other days during the week however. I’m more than willing to take the time to leash walk all dogs in the house if you don’t have a fenced in yard. About: I have been caring for dogs my whole life! I have raised, cared for, and trained all types of dogs from teacup Pomeranians to Great Danes. I’ll treat your fur baby like one of my own❤️ I am a dog mama myself and I know how important it is to know that your fur baby is in good hands while you’re away. I am available most weekdays from 9-5pm but I’m pretty flexible. If there is a specific date you are interested in feel free to ask me! I am able to play with your pet indoors or outdoors per request. I am able to spend time with your pet as well in addition to feeding or caring for them. It is important to me that your furry friend has a great experience as well while you’re away. About: I adopted my first dog, Fox, when he was 8 weeks old back in 2016. I adopted my second dog, Dana, back in 2019 from a rescue center in Benton PA. Dana was displaced in a hurricane in South Carolina, and was brought to PA by the rescue. I am passionate about all animals, especially dogs, and absolutely love every dog I meet. Everywhere I go, if there is a dog, you better believe I’m going to ask to give it some love! I volunteer at the rescue in Benton, and have also donated to other local shelters in the past. I currently work from home and am able to do drop in visits throughout the day. Every other week, my dogs are with their dad (we share custody) so for a week at a time I can care for dogs in my home 24/7. My pets are with me all day unless I am at one of my children’s sporting events. My dogs are taken out about 5 times a day for potty time and walks. I have an outdoor kennel, a 12 foot lead, and will soon have a fenced in yard. My dogs are always on a leash for safety as I live right on a state road.

About: I have had pets since I was a child that included dogs, cats, and various hamsters. I loved caring for them even at an early age. I started working on a horse farm at age 10 that included caring for horses and sheep. I am responsible and dependable. I own a farm with my husband where we have animals of our own including goats, sheep, and horses. I have boarded dogs in my home many times. I also travel and stay in clients homes. About: I’ve taken care of dogs every kind for 10+years. Friends, families, neighbors they have all relied on me to take care of their pets and still it’s really not like a job but a dream. I currently don’t work , so I am available literally 24 seven to take care of pets of all kinds except Sundays but text or call at anytime.
