Initially, I was a bit nervous about dropping off my 8 month old pup, Blue, just because I wasn't entirely sure how he would do in a new environment without me and other dogs present. Blue settled in super fast and had the best day! Alex was reassuring and sent updates throughout the day with pictures and videos that were so appreciated. Blue was in awesome hands and I'm so grateful he had fun with new friends, lots of space to run around, and an awesome caregiver in Alex and his family. Blue can't wait to return and I feel so grateful to have a trusted and safe home for my pup when we need to be apart. Thank you, Alex!”

“We were passing through town and needed daycare for our chihuahua. Shihong took Peanut on short notice, picked her up to take her on a walk around the block with his dog, Cotton, and reported back that things were going well! Peanut had a couple accidents in the house and he was unfazed. He was diligent about socializing her to his dog and by the end of the day they were snuggled in the crate together. Wish we could bring Peanut to Shihong every day! Highly recommend.”

About: My first rescue was a mixed breed puppy for our family. She died after 17 years of filling our hearts with joy. My second rescue was also a mixed breed puppy. She is very affectionate and energetic. I have watched dogs for my family and neighbors on multiple occasions. I have a huge yard with a pond for running and swimming and there is always lots of snuggles and love inside. I work remotely 4 out of 5 weekdays. On the day I go into the office, my husband has the flexibility to stop in several times to walk the dog around the back yard and hand out treats. Safety is the number one concern and I would always have your dog leashed outside. Inside they would have plenty of space for play and rest .

About: I am a lifelong rescuer of dogs and cats...I have raised puppies, adopted senior dogs, and adopted six dogs from shelters in the last 25 years. Most of my dogs and I had basic training classes together. I love walking dogs, playing with them, and caring for them in general...and i am excellent at bathing and medicating pups of all ages....even the reluctant ones! I like to be outdoors, so I am happy to walk and play with the dogs in my care outside at least 3 times a day.. I work from home, so I am generally available, weekdays and weekends. I am flexible about scheduling, and I welcome long term stays. I am also happy to accept last minute requests. I own my home...I don't have a fenced yard, but will walk my dog guests frequently, as i do like to be outdoors...I enjoy having dogs in my home, and spending lots of time with them. They are welcome on the furniture and to sleep on the bed..

I am home all day except for quick errands I have raised and trained Brittany spaniels, Golden retrievers, and Siberian huskies. About: I have been lucky enough to spend time with dogs of a range of ages, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to sweet senior pups who need a slower pace and a gentle touch. I also pay close attention to behavior and body language, so I can respond quickly if something seem off. But most importantly, I make sure that they're safe and happy, while waiting for their favorite person to come back to them. My schedule is flexible and I can work from home, which means I can dedicate quality time to walks, play, feeding, and companionship without rushing. Whether I'm welcoming pets into my home or caring for them in their own space, I always focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment. I live in a quiet apartment surrounded by forest and green space, with very little car traffic in the neighborhood, which is perfect for peaceful walks and outdoor sniff time. At my place, I maintain a clean and cozy space with plenty of room for your doggie or kitty to lounge, play, or nap. In your home, I'll respect the privacy and cleaness of your space. I will follow your care instructions closely, from feeding routines to medication schedules and favorite toys, because I know how important familiarity and consistency is to their happiness.

About: I have been caring for our furry friends for as long as I can remember. Since I was a teenager, I would watch 2 Yorkies for a family friend where they would stay with me in my family's home and receive plenty of cuddles, play and outdoor time for potty breaks. From that point on, I have watched dogs for family and friends within their homes or in my home for years. Whatever special requirements your pup may have, I can meet their needs and ensure they receive extra pampering and cuddles for the time they are away from you. I have cared for puppies in the process of being crate trained, potty trained and wee wee pad trained. I have also cared for senior dogs who need daily medications administered, have challenges with arthritis or losing sight. Whatever stage your fur baby is in, I can care for them at that stage. I know how important it is to know that your furry family member is being cared for and loved just as much you would is a great relief. Knowing your fur baby will be in the most loving and capable hands allows you to go about your daily routines or go on vacations with your mind at ease. I am currently staying at home and have availability most days and weekends. I have 1 dog at home who gets along very well with all dogs, big and small alike. I have a spacious home with plenty of space for dogs to curl up and cuddle or soak in some sun warmth. Additionally, I have a fenced in yard for getting out and getting the zoomies out when needed. Multiple walks a day 2-3x (depending on day care, or if boarding more, and individual dog's needs) to the nearby park.

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and family members dogs growing up. We adopted a senior pit during the pandemic who is the sweetest dog ever. I am a teacher available to walk or care for your pet during the summer while on break! I am about to go on summer vacation from school so my schedule is going to open up. I am available most weekends and during the day. I have the friendliest pitbull in the world. We live in a quiet neighborhood. I have two levels of our house with a baby gate if you’d rather keep your dog separate. We love to go on walks!

About: I've had years of experience caring animals as a pet sitter, veterinary technician,shelter volunteer as well as pet mom to many fuzzy, scaly, and feathered friends. I'm a mother of school aged children and I have a very flexible schedule including day,evening,and weekend hours. Short notice requests can usually be accomodated. I'm very comfortable reading animal body language. I have a very people/dog friendly dog who loves to join in on a walk if your dog would like the company.
