We go over everything from vet contact info, to the everyday things- food, exercise, the chasing of squirrels. :) Schedule is tailored to your munchkins needs. About: Dogs are my great addiction. I've owned dogs and walked and trained them all my life, but until I settle into my next job, I can't have a dog of my own again, so I'm petsitting and walking dogs for extra “dog time.” I have trained dogs for decades and now I also walk dogs at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter. in the past, I assisted a vets, once in the mobile spay/neuter clinic in the Navajo Nation, and in a few other instances with wildlife rehab and injured animals. I kept all my own dogs into old age and love senior dogs. With my family I raised 2 litters of Shepherd puppies, and Ive fostered mothers and puppies at my home. I work part-time and online, and can fit my schedule around your dog, cat or housesitting needs. I'm an early riser and love to be outdoors in any weather so you never have to worry that your pet's schedule will be interrupted. Your home is as important to me as your animal family and both will receive loving care and attention from me. I've cared for many homes in New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado and have excellent references from clients, neighbors and friends to share.
About: What can I say, I love dogs!!! Iv'e been around dogs my whole life, beginning with my Husky that loved chaperoning me around our backyard when I was a baby. I'm very grateful to have the experience with a dog since youth! I was raised around other animals too, bunnies, mice, and hamsters. Lol but I bond especially well with dogs. I hope to make new memories with your pet if you choose me! I am flexible and willing to work around your dogs schedule and my own. We can work something out to meet both our needs of course. My house is in a safe and quiet neighborhood right across the street from Frenchy Field. Rest assured that they will be cared for as if they were my own while having the comfort and familiarity of your home, or the tons of fun that goes on at my place. I love all dogs unconditionally. I can provide a much smaller pack environment for your dog rather than a kennel where there could be 50 dogs at a time. Yikes!! My daily routine revolves around my pack needs. Our routine is generally foods, walks, parks, poops, pees, plays, sleeps, repeat…. Everything from simple walks and feeding to extended stays at my place or yours, it sounds like fun to me. I have a full time best friend and dog named Spreckles who is pretty close to perfect. His nickname is Sprex. He is Hawaiian, so naturally he is very friendly and mellow with tons of Aloha. My number one priority is pack safety. I follow a daily routine and consistent schedule with my pack. Our day always starts with a nice walk to a nearby park. I use my own custom made leash system that I can walk many dogs at the same time, safely and securely. When we’re not out walking or at the park we do a lot of chilling and hanging out around our house and fenced in yard. I promote the pack mentality among my dogs as I am always their pack leader who ensures their safety and protection all the time. I’m glad to use your dog’s crate at my house whenever I am not home if needed (not typical). Sometimes I take the pack out on planned field trips, usually afternoons and weekends, to various places throughout the area. Frenchy Park is right across the street from my house and super fun for the pups. I treat and protect each dog as if they were my own and love them all unconditionally. FYI, I don’t introduce my pack to other dogs that we don’t know, to avoid any unwanted drama and to keep everyone safe. New dogs really shouldn’t be introduced while on leashes anyway. I speak the language of dogs and am confident around them always. I am always their alpha who provides a fun and safe space for my pack.
