About: Dogs are my great addiction. I've owned dogs and walked and trained them all my life, but until I settle into my next job, I can't have a dog of my own again, so I'm petsitting and walking dogs for extra “dog time.” I have trained dogs for decades and now I also walk dogs at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter. in the past, I assisted a vets, once in the mobile spay/neuter clinic in the Navajo Nation, and in a few other instances with wildlife rehab and injured animals. I kept all my own dogs into old age and love senior dogs. With my family I raised 2 litters of Shepherd puppies, and Ive fostered mothers and puppies at my home. I work part-time and online, and can fit my schedule around your dog, cat or housesitting needs. I'm an early riser and love to be outdoors in any weather so you never have to worry that your pet's schedule will be interrupted. Your home is as important to me as your animal family and both will receive loving care and attention from me. I've cared for many homes in New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado and have excellent references from clients, neighbors and friends to share.

About: Hello I'm Madeline, and I'm here to care for your pet just as I do for my own! I love cats and dogs alike, and have taken care of many different breeds and personality types over the years. I've yet to find any pet that I can't handle! Your pets will be loved and cared for so you don't have to worry while you are away :) For Boarding: I live on 5 acres of a wonderful pinon paradise, where your dog(s) can play and hike to their heart's content! I take my own pup for 3 walks a day, so yours will get plenty of exercise. And if they don't mind the car, I'm happy to take them to parks and longer hikes if you like! They can sleep in their own bedroom or in a fully furnished cosy workshop if they prefer. I work from home so will give them my full attention 24/7. I pay very close attention to any specific needs for diet, behavior, or whatever special instructions you give. I love to send photos and updates as often as you like, so you can see they are happy and healthy! If it's drop-in visits only, I give my full attention to playing, hugging, entertaining your pets the entire time I'm there. I hate leaving my pets behind while I travel, so I know how to ensure other owners that their pets are cared for as if they were my own :) I currently work my own schedule so can be flexible with whatever your pets needs may be. If they are boarding in my home, they will have 24/7 attention. I own 5 acres with a good portion fenced in if staying at my home. I love energetic hikes and walks and will cater to your dog's fitness level. I take my own cat outdoors on a harness and would be happy to train yours too! Whatever level of care your pet is accustomed to, I will deliver the same while they are in my care.

About: I’ve cared for dogs since I was ten years old. Have raised puppies into adult dogs. From walking, feeding, to overnights, canines are a huge part of my life I’m a creative consultant who recently finished my MFA at Columbia University who is interested in fresh air and furry friends when he’s not working I have a fenced in yard to care for your dog overnight and neighbors who are dog lovers too. I’m also willing and able to care for your pet in your home

About: Look no further!! I’m the answer to all your dog’s needs… I respond very quickly, so please reach out. Let’s do a meet and greet ASAP!! Please read my profile and be sure to check out my photo gallery where you’ll see what kind of fun that we have on a daily basis. My reviews should give you an idea of what to expect when you book with me. I will send tons of pictures and videos every day. Headed out of town?? I’d love to stay with your dogs and create a seamless stress free opportunity for you to get away. Or we can all stay at my place with AC, a fenced in yard, and many neighborhood parks nearby. My house is in a safe and quiet neighborhood right across the street from Frenchy Field. Rest assured that they will be cared for as if they were my own while having the comfort and familiarity of your home, or the tons of fun that goes on at my place. I love all dogs unconditionally. I can provide a much smaller pack environment for your dog rather than a kennel where there could be 50 dogs at a time. Yikes!! I only accept dogs from one to two owners at a time so please plan ahead as I may get booked very quickly. This ensures that I can give your dogs the attention and care that they deserve. My daily routine revolves around my pack needs. Our routine is generally foods, walks, parks, poops, pees, plays, sleeps, repeat…. I am flexible and can accommodate pretty much any type of needs for your pets. I am ready to come care for your pets whenever I am available. Everything from simple walks and feeding to extended stays at my place or yours, it sounds like fun to me. I have a full time best friend and dog named Spreckles who is pretty close to perfect. His nickname is Sprex. He is Hawaiian, so naturally he is very friendly and mellow with tons of Aloha. My number one priority is pack safety. I follow a daily routine and consistent schedule with my pack. Our day always starts with a nice walk to a nearby park. I use my own custom made leash system that I can walk many dogs at the same time, safely and securely. When we’re not out walking or at the park we do a lot of chilling and hanging out around our house and fenced in yard. I promote the pack mentality among my dogs as I am always their pack leader who ensures their safety and protection all the time. I’m glad to use your dog’s crate at my house whenever I am not home if needed (not typical). Sometimes I take the pack out on planned field trips, usually afternoons and weekends, to various places throughout the area. Frenchy Park is right across the street from my house and super fun for the pups. I treat and protect each dog as if they were my own and love them all unconditionally. FYI, I don’t introduce my pack to other dogs that we don’t know, to avoid any unwanted drama and to keep everyone safe. New dogs really shouldn’t be introduced while on leashes anyway. I speak the language of dogs and am confident around them always. I am always their alpha who provides a fun and safe space for my pack.

About: Hello! I hope that this finds you well and excited for your time away. I grew up with three dogs in the house. One was a full sized doberman and the other two toy poodles. As a teenager, I fell in love with horses and went to horse camp every summer to augment the riding lessons that I took during the school year. I brushed them, rode, them mucked out their stalls and turned them out. As an adult, I became the loving, warm furniture for three cats and a dog and I also had more opportunities to be with horses. I have been a pet and house sitter in the past for friends and friends and family friends for their cats and dogs. In my travels and since becoming a professional house/pet sitter, I've learned to care for and milk goats, avoid protective roosters but still care for their flock of laying hens, and just how much personality a bunny rabbit can have. Cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, fish, horses, goats, and donkeys- oh, my! I am a lover of pets and their more wild family members. I'm the sort who gives them all nicknames about two minutes after I've met them. I meet them by letting them come to me and letting them set the pace. I don't push to make a relationship and always use the commands set by their owners making sure that they are followed. I intend to respect all beings as beings and not just as animals. Pet and house sitting allows me the opportunity to travel and more opportunities to focus on my writing. I'm rather quite/peaceful in my lifestyle and manor. I get along with most people because I believe that we should all be treated with respect and dignity while having good personal boundaries as well. Thank you for your time. If I've not spoken to your questions about me, please feel free to contact me and I'll be glad to supply you with the information you seek as well as from the long and short term sits that I've completed. I hope that you find the best sitter for your needs. Take good care. *Please allow me 24 hours to respond to any message. If your need is urgent, please begin your message with this and I'll do what I can to respond in kind. Once I'm your paid sitter, I do respond promptly. *Live and work in Las Vegas, NM? Ask me about my income based, Las Vegas, NM specific rates.* I currently work mostly from home but sometimes pick up two to three shifts outside the home. Work outside the home can be limited to the hours that you require that I remain in the home. As you can see from the pictures, working from home usually is done on the couch or bed (if you allow this) with your/my snuggle buddy(s). Too, my work schedule gives me plenty of time to play with them as well as go on walks and any other care and feedings. I offer email, phone, text, video/video call (provided your internet will allow for me to send video/video call/pictures) contact options and will gladly send updates as often as twice daily. I always stick to the prescribed feedings and care schedules for your pet(s) and home. I never feed pets human food nor treats unless that's part of your outlined care and only when allowed. I do best when it comes to watering plants if you give me detailed instructions. I'm comfortable shoveling or blowing snow and mowing (very basic- no patterns) as needed provided you give me a walk through of your tools. I do prefer to arrive with enough time for you to give me a tour of your home though a walk through on video call works just as well for me. I'm not the type to snoop- you'll find nothing disturbed in your home but the areas in which I'm allowed. I'm generally tidy and always do a light cleaning before I leave. If I do sit for an extended, 2 month+, stay, I do a deeper clean while I'm in your home as well - dusting, vacuuming and mopping, moving easy for me to move furniture to clean under and behind. Please leave your home the way you wish to find it when you return.

About: Hello! I am 21 years old and have owned no less than 3 dogs at a time for my entire life. I currently own dogs, a cat, and a few different reptiles. I’ve been working a full-time job for the past 3 years at a doggy daycare where I was the manager as well. I recently decided to leave the doggy daycare industry and create my own animal care business. I have open availability and am ready to meet and care for your family members now! Because I recently left a full-time management job in the doggy daycare industry, I have open availability, although I expect to fill up quickly. I can stay overnight, offer daily feedings and walks, walks or dog park visits only, or whatever your family might need. I am also available for other housesitting tasks like plant watering and home care as part of my offerings. I am available to stay at your house for extended periods of time and also take your pup/s on walks, I am a licensed trainer here in New Mexico so if you would like training, I am happy to do that as well! Working at a daycare has given me lots of experience with routine: feeding, playtime, medical care, etc. Any critters are a friend to me! :)

Rowan M.
“One of our dogs was old and has now passed away, but while he was alive, Rowan would take him to his physical therapy and vet appointments and take him for short walks a few times a week with our other dog. She housesat for us a few times, and we found her to be excellent in every way. Our dogs were happy and well-adjusted when we returned and didn't do their usual sulking around to "punish" us for leaving them. I would trust my dogs and home to Rowan completely!”
