“Meena is always beyond amazing with both of our animals. She gives our needy cat all the love he could possibly hope for, and our introverted dog is completely smitten with her! I cannot give enough praise for how much love and care she provides”

About: I was an animal shelter volunteer for a little over 7 years! I am very comfortable around all types of animals, poop etc. doesn’t bother me either! I think a person watching your animals shouldn’t just “watch” them but spend quality time with them! It can be scary for animals being left with an unfamiliar face so making the experience as enjoyable as possible ensures that they will be more comfortable next time! I am a college student but thankfully all my classes are online! I don’t typically prefer weekends but if needed then I will be there! I am free 90% of the time! For the cats I have plenty of scratch posts and things they can play with. I also have cats of my own they love making friends! For dogs, I have a smaller crate, secluded areas if that’s what they need. they are allowed on couches and the bed if they want to go that route! Animals will show clear signs of discomfort and my responsibility is to listen and adhere to that
About: I have been caring for friends and families dogs for about 5 years. I absolutely love all my friends fur babies as if they were my own! I am available daily from 8-1. I drive a school bus so this is something I can do between my routes. I also am available most nights to STN with your babies Unfortunately, my fur kitties do not doggies like I do so I am always able to take care of your babies at your home so that they can stay in their atmosphere. I play with the pups and even take them for walks!!
“Was my first time ever using rover and Tara was an absolute gem! Gave me daily updates about my boy and let me know some concerns she had. She even remembered I gave him pancakes on Saturday mornings and brought him some. Could not ask for a better dog sitter, absolutely went above and beyond! I think my Zeus was disappointed when she didn’t come through the door. Will definitely rebook her in the future.”

About: I’ve been a certified animal lover since birth, but I started putting in the work started when I was around 6 years old. I’ve had family members ranging from tea-cup poodle puppies and an elderly Great Dane, to hedgehogs, guinea pigs, and cockatiels. I’d love to make it my duty to care for your fur (or fur-less) baby like I would my own! I’m currently a college student, so my availability begins at 3:30pm Monday and Wednesday, 12pm Tuesday Thursday, and 1pm on Friday, though I am willing to be flexible and communicate a more thorough schedule! I would love to follow any specific instruction's given and take the time to give the pet any extra attention needed to make our time together the most comfortable.

About: I’ve taken care of all types of pets for as long as I can remember. Have always, and will always, have pets. Animals are my thing. I’ve got kennel experience, former pet store associate, and I currently work in a grooming salon. There’s no reason why I am not the best fit to care for your fur baby(s)! I feel something is missing in my life if I’m not caring for animals daily! It’s what I live for. My dog is literally my other daughter. Insuring the safety and comfort of the pet(s) at all times. I follow instructions, and always try to give as much feedback as possible.
“This was the first time we used Kathleen. She did a great job. It gave us peace of mind while we were visiting our son and daughter. To be at the birth of our first grandson. Thank you, Kathleen.”
“Christina did such a great job! I knew coco my pug was well cared for and she sent me pictures and updates. I will ask her to watch coco again and highly recommend! She also left my house spotless! Thank you!!!”

“We are so grateful for Emily’s willingness to house sit and take care of our pets over the Christmas holiday. We hate leaving our two dogs and cat, but knowing that Emily was here with them made it so much easier on us. Emily was super fun to work with and we will definitely ask her back in the future.”

“This is probably the fifth time that Ashlyn has watched our three year old golden retriever in our home. She’s just the best!! Our dog adores her, and we have total peace of mind when we’re out of town that she’s being loved and well cared for. Thank you, Ashlyn!”

About: I have had pets in my life since I was 10 years old. It has ranged from cats and dogs to sugar gliders and hamsters. I work a full time job as a teacher but I am able to stay overnight to care for your babies. I have four dogs and three cats at my home I have loved animals for my entire life. I treat them as they are little humans. I love to go out and play fetch with my youngest dog. I love giving my cats the attention they need and want.

“Sara did a terrific job taking care of our dog and cat. She kept us updated on how they were doing and didn’t hesitate to ask questions if she needed information on how to provide the best care. Thank you, Sara.”

“Hannah was a fantastic sitter! This was our first time using Rover and the first time we left our dog in the care of someone else, but everything went very well. I had to attend a wedding and would be out of the house pretty much all day. Hannah even offered to show up a little ahead of when I needed her. She was very friendly and personable, and right off the bat, our dog was comfortable with her. When I came back late in the evening, it was clear that he enjoyed spending the day with Hannah. We were grateful for her help and will definitely be calling her again when we need a sitter!”

“Marilyn was great - regular updates and pics! The dogs seem to love her. Kept the house nice and washed up the sheets and blanket before leaving. Good choice for me - I’m very satisfied.”

About: My sister and I fostered all types of dogs and cats through the Greater Birmingham Humane Society since 2020. Since I have moved to Calera, I now assist locally with CHILTON County TNR. As of now, I take care of 2 dogs and 2 cats, which were all rescues. Im currently working Mondays through Fridays, which allows for free weekends to help out with your fur babies! I also have availability in the evenings of the week, just ask me about specific times! I have a big fenced in backyard with some big trees that allow some good shade. There is also a back porch with an awesome fan because we all get hot in this Alabama heat. I have 2 friendly dogs that can help your dog get some energy out or they can be separated by crates which I can provide, depending on your preference.
“Sarah was so great with our pups!! She made sure they were taken care of and happy, and most importantly she loved on them while we were gone! I was never nervous while she was watching them because I knew they were in great hands (and I’m an anxious pet owner who has never let anyone but family and friends watch our dogs). I would book her again and I would recommend her to all of my friends and family who have pets. Thank you so much, Sarah, for taking such amazing care of our fur babies while we were gone!!”

About: I’ve worked in a veterinary clinic as a vet tech in training, but what truly matters is my love for animals. From bouncy puppies to gentle seniors, I care for every pet like they’re my own—making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while keeping you updated along the way. Caring for pets is a natural part of my day. As someone with hands-on veterinary clinic experience and training, I’m comfortable building pet care into a structured routine—whether that means morning walks, feeding schedules, or evening cuddle time. Since I’m currently in school, my schedule is flexible, which allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve throughout the day. For me, pet care isn’t an “extra task”—it’s something I love and look forward to. When I’m in a client’s home, I care for pets the same way I would in my own—lovingly and with respect for your space. I follow your instructions closely, from feeding and walks to playtime and routines, so your pet feels safe and comfortable. I keep things tidy, double-check doors and gates, and always treat your home with care. My goal is to make sure you come back to a happy pet and a home just the way you left it.
