“I needed a last minute pet sitter for my new puppy. I hadn’t left him alone before so I was quite nervous, but Sabrina eased any worries I might have by updating me regularly and sending me the absolute cutest videos of my baby boy playing and getting cared for. She even made sure his bed was clean since he had a little potty accident. Waylon came back home happy and worn out! I never thought my boy would be relaxed. I recommend Sabrina for detailed care for your furry babies ❤️ thank you and will be back again”

“I could tell Toffee had a great time at Summer’s place because of the way she stared at her from the car as Summer was walking back to her house. Summer is very kind and thoughtful when caring for our girl, who has big strong puppy energy. She sent a lot of update photos. We will definitely use her again. Thank you Summer!”

About: Hi! I’m transitioning my career (from working in the entertainment industry) into a focus on pet care after a lifetime of loving and living with dogs. For the past 30 years, dogs have been an essential part of my daily life and currently, I share my home with a sweet senior pug who gets physical therapy weekly. Their comfort, health, and happiness are always my top priority. I have much experience dealing with their different ailments. Over the years, I’ve cared for friends’ dogs and cats, and I’ve found true joy in giving them the attention and affection they deserve. I've also received care from a Rover sitter for my own dog for 2 years. I know how uneasy it can be contacting a stranger. I’m detail-oriented, highly safety-conscious, and most importantly reliable and trustworthy. When your fur baby is with me, you can feel completely at ease. I’m currently welcoming just a few clients for repeated in-home daycare to ensure each dog gets plenty of love and individualized care. My home is senior-dog friendly with yoga mats and ramps/soft pet steps, a fenced-in yard, and a calm, quiet environment. I am able to provide boarding for your pup if you are going out of town. I can be interested to house sit at your home if I can bring my senior pup along. If you’re looking for a caring, dependable sitter who will treat your pet like family, I’d love to connect. I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully becoming part of your dog’s extended pack! I am looking to make pet care my main focus after September. Until then all available booking dates will be indicated on my Rover calendar. My home is designed with senior dogs in mind, fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and the inside is mobility friendly with yoga mats, dog ramps, and stairs to help pups get around comfortably and safely. I make it a priority to discourage jumping off furniture to protect their joints. My own senior pug is sweet, social, and would love to make some gentle new friends. I’d be happy to provide a calm, cozy, and caring environment for your pup!

“Willard and Kimberly took such good care of my pup. They are so kind and caring, and asked me lots of questions about my dog to make sure he was well cared for. They also sent me lots of pics and gave me great updates!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 10 years old! When I was a teen, we had six dogs and eight cats, and most of them were rescues. We even had a Dalmatian that I trained for shows and I showed him! I love animals of all sizes and ‘ttudes. Friends and family all know they can rely on me to pet sit cause they know their dog will get spoiled with love and walks! Might be because my Chinese zodiac sign is the dog, but I feel a special kinship to the paw pals. Can’t wait to meet your special fur child! I’m available anytime during the week between 9am - 4pm for walks or daycare. Weekends will be considered on an individual basis. Drop me a line and we’ll figure out what works best! care for every pet like they’re my own—making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. I’ve got tried-and-true walking techniques that work great for dogs of all sizes, so whether they’re tiny or towering, they’ll be in good hands (and on a steady leash) with me. If your friends comes over for the day, my house is well secured with a front and backyard. No other animals currently living here.

“Liv was the first sitter I booked on Rover and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She took such good care of my dog Turner during daycare. Turner has separation anxiety, and Liv immediately knew how to make her feel safe and comfortable. She kept me in the loop with updates and photos, which really put my mind at ease. It’s so hard to find someone you fully trust with your dog, but Turner was in such good hands. I’m so glad we found Liv!”

About: 10 years of experience pet sitting, walking and training. Home-based with a dog-friendly yard, providing playtime, feeding, walks and overnight supervision in a relaxed home environment. I can make myself available at most times on weekdays , but generally have the most freedom in the afternoons and evenings. Weekends are usually fully available. I have a fenced yard that gets really good sunlight. Dog bowl stations are inside near the kitchen area. Upstairs can be blocked off by our gate for senior dogs or dogs with back issues i.e. IVDD, etc.

About: To be honest, I don’t think it’s important to be set apart from other sitters. I think it’s important to find the perfect match. There are plenty of great animals sitters out there, and in my view, the more the merrier. This is not a competition. The more qualified people willing to do their part there are, the better all of us are. Because it takes a village to care for our animals. I’ve worked as a dog sitter and rescuer long enough to know that this is a collective effort. I am not the only option, nor should I be. What I am, though, is part of the solution, and I am very proud of that. Any animal under my care will be well loved & well cared for. I have had dogs of my own for over 20 years, I have worked with cats & dogs for over 10 years, and I have been a foster for over 5 years. Nothing gives me more joy than to actively contribute to improving animals lives & our relationship to them. I work from home so the dogs will be supervised all day, with the exception of a few hours a week when I leave to run errands, or go to the gym, or go out for a coffee. And if I’m ever out of town, I simply won’t have any animals under my care except my own. My home has a fenced backyard with a tall wooden fence, and a fenced front yard with a shorter fence. These two spaces communicate, but if I close a door, they become completely separate spaces. Both yards have plenty of shade, but also sunlight for the sun lovers. The yards are easily connected to the house, so the dogs are never far from me, even when they’re outside. I keep the back door open all day, so the dogs can feel free to go in and out as they please. Some dogs even choose to sleep out on the backyard (it’s very cozy!). Others prefer to sleep in their crates, so I have a separate room just for the crates. Other dogs enjoy sleeping on the couch, so they’re welcome to do that too.

“Heather is the only person we trust to care for our dogs. We have adopted two tiny, special needs rescue dogs who came from not-so-great beginnings in life. They don’t trust easily. They both instantly took to Heather. You can tell she has a lot of experience with dogs. She takes the time to really bond with each pup. Every time they come back from a visit with Heather, they are so happy. We’re grateful to have a person who cares for our dogs as they would their own. Heather rocks!”
