About: I am a certified dog trainer with 7 years of pet care experience from rescues and small daycares to large boarding facilities. I love your pets like I love my own. I take extra care for the dogs that are on medications because I know how important they are having a dog with health problems. I am reliable, and trustworthy. I can walk your dogs morning (5-7) and afternoon (6-8) Monday through Friday. I work at my regular job from 8-4. And completely free on Saturdays and Sundays I can come to your home, and care for you pets whether its a drop in or walking them for a potty break and feed them while I am there.
“the sweetest and most responsible cat sitter ever. after forgetting to leave my key under the mat and asking my landlord to do it, Brianna made sure to swing back and check on my kitty and updated me the entire time. she’s honestly amazing and very responsive! highly highly recommend!”

“Katherine was such a life savor for my partner and I! We both work off shore and she has made it so easy for us to continue working and not have to sacrifice our babies in the mean time. She is so sweet and loving to our babies and her communications about them are amamzing! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!”

About: As a lifelong pet owner, I truly love spending time with dogs and cats (especially dogs!). I have boarded and sat with dogs of all ages and sizes for as short as an overnight stay to as long as several months. I also have experience with medical needs including injections and offer complimentary baths before they come home. Training is available upon request. ALL STAYS REQUIRE A CONSULTATION VISIT! This is to ensure that I understand how to best care for your animal. I am currently a stay at home pet mom and my husband typically works from home. I usually get up around 7:00 AM and feed our animals then spend the day with them at home or running errands. I am able to care for dogs in my home or in yours and care for cats ONLY in your home. We live in a single story house with a fenced in backyard and a doggy door. I require a consultation before boarding in our home and will invite you to come by, see the space, and let me know what times they eat, any medical needs, etc.
About: I’ve spent over 2 years volunteering at the Humane Society, caring for animals of all ages, breeds, and personalities from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. That hands on experiences taught me how to handle every kind of pet with patience, love, and attention to detail. As a Division I beach volleyball player I am active and reliable! Whether it’s medication routines or extra cuddles, I treat every pet like my own. As a full-time college student athlete I keep a busy but consistent schedule! Outside of my practice times, my days are flexible I always make time for the pets I care for! When caring for pets, my goal is to make them feel safe and loved just like they would with their own family. I always follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible such as feeding and potty breaks. I make sure to keep their space clean, give updates with photos, and respect your home as if it were my own. I tailor each walk to your dog’s needs. My experience at the Humane Society taught me how to read animal behavior and handle pets of all personalities so your furry friends are always in good hands!
“Emily did a great job! The photos she sent me when I was out of town demonstrated that my cats were relaxed and happy. She even got a picture of my very skittish kitty sitting on a rug and that was a major accomplishment! Everyone was well taken care of while I was out of town. I highly recommend Emily and I will use her the next time I’m out of town.”

“Catherine and Hannah were awesome! We used them for checking in on our cat and boarding our puppy. Lots of pictures and updates and we felt at ease while we were away. You can tell they truly love animals. Highly recommend!”

“Olivia was absolutely amazing with Whiskey and Selena! From the moment we met her, you could tell she genuinely cares about animals. She kept me updated throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind, and my dogs looked so happy and well cared when I got home. She was patient, attentive, and treated them like her own. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving to care for their pets!”

About: HOME AWAY FROM HOME – Luxury Cage-Free Dog Boarding & Personalized Pet Care A True Home Away From Home — No Kennels, Just Family. If your dog is used to the comfort of home, a traditional kennel can be stressful. I provide an exclusive, premium boarding experience where your furry family member is treated like one of my own. I only accept a limited number of guests at a time so every pup receives plenty of love, attention, and personalized care. What I Offer * 🏡 Cage-free home environment * 🌳 Large, secure fenced backyard for supervised play * 🛏️ VIP sleeping arrangements inside my home * 🚗 Park adventures and car rides (with owner approval) * 📸 Daily photo and video updates for your peace of mind * ❤️ Lots of cuddles, playtime, and one-on-one attention Every Dog is Different—I’m Prepared for That While my home is primarily cage-free, I understand that every dog has different needs. * If your dog is crate-trained or feels more secure sleeping in a kennel, I have a clean, comfortable kennel available. * I also have a separate fenced indoor area where dogs can enjoy their own quiet space if they prefer privacy, need a break from other dogs, are older, are anxious, or simply don’t get along with every dog. Whether your pup loves to socialize or enjoys having their own space, I can accommodate their individual personality and routine. My goal is always to make them feel safe, comfortable, and at home. For Cats – Safe, Calm & Separate Space I also care for cats, and I understand they have very different needs from dogs. For their comfort and safety, I have a dedicated separate room for cats where they can stay relaxed and stress-free. * 🐱 Private cat-only room (completely separate from dogs) * 🛏️ Cozy, quiet, and secure environment * 🌿 Space to relax, hide, and feel safe at their own pace * 🍽️ Feeding, litter care, and daily check-ins * ❤️ Gentle handling and calm environment for stress-free boarding This setup is perfect for cats who are shy, independent, or do not get along with dogs, ensuring they feel completely safe and undisturbed during their stay. My Experience I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 15 years. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is truly my passion. I keep pets on their regular routine by feeding them on schedule, providing daily walks, playtime, grooming, and administering medications when needed. If medication is required, I set reminders so every dose is given on time. Safety is always my top priority, whether we’re playing in the backyard, relaxing indoors, or going on a walk. My Love for Animals My love for animals goes far beyond pet sitting. Throughout my life, I’ve rescued, adopted, and fostered many animals in need. I’ve rescued abandoned puppies left in sacks, cared for abandoned mother dogs and their puppies, and saved kittens left in ditches. Seeing animals suffer has always broken my heart, so I’ve done everything I could to give them a second chance. Those experiences have shaped the way I care for every pet that stays with me. I treat each one with patience, kindness, and genuine love because I know they’re not “just pets”—they’re family. When your pet stays with me, they aren’t simply being boarded. They become part of my family until they’re back home with yours. No matter what kind of dog or cat you have—playful, shy, crate-trained, senior, energetic, or one who prefers their own space—I have a setup to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. A Note About My Rates ❤️ I understand that my rates may be higher than some other sitters, and I completely respect that every family has a budget. Please keep in mind that Rover includes service fees and takes a percentage of each booking, which is reflected in the overall price you see. My rates reflect the personalized, in-home care, limited number of guests, safe and secure environment, individual attention, and peace of mind I provide. Your pet isn’t simply staying at a boarding facility—they’re staying in my home, receiving the same love, attention, supervision, and care I give my own pets. When you choose me, you’re not just paying for a place for your pet to stay—you’re investing in someone you can trust to treat your furry family member like family while you’re away. ❤️🐾 My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, loved, comfortable, and in caring hands. I am currently unemployed and a stay home Mom so I have a lot of time to look after your pups. I am available everyday. I have a fenced yard where they can play and run around and 2 dogs to keep your fur baby company. A comfortable space inside the house, clean and quiet. Can do crate if needed or trained but I would love them to be free.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
