The dogs were happy (and surprisingly clean) when we came to pick them up. There’s plenty of room for the dogs to run around out back and I feel like Lauren gave them the same amount of love we would. Highly recommend!”

“We have never used a service such as Rover before, so when we got a puppy, we would a pet sitter from time to time. Denelle & Fred were fantastic! As we were not entirely sure about the service, they allowed us to meet prior to the pet sitting and let us have a good warm and fuzzy regarding letting them pet sit our dog Maisie. Drop off and pick up were easy and our puppy Maisie was well looked after! They are very nice people and have a great setup for watching dogs and we will hopefully use them again.”

About: Tucked away in the mountains, my off-grid home is more than just a boarding space—it’s a peaceful, nurturing retreat where both dogs and cats can feel safe, understood, and truly at home. I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by animals, and caring for them is second nature to me. Maybe it’s the Leo in me, but I’ve always been drawn to the independent, curious nature of cats, just as much as the loyalty and energy of dogs. I take the time to get to know each animal individually—their quirks, their comforts, and their communication style—because no two are the same. Whether they need adventure, structure, play, or just a quiet place to rest, I tailor their stay to what suits them best. My own pack includes two amazing dogs, both of whom I’ve raised since they were pups—an Australian Kelpie who thrives on activity and focus, and a Husky/Malamute mix who loves adventure just as much as I do. I also have two incredibly special cats, Face and Lilith. Face, my shadow and best friend, was once a wary barn cat who took 1.5 years to trust me. Now, he hikes with me and my dogs, showing an adaptability I’ve never seen in another cat. Lilith, my Hemingway cat, appeared as a tiny, helpless kitten in the woods and has since grown into a thriving, playful companion. Recently, I also took on the challenge of caring for and finding homes for 21 puppies all at once—an experience that reinforced my deep commitment to the well-being of every animal that comes into my care. For dogs, my home offers the perfect mix of adventure and comfort, with plenty of space to roam, explore, and play. For cats, I provide a dedicated, dog-free space downstairs, designed just for them, complete with padded, cloth-covered shelves, sunlit lounging spots, and plenty of enrichment to keep them engaged. Cats are never let outside unless specifically requested by their owner, ensuring their safety. Whether you have a dog who thrives on companionship and outdoor adventure or a cat who craves quiet comfort and personalized care, my home is a place where they will be loved, understood, and cared for like family. I do have a large fenced back yard which is behind expanded currently. Pet care isn’t just something I do—it’s fully integrated into my daily life. Living off-grid and working from home means I don’t have a traditional 9-to-5 schedule, so my time revolves around the animals in my care. From the moment I wake up, I’m tending to their needs—letting dogs out to stretch their legs in the fresh mountain air, preparing meals tailored to each pet, and making sure everyone feels comfortable and at ease. Throughout the day, I engage with them in ways that suit their personalities—whether it’s a long hike through the woods for high-energy dogs, quiet companionship for more relaxed pets, or interactive play for curious cats. Because I’m always home, no animal is ever left alone for long. I have the flexibility to adapt to their needs in real-time, whether it’s providing extra comfort for a nervous newcomer or giving an active pup the extra exercise they crave. At night, every pet settles in safely, knowing they are in a warm, loving environment. Caring for animals isn’t a job I clock in and out of—it’s simply my way of life. Exercise and outdoor time are a big part of my daily routine. I take my dog for runs or walks multiple times a day, exploring the beautiful mountain trails and giving them the movement they need. If your dog enjoys exercise and adventure, I’d be happy to include them in these outings, ensuring they get plenty of physical activity and enrichment. I understand disrupting your pets routine can be stressful for them and will do everything I can to make them feel happy, safe and well cared for. I never rush and always give pets all he time they need while I am there. Plus, I’m happy to water plants and anything else you need done for free. Along with caring for my pug and my cats - caring for others pets takes center stage during the day. I also enjoy getting to know pets and their owners in order to give excellent care. I understand keeping your pet safe is an incredible extension of trust. I am very careful when opening doors, am very aware of our surroundings when taking walks, and very careful doors are securely locked. Any special requests owners have, I am happy to abide. About: What sets me a part of the fact that I owned a vet rescue with as many as 45 cats and 25 dogs. Definitely under understand how to take care of cats and dogs. I currently am not working staying at home taking care of the home. I have plenty of time to care for animals. I have years and years of experience, taking care of animals since I did have a pet rescue at one time. I have two cats and two dogs. My environment is very pet friendly and safe. I previously owned a rescue which I had 45 cats and 21 dogs so I’m definitely capable of taking care of your sweet pet.

About: I have been working with dogs from the start of their puppy stages to adult ones as well. I enjoy working with dogs when they are around. I am self employed so I can fit them in anywhere into my schedule. I have a place that I can have them overnight if it’s an overnight booking as well. I would care for them as I do mine. I have a 6 month old puppy who gets along so well with other dogs and she is on a scheduled potty break session and is getting plenty of outside playtime as well.

About: I've been caring for all pet for 9 years. I am a vet tech just completed RVT schooling. I am responsible, caring, and trustworthy. I watch family pets all the time from dogs to cats to horses. I work at a veterinary hospital caring for pets 24/7 the last 9 years, I have managed hospitals before. I am very educated on all pets and very good handling them. I am able to feed, water them take them out to urinate and or bowel movement, I can administer oral medications and or injections regarding diabetics. Whatever the care is I can do it, clean a wound or scrap.

With my work experience working at an animal hospital I am able to give pets medication if needed and I offer other services too! I have a big home and have been recently fostering pets. All my fosters have found homes and currently have lots of space and free time. My house has a big back yard where your pets can run around and enjoy themselves I enjoy being around all sorts of animals. I understand the basic vaccinations, common diseases, and pet behavior.
