About: I'm retired with a dog who I got as a puppy and i have never left his side. He has been socialized and well behaved and a good role model for other dogs. Unlike my last dog, he enjoys playing with puppies. I am currently retired and have a flexible schedule. I take my dog out everyday for hikes, swims, paddle boarding, cross country skiing/snowshoeing, fetch or the dog park. He is very social and would love company. I have a small fenced back yard, but exercise my dog outside my home everyday . I like to predict what a dog will do to prevent conflict.

Our boys loved Amorena on our meet and greet and this was the first time in quite some time we’ve left our dogs with someone we don’t personally know. But so happy we found her! She’s reliable, punctual and loved the photos she sent as updates!

Brandi is the best!!! I told her I would have limited reception at work so texts in the app would work better than the walk cards and she made sure to text me how the dogs did everyday. Thanks so much Brandi!!

About: I have a real knack for getting along with dogs and cats. Often I am able to provide services for owners who struggle to find sitters for shy pets, or pets with specific needs (such as older pets). I have a lot of experience caring for cats, dogs and many types of exotic pets (including guinea pigs, bearded dragons). I have been providing pet care services for 7 years professionally. Previous to providing pet care I spent many years with my own pets both raising and training them. Because of my background I am familiar with behavioral indicators and basic training. My priority is always your pets safety and comfort. I can provide many services including dog walking, and administering oral medicine. I really enjoy spending time with animals and I have never met one I didn’t like! Please reach out with any questions you may have! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to cater to your pets needs and maintain their routines. I will never accept a job that I cannot provide the level of service needed to properly provide care for your pets and home. I treat all pets like they were my own, I love to spend time with them and enjoy making them feel at ease even if their parents are away. I enjoy spending time with animals and love to make time to provide care to them. I look forward to learning more about your pets schedule and needs and discuss how that fits into my schedule! I will always prioritize your pets safety, whatever that means for your pets specifically. During meet and greets will can discuss any and all safety concerns and make sure that your pet is happy and healthy!

About: Dogs have always been a part of my world, home training, loving, caring and fostering fur babies has been my pleasure. It’s an honor to be given their trust and affection and to provide safe shelter for them to develop and explore. I currently have a 5 yo Pom. I often have cared for friends’ dogs in my home. I have not yet found a dog I didn’t love and who took to me as well from pit bull to poodle. I present them with a calm gentle presence and they generally respond the same. They bring so much love and joy to my life and help keep me moving and healthy as well. I can keep on schedule with their meds and routines and keep in touch with you so you can know how they are doing. I am retired and very flexible on times and days. I am open to caring for your pets in my (condo) home or yours. I prefer a small (under 25 lbs preferably) dog for in my home. I am restricted to two pets at a time (including my Pomeranian) so only accept one at a time. That ensures your dog will receive lots of attention. I have direct access to yard that is far off streets and great for running and playing. If unsure, I keep your fur baby leashed and walk or run him/her 3 times or more each day. I can apply meds but no injections. There is one other dog besides mine in the condo building who is friendly and playful, and one Chin in the next building who is shy and stays away from others except occasionally. Your pup will be safe and secure.

About: I can attune to the needs of your dog. If they are high energy I can do a hike around the valley or take them on a mellow walk in Cashmere. I am adaptable to what your dog needs. I have volunteered at an animal sanctuary for six years, have had dogs of my own, and now help dog sit for my mother's puppy and my friends dog. Also, my son and I help walk the neighbors dogs whenever she needs and my schedule allows. I work Monday and Tuesday at 3 pm so I can fit in a walk before that. I am also free Wednesday or Thursday anytime before 4 pm. I am dependable and trustworthy. I will respect your wishes and listen to your advice and recommendations on what is best for your specific pet.

About: Hi there! My name is Jena and any dog I’ve met I have loved like my own! Growing up, I had a Golden Retriever and Australian Shepard as well as a cat. When I was a kid, I wanted to run my own dog-walking and boarding business! I have some experience administrating medication (gotta love wrapping things in cheese!) to pets. I am a type-1 diabetic, so while I have not given an animal a shot, I know how to handle a needle. I live in Wenatchee and work full-time in Leavenworth, I can check in on and walk dogs in the Leavenworth area throughout the day. For those in Wenatchee I can come in the morning before 8am or after I get off of work after 6pm. Because I am living in an apartment, my home is not available at this time for pet sitting. I am more than happy to visit and take care of animals from the comfort of their own home!

About: Hi there! My name is Payten, and I’ve been around dogs my entire life—of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Whether it’s a high-energy pup or a senior dog who needs a little extra TLC, I have experience caring for dogs with a wide range of behaviors and needs. I’m comfortable administering medications and have been around many dogs with special needs. My goal is always to make sure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m known for being reliable, organized, and incredibly kind. You can trust that your dog will be in caring, capable hands. I’d love the opportunity to help care for your best friend and give you peace of mind while you’re away! I am also a non-smoker and do not vape. I’m currently a college student, but I have a very flexible schedule and am available up to five days a week for check-ins or overnight care. I have my own car, so I’m able to travel to wherever your pet needs me to be. In my clients home I will care for the animals just how the owner would like me to. I will follow all directions and do my very best to keep the dog happy and healthy. I will send daily updates and pictures too!

Paige was available and responsive on a last minute unplanned trip out of state. She was timely and communicated about daily walks. This gave me a lot of piece of mind especially for my elderly and sickly dog . She took great care of both of my dogs I appreciate her so much. I would love to use her services again on a more routine basis and would not hesitate to recommend her to friends

About: My family adopted an old dog from the Humane Society in my hometown back when I was younger. He died six months later because he was so old and had been abused by his previous owners. Soon after that, we adopted two foster kittens from a family friend of ours and named them Jack and Jill. They were the cutest and sweetest cats ever! Recently, I rescued a four-year-old rabbit named Boba. I have volunteered and have taken classes at my local Humane Society back at home for about two years. Personally, I have taken care of my friends and family's dogs and cats for about three years and have gotten paid to do so. I love bringing dogs on hikes and walks. I usually take care of them for a day or have them stay with me for up to a week. I have also visited friends' houses to take care of their dogs or cats. I have loved animals since I can remember, and I would love to take care of yours, too! I currently work at home, and my schedule is pretty flexible. I would love to pause my day for a moment to care for your pet and their needs. I currently live in a warehouse loft in downtown Wenatchee and am close to several pet-friendly parks, as well as the beautiful Riverfront Park walking path. Whether caring for your pet at my home or yours, I’ll provide lots of love, attention, playtime, and outdoor walks or potty breaks to keep them happy and comfortable.

About: I've had all kinds of pets growing up. As an adult I've had birds (parakeets and a lovebird), cats and dogs. I love doing basic training, supervised play time, and dog walks. I work remotely and often can take my work with me. This has provided more opportunities for me to get my pup out and provide a more consistent walking schedule for him. I make sure to follow all guidelines that owners have set forth, including feeding guidelines, and provide the care required for any pet I work with.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I can remember. I have two rescue pups of my own! Dog sitting is one of my favorite things to do! I have been pet sitting in my home and others for years. If you have a shy pup- no worries! I have taken in rescues, fostered, taken care of people and dog aggressive pups and given them all of the patience, attention, and love they deserve. So whether you have an anxious baby, a senior pet, or a social butter fly- I’ve got you! I recently departed from my ten year healthcare career to finish my psychology degree so I am readily available! Currently, I am staying home with my own kids and pups and have time to help spoil yours and make everyone’s life a little easier! At my own home I have an acre of fenced in pasture for your pups to play! I have kennels if your pup is kennel trained and you would like to keep them on a schedule but if not that’s fine too. For pet sitting in my own home I can only accept people and dog friendly pets. But if you are looking for a place for your pups to play with other dogs- look no further! My pups are gentle and great play mates. Our pasture was originally a horse pasture so it has beautiful shade trees and lots of space for fun! If you are looking for pet care in your home, just let me know how to best accommodate your pet and keep things as routine as possible! I am a walker/runner so if your pup needs to get some exercise out, look no further! I also have access to a beautiful family owned canyon property next to my home if you would like me to provide a nice leashed trail experience or an off the leash sniffing extravaganza.

I may also buy them treats, i love to spoil dogs. I have had and taken care of lots of dogs for all my life. I'm saving up to get a new place so i can adopt some dogs and other animals. I work from home doing editing mostly so my days and nights are flexible. I have taken care of dogs kinda all my life and cats for the last couple of years. If the pet as no special needs or requirements then it's your normal go on walks play lots of pets feeding on time making sure they drink water all. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
