About: Hi! My name is Grace, and I had the honor of being a proud pet owner for nearly 20 years. I had the opportunity to care for my dog, Marley, for 13 beautiful years, and my cat, Tigger, for almost 20! Growing up with pets taught me respect, responsibility, and safety around animals from a young age, and has allowed me to take part in many other pet caring opportunities since then! I experience housesitting for others between 2-14 days at a time. I am a teacher during the day and a dance coach in the evenings, and due to this schedule, I am unavailable for drop-in’s between 7am-5:30pm. I am very patient when it comes to taking care of pets, and am attentive to their individual needs. I give appropriate reinforcement, along with discipline when needed. I am unable to care for pets in my own home at this time, but am more than willing to care in your own home, if needed!

If you need a sitter, I would be unavailable to take them to my own house, but can stop in/stay at your place. Caring for an pet greatly depends on the pet themselves and the owner's desires. I love to play and be active with the animals if allowed. If a pet is older and doesn't like to be active for long, I enjoy just spending the quality time so they aren't lonely while their owner is away. I also always check in with the client about their pet's basic needs, such as how much they are fed and how often, how often they are let out, if there is any needs for any disabilities, etc.
