“Excellent job. My Rick was happy, healthy and calm and did not appear to have missed me at all, LOL. Mary left everything in tidy order and communicated when she had questions. She followed the care instructions and improvised skillfully - I appreciate her providing great care of my Rick🤗”

About: I grew up with a dog throughout my childhood and miss him every day! I had a roommate with a dog recently for about a year as well and loved having a fur baby again. I recently got married and moved in with my husband, and I’m missing having a dog to walk and take care of! I’m a freelance French translator and interpreter, so my schedule is very flexible! I typically work from home and tend to have a lot of available in the afternoons, but can often assist in the morning as well, with advance notice. I’m not able to care for pets in my home at this time, as I’m not allowed to have dogs in my rental, unfortunately! I wish I could!

About: I would love an opportunity to provide care for your pet. I have over 10 years of experience caring for pets, training, etc. so I am more than qualified to take care of your pet! I am planning on providing pet care as my job, so I am pretty available…I am interested in daily walks as well as overnight care.. I provide loving and nurturing care in the comfort of the pets home. I was a nanny so I am always mindful of keeping the home safe and tidy!

About: With over 30 years of hands-on experience as a pet owner, trainer, and sitter, I provide dependable and compassionate care for animals of all kinds. I’ve fostered and bottle-raised everything from kittens to calves, and I’m experienced with senior care and administering medications. I pride myself on being trustworthy, responsible, and truly in tune with each animal’s individual needs. Pet sitting is my full-time work, so I offer a flexible schedule to accommodate your booking needs, including weekends, holidays, and even same day or last-minute requests. Safety, Trust & Environment I am fully insured and provide both in-home care at clients’ homes—whether for overnight stays or daytime drop-ins—as well as boarding in our home. Our property includes a secure fenced yard for safe potty breaks and playtime, cozy kennels for restful sleep, and of course, plenty of belly rubs and affection. I prioritize each pet’s comfort, routine, and safety, whether they’re staying with me or I’m coming to them.

“Jessica is so sweet, she connected with Jaspie quickly. Took him to the beach and was sweet to honor my request for beach pics! The pics were amazing! And I can tell by Jaspie's expressions he loves her!! Totally recommend her!”

“My husband (Brian ) and I were very pleased with our first experience using Harrah for an overnight pet sitting. She has a very calm demeanor which our dog likes. We’re not your “typical people”, because we have a very high maintenance dog and are very detailed with our expectations. Harrah took notes and listened well with our protocol. When we returned home we could tell right away that Max was happy and content. (Unlike past vacations retuning home finding our dog had anxiety thru the roof 🥺) We also gave her additional responsibility to feed our Koi pond which again she was stellar at. We highly recommend Harrah for pet sitting and have already booked her for three more trips. 🐾🐶”

About: I have two fur babies of my own and know they’re a lot of work! I love to help other families and learn more from others. I’m currently working part time and am on summer vacation so my schedule is currently very flexible! I can plan accordingly to best meet you. Working with each pet is different. Depending on what routine you have your pet on is what I will adapt to! I know from experience that they need attention and play just like children.

“Valery is such an amazing person! Our dog takes a while to warm up to people, but him and Valery were best buddies in no time! I was nervous leaving our fur baby while we traveled internationally, but Valery ensured that our pup was well taken care of! We loved receiving daily pictures and videos of our dog and hearing from our neighbors about how loving and sweet Valery was with him! I highly recommend Valery for your pet sitting needs!!!”

About: “With a lifetime of experience caring for dogs and other animals, I bring a deep understanding and genuine love for all pets. Growing up in a home full of animals taught me not only the practical aspects of pet care but also the importance of patience, empathy, and building trust with every animal friend. My lifelong passion for animals sets me apart, ensuring your pet is cared for with the same attention and affection I’ve given my own. As of right now, I am currently looking for a part-time job while attending Monterey Peninsula College, but as of right now, my schedule is pretty open. “I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment when caring for pets. My home is pet-friendly, featuring a secure fence to keep pets safe during outdoor play. I also have a brand-new, unused dog crate available for any pet that feels more comfortable with their own space. Whether in my home or yours, I ensure your pet feels secure, loved, and well-cared for at all times.

About: I am the person for you if you’re looking for someone responsible and caring to walk your four legged friend. Let me know if you might need someone to check in on your pet or pets to make sure all is well or maybe need a home away from home while you’re taking a short trip. If your pet would do better in their own home, just let me know. My own dog family has included an Australian Shepard (named Angel), two terriers (Boots and Bear) a Cardigan Welsh Corgi (Fairy Glenn Natalie aka “Natty Girl”), and a golden retrievers (Woody) and a Pomeranian (Bubba)! Our newest additions are Pembroke Welsh Corgi (Abby) and Auggie (Corgi/Australian Shepard, Huckleberry)! From puppy to senior, it didn’t take long for them to be part of our family. I have always been a dog lover and will treat your pet like my own and consider your pets individual needs! In response to COVID-19, I am continuing to exercise caution during this time by sanitizing leashes, keeping hands and home clean and sanitized before and after visits. If you'd prefer, please let me know & I can use my own leash as an extended precaution. Instead of in person meet & greets prior to service, I am also available for remote meeting such as facetime and zoom platforms. Our pets need us, let's do what we can to keep ourselves safe from this virus! I believe that dog walks are an important part of a doggie's day and I'm willing to help out with that when life gets in the way! With enough notice I can drive throughout Monterey County and sometimes a bit beyond. I will keep your fur baby company and keep them entertained with chew toys, walks, and any suggestions that you might have for your pet's personality. Sometimes, they seem to prefer naps until they see you again :)

About: I love dogs and have taken care of many different breeds for many years. When I'm dog-sitting, I treat them as if they were my own pets. When their "parents" are gone, it's important to make them feel secure. That's why I prefer to dog-sit in the pet's home. Also, I work in the medical field and know when a dog needs to see the vet. I am a semi-retired medical writer/editor and I work from home exclusively. This means that when I'm caring for your pet, I'm home with them every day all day. All I need to do my work is access to wi-fi. Also, I've had birds for more than 40 years, so if you have a bird in addition to your dog, you can trust me with its care. I mentioned earlier that I prefer to care for pets in their own home. It's less disruptive and helps them to feel secure. That's important to me.

“Anissa was wonderful and super responsive whenever I messaged her. Asks plenty of questions to make sure she’s handling our dog with the outmost care and we truly appreciate that. Thank you very much🙏🏼”

About: Hii, my name is Sherlynn. I’m 25 years old. Born and raised in Salinas, California. I had a pit bull mix for 3 years and had him when he was a puppy to an adult. He was outgoing but calm when he came around people. I have had many pets including dogs, cats, birds and a bunny. I just recently adopted a German Shepherd. I enjoy taking the pets on walks on the beach and parks. I’m able to handle situations that get out of hand the right way. I’m a good candidate to pet sit and walk because i’m experienced and I am open to any type of dog. Lastly, I will make sure the pet is happy, satisfied and safe. Thank you for looking at my description and feel free to ask me questions if needed. I have a fulltime job M-F morning shift. My schedule is pretty flexible. I do babysitting on the side but either than that I am at home. I do live in house that has a fenced yard. I live less than 1 minute away from a dog park which is so convenient. My neighborhood is calm.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was younger. I have 3 years of experience when it comes to dog sitting and house sitting. I always make sure to accompany the pet as often as possible so that they feel cared for and less anxious being away from their owner. I aim to provide the best service and care for pets. I’m currently working full time throughout the week, but I can still find time to take care of someone’s pet before and after my shift. In a client’s home, I can feed, walk, and entertain your pet as needed. I can make sure they have water and food available before I leave to work and I can also put the pet in a crate if the owner asks.

“We are a four dog family and asked much of Jalissa watching them all during our home’s open house. She managed to keep them all very happy taking them for long walks and sending lots of photos of their adventures. Caring for four dogs at once is not for the weak of heart and she did an amazing job. I would entrust our pups to her anytime. She takes your dogs on as her own and makes sure they’re happy while you’re gone. Thank you Jalissa!”

About: I've taken care of dogs since 2020, from small to big. I can say that I am very reliable and responsible when it comes to dogs as I see them as children. I have owned a Rottweiler, Bitbulls, Chihuahua, and a Maltese. I can take any dog in as long as they aren't too aggressive. I can handle anxious dogs as I have one myself I have learned to become more soft and not have people or other dogs stimulate them too much. I'm working part-time and only work on weekends so I should have time to take care of dogs almost any day. I will be available every day of the week. I am flexible with time so you can message me about that and we can sort that out together. I will not be able to take in pets at my home since I do have a small dog and he stays in my room, (he's a very anxious dog so I wouldn't be able to have pets around him.) As for taking care of pets in your home give me the instructions and I can follow them accordingly. I'm fine with having to give the dogs baths myself or taking them on walks or just playing with them!

Andrea M.
“Andrea pet sat for my two dogs (Shiba Inu and Bischon Cockapoo) for years - she was timely, responsive, and my dogs always loved seeing her! She took excellent care of these dogs who were not the best on leash. I would trust Andrea with any future pet.”

Lisa R.
“Lisa is a caring and honest person with a special affinity for animals .particularly dogs. She would make an excellent choice for an an animal caregiver”

Molly S.
“Molly is an amazing sitter. She has watched my service dog Annabelle at times when Annabelle has been unable to be with me. She goes the extra mile, sends tons of pictures and sweet updates. There have been time I think my dog loves her more… but that’s fleeting lol She is great about checking things around the home; grabbing the packages and mail… watering my potted plants and making sure the trash bins make it to the curb. She takes Annabelle for playtimes at our local dog run and that’s my dog absolutely favorite things in the world. I will absolutely be using her in the future and enjoy using her for my pets care.”

Jessica S.

Ashton L.

“Ashton is one of the most reliable and compassionate pet caregivers I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. He has a natural way with animals calm, patient, and incredibly attentive to their needs. Whether he’s taking a dog out for a long walk, making sure feeding and medication schedules are followed, or simply spending time giving pets the affection they crave, he always goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe and loved. Ashton cared for my pet while I was out of town, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the start, he was communicative, organized, and clearly experienced with animals. He took the time to learn about my pet’s routine, preferences, and quirks, and made sure everything was followed exactly. What really impressed me was how attentive and affectionate he was. My pet turtle isn’t always quick to warm up to new people, but he connected with Ashton right away. Ashton made sure he got plenty of exercise, playtime, and cuddles. Ashton also did so well with my pet ants too and of course Nawi my dog. He treats every pet as his own, and you can tell by how quickly animals come to trust and bond with him. Ashton is also great at keeping pet parents in the loop and reassured while they're away. I would undoubtedly recommend him to any pet parent looking for a trustworthy, loving, and dependable sitter. Your pets will be lovingly looked after in his care!”

Becky A.
“Becky took great care of our Labrador and our border collie/Australian shepherd for 30 days. She sent pictures, responded to my texts, and asked questions about them as needed. Becky clearly loves dogs, as our border collie is younger and needed lots of attention. She gave them special human grade treats, and I was worried they would love her more! I felt super confident about Becky caring for my dogs and walking them. She is also better than me at taking dog photos! I give Becky a 10/10! See you soon again, Becky! Thank you!”

She is very responsible and loyal when it comes to babysitting our pets. She is 100 percent loyal and very loving when it comes to pets. She is a great dog walker and a trainer. Michael M.

“I have known Michael for about 10 years of my life and over the years he has owned several animals that he has cared for. He is always a rule follower and does things in a timely manner. He hasn't personally cared for my animals because he lives quite a bit away from me to do so. However, if I ever had to give up my animals or need someone to watch them, he would be the first person I would go to in a heartbeat. He has such a big heart for any and all animals and he cares for them so much. Michael Martinus would make a great pet sitter/dog walker.”
