“Carol is the best. She sent me photos and updates daily and I was surprised that Dodger even wanted to come home. We had a canceled flight and were a day late and she was so gracious. I would use her again and recommend her to anyone! She was great!”

“We were looking for someone who would care for our teddy bear dog as if she were with us while we were in our own home. Nicole was the perfect fit. She was very responsive with any questions or concerns we had and updated us with photos!”

“Deborah was our first sitter to book on Rover, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. She sent us photos throughout the week, and I felt calm and confident that our Olive dog was safe and cared for. So much better than a kennel! ”

“Pamela did an amazing job taking care of my dog, Trolley. I can always tell when I drop her off that she’s happy to see Pamela, and that gives me so much peace of mind. Trolley genuinely enjoys staying with her, which says a lot. Pamela clearly loves dogs and treats Trolley like one of her own. I never have to worry when she’s in Pamela’s care because I know she’s getting plenty of love and attention. It’s such a relief to have someone I completely trust. I highly recommend Pamela to anyone looking for a caring, reliable pet sitter.”

“Rocky really enjoyed his stay with Patricia. Her updates were fantastic and he appreciated having additional pet friends to keep him company. I’ll definitely be using Patricia’s services again in the future!”

“Tillie and Sally Mae enjoyed their second stay with Marla. They came home worn out from running around and playing with her dogs in the large yard. Got a video of Tillie playing in the water. She loves that.”

“Lyn was great! We were nervous leaving our pup for the 1st time with a sitter but all went well. Lyn kept us posted with picture and video. We couldn't have made a better choice! Thank you Lyn!”

“Madison was great. She took great care of Odin. It was obvious by how happy he was when we picked him up. She answered promptly when I checked in. I will definitely use Madison again. I highly recommend her.”

About: I grew up on a 10-acre ranch surrounded by animals of all kinds, so caring for pets has been a natural part of my life from the very beginning. I went on to spend 15 years working as a veterinary technician, which means I’m not just an animal lover I’m trained to handle medical situations and emergencies with a calm, experienced hand. Your pet will be in safe, knowledgeable care with me. Whether it’s administering medication, recognizing signs of illness, or simply knowing how to read an animal’s behavior, I bring a level of expertise that goes beyond your average pet sitter. I offer boarding and walks in a safe, comfortable environment. My home has a fully fenced yard, plus a separate fenced side yard — perfect for keeping pets apart if needed. I have a dog of my own who is friendly, but I’m happy to keep him separate from your pet for their comfort. I also have two kids at home, so your dog will get plenty of love and attention! I'm currently home full time homeschooling my 8-year-old daughter, so my days already have alot pf built in flexibility. I'm available for boarding most days and weekends, with weekday flexibility for drop-ins or walks. Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I'm already home with my kids and my own puppy throughout the day. I have a fully fenced yard, with a separately fenced side yard as well, so dogs have secure space to play. My pool is also fenced off separately, so pets can't access it. I have my own puppy who loves company, so your dog won't be alone. With 15 years as a veterinary technician, I know how to read a pet's body language and catch early signs of stress or illness, and can crate separate, or supervise closely depending on what your pet needs to feel safe.
“Tiffany and spouse were wonderful. My Australian Shepherd seemed very calm and affectionate toward them when I came to pick her up. They made sure she ate only the specially prepared food that I brought for her. I would highly recommend them and plan to book with them in the future.”

“Stacy and her husband were amazing!! They have a beautiful spacious home and backyard that my dog loved exploring, and they were so patient and accommodating to all of our dog’s quirks and needs. His time with Stacy felt like a vacation for him too! Drop off and pick up were seamless, and she was understanding and flexible with our arrival time. We would love to use her services again!”

Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
