About: I have taken care of my dog for the past 7 years. I have taken care of family dogs (my aunts) bathe, walk and feed. I am available Tuesday through Thursday anytime. I have some morning hours available on the other days but I work overnights Friday thru Sunday. So Monday mornings and Friday mornings are available. I live in an apartment. I have taken care of a 1-year-old cat along with 3 other adult cats, including a cat who required at least 30 minutes of playtime and interaction every day. I have also cared for a large dog who ate home-cooked soup mixed with his food at specific feeding times, as well as a husky who stayed in an air-conditioned dog house unit and required daily vitamins and attentive care. I am good at following direction for the desired care you and your pet need. I work remotely and any activities I plan I would plan around a schedule if at all with the pet in mind. I will plan in advance for the openings I have in my schedule to permit me to be with the pet. I typically stay in the pets home to create a less stressful environment for the pet and go about its daily routine as instructed by the pet owner. I will stay as long as required by the pet owner or stay in a guest bedroom all day depending on what makes the pet owner most comfortable with.

About: I'm 50 years old, and have mostly owned pit bull breed dogs, but I love all breeds. From 2010 to 2018, my APBT was trained as a therapy animal, we did hospital visits and library events with children. I taught him several tricks, such as left, right, speak, play dead. My current pit is a rescue and I am off leash training. Dog Walking: I work in the Kankakee area, so coming to walk your dog in Kankakee, Bradley, Bourbonnais, is NO problem! Either in the mornings (after 7am) and/or later in the evenings (8ish pm) it's all negotiable. I live in Iroquois county, so I have more availability to walk your dog if you are in that area. Pet Sitting: I can come to sit in your home, if that is preferred. I am also available to just come let them outside, spend time and play, feed, water, clean up. Boarding: I would love to open our home to your precious babies. Non smoking, fenced in yard, lots of walks in my small town. My dog friendly pup can't wait to play tag around the dining room table. All pets are welcome on the couches and have full access to the entire 1st floor, including the bed in the spare room. My husband and I work different shifts, so someone is usually always home. A maximum of 3 to 4 hours of an occasional overlap in shifts. I am able to crate your pet if preferred, or close off access to half of the living space. Before boarding, a few meet and greets are necessary. More details as we move forward. Cats: I will help with your cats, spending time, play, feed, clean litter boxes. I also have several years of experience with birds. I know how important socializing is to birds, and leaving them alone can cause problems and stress. Boarding of cats and birds can be discussed. As I'm nearing retirement from the Healthcare field, I would like to do more of what I love, which is caring for and spending time with animals. Your dog is welcome on the couches and downstairs bed. Access to entire 1st floor. I can also crate if preferred. Baths and nail trims are no problem! I have a 60lb staffordshire terrier who loves all kids, people and dogs. It's playtime almost 24/7! Unless it's nap time and he's professional at that also!

About: I've grown up with dogs. I've personally had a cocker spaniel and a bloodhound. I have cared for and watched many other breeds through watching extended family's dogs while they're out of town. Unfortunately, I have experience with end-of-life care as well. My bloodhound had cancer and required special care in her last couple of months. I'm currently only working part-time, which gives me plenty of time to hang out with your fur babies! My schedule is flexible, and I have most weekends open. I currently live at home, so I would prefer to care for your dog at your home or on neighborhood walks. For the dogs I currently pet sit, I spend several of my hours lying on the ground, snuggling with them, chatting with them, and giving them treats. I am flexible and will follow the care plan you have set for your fur baby.
