About: I’ve been around pets my whole life and genuinely love all animals. I had my first cat at age 4 and grew up with both cats and dogs. I also lived with a rescued pit bull for several years (she had a rough past and didn’t do well around other dogs), so I have some experience with anxious pups on walks. Whether your pet is social and playful or a bit shy and needs space, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at and give them the best care possible. Even with a full-time job in finance, I make time for what matters—and for me, that includes animals. I work a standard weekday schedule, but my evenings and weekends are all open for pet care. The flexibility of my job may allow for a late morning - early afternoon check-in. Whether its a walk, evening check-in, or weekend drop-ins, I’m happy to build a schedule that fits your pet’s needs. I also spend most of my downtime at home, so if your pets need longer visits, I can give them plenty of attention and company. I lost our beloved family dog about two years ago and I do not want to commit to raising another one since I like to travel. But on my down time, I really miss having a dog to love that’s why I thought this would be a great option! I recently retired so I have a lot of flexibility, and a lot more time to spend at home and to care for your dog. It’s just me and my wife that live in the home and she would be available to help if needed. We live in the country on a one acre lot so your dog would have a big area to roam! I am fine with the pet staying inside my home if that is what works best for you. I am happy to use a crate if that’s what’s preferred!
