“Kelly was amazing! I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a dog sitter in the area. She was professional, reliable and really sweet with our older dog Scooter. We had complete peace of mind during our vacation knowing that Scooter was in good hands. We're already planning on using her during our next trip!”

“Steve provides my cats with loving care while I am away. I have one cat who is difficult and can be unfriendly and he has won her over! He sends pictures of her sitting on his lap! He is always prompt and thoroughly cleans the litter box. I love the photo updates he sends while visiting with the cats - I can tell that they are well-cared for. He truly loves animals - it is very obvious from the care and attention they receive.”

About: I've cared for and have had the privilege of sharing my life with dogs, cats, birds, horses, rabbits, and goats. I've been lucky enough to have raised three dogs from puppydom to senior pooches, all three living beyond 18. I currently share my home with a 13 years old Miniature Pinscher named Sadie. I couldn't imagine continuing on without a furry child in my life. They are central and that's how I feel about all my charges as well. I have extensive experience in caring for puppies, tweens, teens, adults and senior dogos. Unfortunately, I can no longer work with bully breed or bully mixes. I'm available anytime and often at short notice. I have no limitations or restrictions between the hours of 9A until 9P seven days a week. I can only care for small dogs (under 25 lbs) in my own home as my HOA has restrictions on pet size. In your home, your pet will be either King or Queen. They will be pampered and loved as you would want them to be.

Today, my dogs are ages eight and eleven and I am their most trusted person in the house. I’ve trained them both despite being in school and I take care of their hygiene. This includes brushing their fur, washing them, and cleaning their teeth. Other than that I am very flexible on both weekdays and weekends. If I am unable to work, I will communicate immediately to the best of my ability. I make sure hazards are out of range and site of the animal in care. I don’t rush the bond, and take it to the pet’s pace for trust. At home, my dogs at senior dogs that I have trained since they were puppies and we have a lot of trust in each other and a great bond. Animals of all kinds have a very special place in my hear and I work hard so my fur animals can have a better life. Remember, your animals only experience what you allow them to. Let them experience life the way we do, they are only here for so long. I work from home therefore, I am available at all times. I can bring my work to your home if I need to be there for an extended time or I can leave my work at home and come take care of your animals if it will be for a shorter period of time. My dogs experience everything that I experience in my home. Such as roaming freely, having access to food and water at all times, being able to roam in the yard independently, and most importantly, they sleep on a tempur-pedic mattress at night with their humans.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;

Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
