Doggy Day Care in Minturn

About: I have been a dog owner since before I could walk, and have always seen my dogs as members of my family. In addition to growing up with dogs, I have also raised several litters of AKC registered Golden Retrievers, so I truly know how to care for every aspect of a dog. I have the knowledge and experience to care for any breed - from large & high energy to small & anxious… I am confident caring for all. I am very educated in breed specific traits and understand that every breed comes with specific needs. I am also willing to accommodate most unique needs you may have; whether your dog needs to be fed away from any other dogs/people, needs daily medication or even if you need me to reinforce a strict training regimen while they are in my care. I am confident in my ability to meet any level of care required. So whether you’re looking for an easygoing home with kids to snuggle your family dog while they’re away from you, or a knowledgable caretaker who knows the importance of stability and regimens; we surely will be the perfect fit! I am a stay-at-home mom so I am able to be present 24/7 to ensure total and diligent care for any animal in my home. We have a large cozy house with plenty of space to run around and play! There’s a large backyard to run around in! Out backyard isn’t fenced in but we have long leash tethers outside so our dog can run around out there. Our dog has free range of the house, but we have the ability to keep dogs and children completely separate when needed (via baby gates) and are willing to enforce any home rules to ensure stability. I have 3 well behaved children who are adequately trained on appropriate ways to interact with animals. I also have an adorable mini goldendoodle named Arlo who just might be the most lazy & well mannered doodle out there! I was a school nurse before becoming a stay at home mom and my husband is a doctor, so we have a very medically trained and safe household!

“I was last minute searching for someone to watch my 3 month old puppy during the day. Emily responded very promptly. She allowed me to drop off Aspen early in the morning before I went to work. I was sent many pictures throughout the day and updates on how Aspen was doing. Emily spent some time working on training Aspen which is much appreciated. Aspen was very tired after spending the day at Emily’s house and playing with her dog. I would definitely use Emily for doggy day care again!”

About: Growing up I lived on a livestock farm so my life for animals came natural and at a very early age. I previously worked as a Vet Tech and still currently volunteer for a local rescue, which is how I got 2 of my babies! I would love to keep your loved companions safe and comfortable while you relax on vacation or take care of business for work. I have a completely open schedule at the moment. I can do potty breaks /walks or over night stays for as long as is needed. I have a fenced in yard in a quite neighborhood. Plenty of toys and blankets for everyone and only the best quality dog food and treats. I also have two very friendly dogs of my own but could keep separate if you prefered. I have no limits for space in my house so furniture and such is fair game. I just want them to be comfortable and feel safe.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life and couldn’t imagine life without them. I have watched and taken care of many animals since I was 14 years old for neighbors and friends. I even interned at the local vet just to get more time with the furry ones. I also have a 2 month old baby that will often have to tag along in his car seat. If this is a conflict please let me know so I can make arrangements! I am a stay at home mom, so I am home all day ready to take care of your pet. I love taking walks so your furry friends would get plenty of exercise. We currently live one 2 acres with lots of room to play. There are farm animals they can visit or stay in the front yard away from the hustle. It is your choice. Part of the yard is fenced in. I can easily offer any accommodations needed for your pet. I have 2 kitties that love to play and interact with all animals to keep them company. We also have a springer spaniel puppy that would love to make friends.

About: I'm a down to earth dog mama to two spoiled rotten Boxers. They are very friendly and love other animals. I absolutely love animals. I understand that every dog is different, they have different needs and personalities and I'm happy to say that I'm easy to adapt to such. Safety and care are top priority and of coarse undivided attention. Your pet(s) would be well taken care of as if they were my own. I know how much fur babies mean to the family. I enjoy playing and taking dogs on walks. I'm very patient and don't mind helping to potty train or assist in learning commands for the younger ones. I two playful dogs of my own to give your dog(s) company. I can also crate if that is so requested.

About: Whatever you and your animal may need- I am here to help! I own a rescue farm - where each animal gets another chance at life. I am currently a Licensed Vet Tech student and excited to expand my love for animals beyond my own! I currently work at a local small animal emergency clinic part time- helping doctors provide top notch care to all animals.
