About: Hello! My name is Amber. I’m currently available to pet sit in Lima and surrounding areas! Dogs are one of my great loves in life. I previously worked at a no-kill shelter in Columbus, Ohio where I worked with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I am comfortable with many temperaments—I haven’t yet met an anxious dog who didn’t warm up to me quickly—but if your dog has any aggression issues, I am not comfortable accepting the request. If needed, I can administer oral medication; I do not have experience with needles. I am a non-smoker, non-drinker, who adapts quickly to new surroundings. I am generally pretty quiet, and I always respect my surroundings. Just like I treat your pets like my own, the same goes for your home. I always make sure it is clean and well kept. By trusting me with the care of your home and your pets, you are giving me the opportunity to do what I love, so there is no question that I will go above and beyond what is expected of me. About: I've personally had three dogs in my home while growing up. I have had bunnies, hamsters, fish, and frogs as well. I currently have four cats in my care and have taken care of other people's dogs. I am currently in school, gaining my certifications for pet boarding. I am looking to take care of animals in the morning and occasional weekends. I am open to caring for your animals in their home, I am not able to house animals at my own house or stay overnight at the moment.

About: I am not new to animal care or taking care of animals. I have veterinary technician experience. I have 2 dogs and a huge fenced in back yard. I do work, but i am able to work in the morning or early evening. My dogs love to play ball, chase each other, go for walks, and car rides. They are crate trained and sleep there at night. We have a huge fenced in backyard that my dogs live to run, wrestle and tear up the grass in. I cannot guarantee your pet won't have accidental grass stains.

She helped me navigate the River site since it was the first time, was extremely communicative, immediately helped sort out changing some last minute details when my dog passed just before the trip, and respected my cats dislike of strangers and tried to lure them to her but didn’t hunt them down and they were well cared for and happy when we got home. Since my cats are extremely shy she sent a creative variety of photos from around the house so we had the comfort of knowing that they were getting their daily care. Will absolutely book her for my future trips.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 4 when I got my first dog. I currently have two cats and would love a dog but my schedule won't provide me enough time to take proper care of one. I am great with training puppies and giving medications. I’m currently a Preschool Intervention Specialist and have my own special education preschool classroom through Lima City Schools. I currently teach August-May. My availability mainly opens up during the summer but love to help out during the school year around my teaching contract. I look forward to working with you! I am currently off for the summer so I can attend to pet care as much or as little as you need. During the school year as long as your schedule works around my teaching contract, I will be able to help you out as much as I can! I have plenty of experience with small, medium, and big dogs. I would prefer to come to you but in the need to have your pet at my house, I am able to crate dogs as needed at my home as my house has an extra room. Plus my cats are very friendly or just stay to themselves so your animals will be in great care.

About: Availability is flexible. I love animals so it’s a great job opportunity. Take great care of animals by feeding, playing with, taking them on walks and bathes if requested. We have a big backyard for them to run around I’m currently a stay at home mom so I have a lot of free time! I’m free on weekends as well. Any time of day! About: I have dog sat for many of my neighbors, friends, and family members all through high school and college. I would often be their first choice, as I am very trusted with their furry family members! Also, I have fostered 10 week old puppies, 3 month old puppies, and many more. I also have experience with reactive dogs, as my own is one. I am a recent college graduate, looking to make some extra money and what better to incorporate my love of animals! I work a part-time job so walking would have to be in the evenings or on my off days, but I can pet sit whenever! On the days that I work however, I am gone for 8+ hrs. I am well rounded in what I can do. All of my dogs have been crate trained so I am experienced in that and I’m also used to being around puppies with my fostering experiences. Also, with drop-in visits, I’m experienced in meeting new dogs and approaching them correctly.

About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs from around ten years of age, in that time I’ve cared for pets of friends, families, and neighbors, and I’m looking to expand who I can help, and assist with providing piece of mind to pet owners where I can. About: I have always had a dog around since I was a little girl and cats almost just as long! I have also volunteered at the local dog shelter and helped bathe and feed their pups! I currently work part time and can find a time in almost any day to meet the needs of your pets! The more free time I have is more time I could spend with your pet! My dog Ivy is treated like a princess at our house! I bathe, brush, and walk her as needed. However I make sure Ivy is shown love everyday by playing with her, taking her outside, and giving her belly scratches.

About: I have been a dog lover for much of my life! Growing up we had cats and smaller breed dogs. I begged my parents to allow me to watch our neighbors' dogs when they left town, and I was the go-to caretaker of our family's pets. As an adult, I have cared for 3 dogs of my own and currently we have 2 larger breed dogs. We adopted all of our dogs as puppies so I understand the adorable puppy moments, as well as the moments where puppies can be extra work. I've owned dogs into their senior years and how there can be limitation considerations and potentially and care required for health needs that come with age. I'm currently working part-time and manage a small business with my husband. Both are relatively flexible, especially if planned more than 1 week prior. Generally afternoons (after 1pm) are flexible. With advance planning, I can be available earlier in the day too. I can visit your home to care for your pets. If you have dogs and want me to provide exercise (walk or backyard play session), I can do so based on your preference. If you would like, I can also check on things inside such as water/food, or any other requested services (that I am able to provide).

About: I have taken care of Dogs since a child. I currently have 2 of my own who are spoiled rotten.I also currently help out my mom with her animals. I am currently working Full-time but make my own schedule so I am available nights ,weekends depending on my rotation for the month and days I have a fully fenced in backyard and 2 friendly dogs of my own to keep your fur babies company. About: I have taken care of pets all my life. I have had a dog from the time I could walk and a horse since I was 4. Animals are a passion of mine. Currently I have three cats, 3 dogs, a horse, and a ferret. My cats are Lucifer, Loco, and Cleo. Lucifer loves to eat, Loco loves love, and Miss Cleo loves to be left alone. My dogs are Jezzi, Ziggy, and Auzy. Jezzi is a jack russel who loves belly rubs and to be the boss. Ziggy is a Texas blue heeler who is afraid of his shadow and has anxiety disorders. Auzy loves people and to play with other dogs, but she is 130 lbs and things she is a lap dog. My horse is Dallas and he love mini Oreos and to run all day long. My ferret, T-Bird, or the “crack weasel” as everyone calls him loves to run and sleep. My family and friends have always relied on me with their pets, homes, and children anytime they needed someone. Pet care is like a second nature to me, everyday at 5:30 I go to the horse barn and feed Dallas. My other animals get fed when I feed myself and their water is always filled. I work full time, if I am not working at Coopers in the morning I am babysitting. With my full schedule I always make time for each and every one of my pets whether that is playing in the yard with my dogs or playing with my cats, or even letting the ferret loose in the house to play with the cats or the dogs. When I am working in a clients home, usually if the weather permits I will take their babies outside to play or even the park for a walk. I also like to take dogs for car rides to get ice cream on a warm day. On a wet or cold day we stay in and play or lounge depending on the pet. Dogs and cats that need a little more training or help, I like to take time in the day to “make it all about business.” My dogs at home all know the basic commands and some others depending on the dogs, so it is fun to learn the difference between animals; for example my dog Ziggy, knows hug, move, and enough. People who own dogs like do not have anxiety usually wouldn’t know the meaning behind these commands. I use hug for Ziggy when it comes to new people because he can forget people in the matter of minutes and it takes time for him to get used to them again, the hug represents safety because most people do not know the command and how he reacts to it. The command move for Ziggy is also a command most people do not know the meaning behind. Ziggy’s anxiety constantly has him moving but when it comes to doors he has a tendency to sit and wait for someone to open a door before he jumps and nips them. Telling Ziggy to move makes him move to a different position in the house away from the door rather than telling him no. Enough is a command used a lot for Ziggy because his anxiety always has him barking and wanting constant contact, this becomes an inconvenience when I am trying to work on the floor or on my bed and he is walking all over my work space or even when I am just trying to take a deep breath. Telling him enough is like a heal command without the sit. Enough just means I’m not playing, I’m busy so go lay down. Working with a dog like Ziggy takes a lot of patience along with keeping a constant.
