“I have used Geena a few times and she is fantastic with my cat! Lots of pictures and very communicative! My shy girl loves her so much that they snuggle together!!! Happy cat mom!”

“She is AMAZING! Sinie has helped care for my pets who were sick during our most recent pet sitting booking. Sinie took my cats to the vet and administered the medicine that the needed. Especially to my cat Milkshake who to say the least can be "spicy". I will definitely book Sinie's services for my future pet sitting needs and you should too.”

“Emily is absolutely the best! She is reliable, respectful, and responsible. Our fur babies just love when she comes to visit. She does her research and loves our pets just as her own. So lucky we found her!”

About: I have over 12 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I currently have dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I provide regular potty breaks, playtime, exercise, and a calm environment where dogs can relax and feel at home. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, basic training, and monitoring behavior to make sure every dog is happy and healthy. I treat every pet like part of my family and send updates so owners always know how their pet is doing. I have free time during the day for potty breaks and check-ins. I am available most evenings, weekends, and overnight stays and flexible with scheduling I provide a safe, calm, and supervised environment for pets in my care. I follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, exercise, and potty breaks. I pay close attention to behavior to make sure every pet feels comfortable and secure. If needed, I can crate dogs or separate pets to ensure everyone stays safe. I also provide updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.
About: Calm, cozy boarding for dogs who need a peaceful environment 🐶 Teacher on summer break with a fenced yard, no kids, and lots of one-on-one care. I specialize in dog boarding and drop-in visits, and I love creating a low-stress environment—especially for dogs who may be anxious or need a little extra patience. My home is quiet, has no kids, and includes a fully fenced backyard so your dog can safely play, explore, and relax. Whether your dog is staying with me or I’m stopping by your home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I’m also big on communication—you’ll get frequent photo updates and check-ins so you always know how your pet is doing. I truly treat every dog like they’re my own and want you to feel completely at ease while you’re away. I’d love to meet you and your pup! I am a sixth grade teacher that loves to be with animals on the weekend. I work 4 days a week (usually) so am available on weekends and the summertime! I am known to run to dogs when I see them just to spoil them. I will make sure they are well taken care of while I am around your fur baby!!
“Courtney is the BEST! She provided me with so many pictures & a beautifully written description of her drop in visit for all four of my dogs. She makes me feel completely at ease knowing my pups are in her care”
About: I’ve had many dogs and pets growing up and finally got a house with a nice backyard. Looking to watch other people’s animals until I get my own! I work full-time up at the Air Force base. I’m available before I go to work in the morning, lunchtime if needed, and early afternoon through the night most weekdays. Fully available on weekends. No pets of my own and no children yet so hundred percent of my attention can go to the care of your pet. I have a huge fenced in backyard that doesn’t get much use. I’m also able to stop-in at your house to snuggle and take care of your pets as needed.
About: Caring for dogs is second nature to me. As the former owner of a pet waste removal business, I worked hands-on with dogs and their environments every single day. That experience gave me a strong understanding of canine behavior, body language, health cues, and the importance of maintaining a clean, safe space for pets. While I work full-time during the day, I’m home every evening and fully present to give your pet attention, exercise, and companionship. What truly makes my care unique is the freedom and comfort I offer throughout the day. Your dog will have access to a safe, fully fenced yard where they can run, play, and explore. If they prefer being indoors, they can use a pet door that leads into a temperature-controlled garage, giving them shelter and comfort at any time. This setup allows your pet to move freely between outdoor and indoor space based on their needs — without being confined. Your pet will never be kenneled unless you specifically request it. I believe in creating a stress-free, home-style environment where dogs feel safe, relaxed, and cared for.
“Saiqa did an AMAZING job with our two puppers! 🥰 They absolutely loved her and it was apparent that she loved them. She was very flexible with our unique family needs and was understanding & non-judgmental. Any animal family would be lucky to have Saiqa in their lives!!!! Hopefully, she’ll be a regular in our home!”

About: I have loved animals my whole life either being around them or taking care of my own. Growing up I had 3 rabbits and always had a dog and fish. I have helped my family and friends out with their pets over the years. I went to horse camp for multiple years and have rode other people's horses and go riding whenever I get the chance. I have worked professionally in 3 different animal related fields, 1 year in sales, 1 year in rescue and going on 3 years of petsitting. I have a seasonal full time job that leaves me with a lot of time on my hands in the winter time. I started doing pet sitting in the homes of the pet since I wasn’t able to do it in my place at the time, but it actually works out better this way. I find that all animals I have worked with are easier to work with in the comfort of their own home. I am comfortable with working with any animals except snakes and spiders. I don’t have a lot of experience with reptiles but am willing to learn given the opportunity. I am comfortable working with any breed of dog, age and size. I am Fear Free Certified and strive to make any experience with animals as positive and stress free as possible. I have basic training knowledge that I have learned over the years from working with rescue animals and things I have taught myself and like to incorporate with my petsittings if allowed. I have trained puppies of my own as well as helping other people with their owns and also have experince with caring for newborn puppies and their mothers. I also have experience with senior animals and giving medications. I am also working on getting certified in animal CPR. I do have a current daytime job in Minot that I work around. I can do check ins on my lunch break and after work during the week as well as in home stays if they're in town and I am totally available for anything on the weekends. Any service outside of Minot city limits will be subject to an extra charge for driving if accepted. Any service requested more than 10 miles outside of Minot to be determined depending on location. Anyone that is planning to be gone for more than one day, I do recommend overnight stays. I don't like leaving animals alone for more than 4-5 hours at a time or leaving them overnight by themselves. I pride myself on interacting with pets closely and giving them the attention they need. Whether it is food enrichments, walks, basic training, bathing etc. I’ve also had my fair share of dogs that are totally fine with just cuddling and watching movies which comes in handy on bad weather days. I am also a very clean person so rest assured, you will come home to a picked up and tidy home.
“Savannah was a wonderful find here on Rover. Quick to respond, very flexible with confirming dates and times but most of all took incredible care of my Allie. She updated me after each visit, took pictures of how well they were both getting along and even gave me a heads up at first sight of one of Allie’s eyes weeping. Couldn’t have asked for a better caregiver. Thank you so much!”

“Oh my goodness what a blessing Amanda has been for me and my Animal Childen! She goes above and beyond and is so compassionate towards them. She really goes the extra mile where she can to ensure all of my animals are happy and well taken care of while I'm away from home. I was so nervous to use Rover because I am so particular about things especially with me working in the Medical Field but my goodness has Amanda been absolutely perfect since the first visit! She is so flexible and dependable. Whenever she's available and I'm in need of someone to care for my critters Amanda will be my go to!”

“Zoe is awesome. She was very consistent and stayed in touch constantly. She took great care of my cat, taking him to play outside and sending lots of pictures every day. She’s very friendly and easy to work with. I’d highly recommend her to anyone needing pet care.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Minot
My pets and I absolutely adore Emily! We have booked with her twice now and she is so communicative, flexible, and trustworthy. And my cats love seeing her! I always get really anxious about our kitties when we are on a trip but she placed our minds at such ease. Thanks again!

There aren’t words for how pleased our family is with the care Kasey showed our animals! After a few bad experiences with other caregivers, we knew we needed to find a well-rounded professional. Even knowing that, our expectations were blown out of the water. Kasey treated our pets like her own, and was so so thoughtful and kind every step of the way, including handling our pets’ quirks. 1000/10, we’ll be booking with Kasey every time now!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
