About: I have been fortunate to love and care for pets of all types for over 40 years. I have cared for dogs of all sizes from Great Danes to chihuahuas and cats of all temperaments. In college I worked at a rescue facility for animals and I also have worked with farm animals. I have some medical experience and comfortable giving medications and treatments on animals with instructions. I am semi-retired and can spend more time with your pets. I am retired from my corporate job and work sporadically as a professional real estate inspector. When hired to care for your pets I will have few distractions and will be able to spend as much time as needed caring for them. At home I have 2 small-medium sized dogs that are friendly with other dogs. I have a large fenced in yard that the dogs have full use of. I also have a pool that dogs who like to swim can use. I frequently take them on walks at a local park or longer hikes at Tyler State Park. At your home I will treat your pets and home as if they were my own. I am able to check in frequently or stay with them, depending on distance and their needs.

About: I am retired. I will spend quality time with your dog! I have owned dogs all of my life. Our little Maddie went over the rainbow bridge November 2025 (at age 13 1/2). We miss her but have not taken the plunge for our next dog. Waiting on that special one to enter our lives! In the meantime, I am just pet sitting and enjoying other's dogs. When friends and relatives visit, their dogs are welcome too. Our home is totally dog friendly. We have a fenced in yard, as well as 7 acres to roam with a leash. If they enjoy riding in a side by side, we will go for rides. I am retired. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
