“Katie is amazing with dogs and is an incredibly responsible person as a whole. My two German Shepherds Riot and Apollo are in her profile pictures. Riot is an imported working line Czech Shepherd with a lot of energy, drive, and is very dominant. Apollo is a West German and he’s known her since he was a puppy. Both love Katie and respect her. I don’t trust many people with my dogs, but I trust Katie 110 percent with my two!”

About: I am a lifelong pet owner, I have volunteered for over 15 years with animal rescue. I have owned, and fostered dogs of all varieties of breeds. I have cared for pregnant dogs, bottle raised puppies,elderly, and those needing medication. I stay at home full time, which makes my availability very flexible. About: Currently enrolled in college but I’m new to Baton Rouge. Originally from Wyoming I have been watching people’s pets since I was 14, including at a doggy daycare. I have two dogs of my own, an 11 year old English Shepherd I have had for 11 years, and a Cattahoula Pitbill Mix I’ve had for two years. I am available for any type of pet care. I currently work part-time and choose my hours for school, so I have available every morning and even ring after 5pm to care for and play with your pets. I have a fenced yard with two friendly dogs, lots of treats, and toys. I can crate your dog if needed, my dogs are also crate trained.

“Margaret watched my pets for me while I was away on business for a few days (I have three cats and one dog). I normally ask my sisters but neither were available so I found Margaret and I’d never trust anyone with my pets besides her! My cats are pretty easygoing and just require the usual food water and snuggles. My dog can be a bit of a handful as he’s a very energetic young shiba. Margaret and him bonded immediately and she was wonderful with him! She’s responsible and kept to his feeding and exercise schedule and always sent me pictures and videos to update me and reassure me that he was okay. I think they barely noticed I was gone!! Overall 10/10 would recommend Margaret to anyone who needs care for their pets.”

About: An animal lover since birth, I have spent my life dedicated to animal welfare. I have volunteered at animal shelters, participated in fostering dogs as part of a rescue group, and follow a plant-based and cruelty-free lifestyle. I have puppy sat breeds ranging from shih tzu, chihuahua, beagle, American eskimo, Labrador, pit bull, boxer, Australian cattle dog, Great Dane... and the list goes on!
