About: I not only will walk your dog but I provide dog waste removal from your yard as well. Additional fees apply. I provide many different services I currently work an early am shift part time. I am available every day after 10:00am. I work in loss prevention so I understand the importance of taking care of property that isn’t mine as if it was. I also have three kids that absolutely love animals. Ages 13, 12, and 9. We are fully insured as well. I care in every way possible. This can be walks with shorter intervals or a normal pace. It all depends on the clients request. All dogs deserve to walk the neighborhood and sniff trees and we can make that happen.

“Michael made sure to check in with us with pictures and let us know how each walk went. He was super sweet with our big pup. We have a pitbull who has a tendency to pull on the leash sometimes and if he can handle that he can probably handle your dog great as well! I could tell he really cared. I'd trust him to help us again if needed in the future!”

About: Hi! I’m based in St. Croix Falls and share my life with two rescue dogs, Frank and Bentley. I moved here from Washington State, where I built up all my current Rover reviews. It’s been a few years since then, but now that I’m in the Midwest, I’m excited to add some new ones! My Animal Experience: * Household Pets: Dogs, cats, rabbits, snakes, lizards, rats, mice, and more * Farm Animals: Horses (mini to draft), cows, pigs, sheep, llamas, goats, waterfowl, and more I’ve done it all—scooped litter boxes, mucked stalls, played fetch until my arm ached, changed bandages, held my bladder so I wouldn’t disturb a purring house panther, collected mail, thrown hay and grain, watered plants, administered meds, clipped nails, and, of course, handed out a million hugs and kisses. Your fur baby will always receive the same love, care, and attention I give my own. I have tons of glowing references and can’t wait to meet (and spoil) your furry family member! I’m currently not working, so I’m available all day, seven days a week—including holidays. I’m happy to accommodate early mornings, late nights, and even last-minute requests. When I’m in a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow the pet’s normal routine and schedule. This helps ease the anxiety of having someone new in their space while their parents are away. I also respect your privacy—I know how it feels to have someone go through your belongings, and I could never imagine violating that trust.

“I'm happy to have chosen Joseph to walk my Husky, Maya! He would always show up for our designated time and day to walk Maya, no matter how cold it was. which I really appreciate. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for someone to walk their dog as I always knew she was in good hands. Thank you Joseph!”

“Taylor was awesome! She was very considerate about the hot weather and took my dog out for a later walk if the pavement was too hot. She also left notes about if he peed or pooped so I knew he was on a normal potty cycle. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!”

About: Hi! My name is Ashlie, I live in Brooklyn Park, MN. I live right across from the Coon Rapids Dam, so there are miles of walking trails right outside my door and a brand new dog park just a block away. I have dog sat often for a variety of dogs for about ten years now. Dog sitting is so much fun for me, I really wish I could do it full time. However, I’m a dental assistant M-F, typically out of the house 12:30-8pm. I have an 11 year old westie named Merlin. We love hiking and going to dog parks and breweries together. He’s a very social dog and used to being around other dogs. I love all dogs so much and will treat every dog like they are my own. If you need a dog sitter for the weekend, I will be taking your dog on several walks and to various parks each day, they will come home tired and happy! I can't wait to meet your furry friend!! Thank you for considering me! I’m mostly available on weekends to dog sit. I am happy to watch your dog on weekdays if they are ok while I’m at work from 1-8pm. I live right by coon rapids dam, so I can easily walk your dog on the many trails there or walk over to the dog park.

About: I've taken care of dogs of various breeds, sizes and ages for family, friends, and now people on Rover. I must say, I've met some pretty awesome dogs and people through Rover. I am retired, but clean a couple houses and a furniture store on a part-time basis. The longest I'm away is typically 4 to 5 hours on cleaning days. I don't have a dog of my own at this time. My Ella, sadly crossed the rainbow bridge in December of 2021. Crazy how your life totally changes when they are gone. I miss all my dogs more than anything and will some day have another dog or two. In the meantime, I get my dog fix by taking care of other people's dogs. I will provide exercise and companionship for your dog(s) as if they were my own. I know how hard it is to leave them when you want some time away. I will do my best to keep them on the schedule and routine they are used to.

About: I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I lost my 14 yr. old lab to old age 2 years ago, and just recently got a new yellow lab puppy here in March. I really missed having a travel companion! I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info should all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

“Being new to the Five Mile area & finding the right fit for a pet sitter was a bit daunting until I met Heather. She is very personable and professional & trustworthy. She will set up an initial appt to meet you and your pet and get all the information to provide the best care. I have used her for over a year when we plan to be out of town for more than overnite. She is very flexible, always texts and sends cute photo or video of her visit & will come by as often as needed, which gives me reassurance that all is well. Believe me...you don't need to fret.... your pet will be in the best hands possible!”
