About: I did the animal science program at boces for 2 years where I got to get hands on experience with all kinds of animals such as taking care of dogs. Due to taking the animal science program I am certified as a veterinary assistant. Right now I’m also going to school for my bachelors degree in canine training and management. I also have 2 cats of my own that I’ve had and taken care of since I was 11. Heads up I have 2 cats at home still so for boarding requests I cannot accept cat reactive dogs. It fits into my schedule for the summer because of college break because I won’t have school at all and I’ll be able to give a most of my time to your pets although I do have work Monday Wednesday and Thursday. Although since Monday Wednesday and Thursday I have work from 8 to 11:30 so if doing a boarding I wouldn’t be back home until 4:30 because of transportation depending so dogs have to be okay being home alone for a little bit. If I do house sitting I cannot get to a house after 7am and before 4pm due to transportation because I cannot drive due to medical reasons and only have transportation before 7am and after 4pm. Be up front and open. Follow and respect the animals and if you go to the home respect and follow the rules. I don’t have a fenced in yard.

I am truly committed to the time slots I say I am available. I have an indoor cat, but he loves to go outside, so I put a collar and a leash on him and take him out daily.

“Kelli was great the whole step of the way! Communication was on point. She watched our 4 dogs in our house for 6 days. Extenuating circumstances during our 5 day trip included a snowstorm and being stuck at an airport on the last day, hence having to extend Kelli’s stay to another day. She was very flexible and of course said she would help with the dogs another day. A++ for going above and beyond, especially during the snowstorm when we needed her help to communicate with the snow removal guys. Definitely recommend and will be happy to use her to watch our pups again in the future!”

About: I've loved dogs ever since I can remember. I have experience caring for every breed of dog imaginable. Never found one I didn't love to the moon and back. I am a firefighter so my schedule can vary but I'll have lots of time to care and love your pup and give them all the scratches they deserve. I treat others' homes just like my own, if not better. I also don't mind grabbing your mail, feeding other pets, or watering plants if needed.

I am very comfortable taking care of doggies, playing with them, and making them feel at home. They will also have the pleasure of running wild with our two fur-babies Bronté and Thoreau! Please rest assured that while your pets are in our care, your time away will be worry free! I am a stay at home mom and am home taking care of your dogs for the duration of their time with me. If you have any questions feel free to reach out! I will answer any questions you may have to make your experience with me as stress-free as possible! I run my business from my home so I am home most of the time other than appointments and errands so your dog will rarely be alone. I have a large yard and a lead to put your doggy on plus two fur-babies to keep your doggie company. My whole house is open to dogs but I am happy to crate if needed as well.

About: I’ve pet sat for family members but I’ve also and still currently pet sit for previous teachers. I’ve done an internship at a vet clinic. I completed boces which made me a certified veterinary assistant. I worked at the SPCA while finishing up college. Volunteered at Tanglewood Nature Center. Depending on my work schedule I spend as much time as possible outside of work with your pets. I don’t leave them alone for long at all. I’m easy going, my dog gets crated when I’m not home. I will make sure nothing is sitting out that could potentially harm an animal

About: I love dogs they can tell. I have a boxer that enjoy running with and playing engaging games. I don't mind walking and running in winter weather. I enjoy working with dogs that want to get out and run but I'm also enjoying working with dogs who have gained some pounds and need a walk... who hasn't been there!? I think happy dogs are less destructive dogs and less distructive dog means happier owner. My hours and availability maybe changing relatively soon, but I am available every day before 8 and every day after 3 im available for overnight stays or weekend stays. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all age and sizes since I was a child. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to do anything their pet needs while they’re away. In the future I’m looking to take a dog training course and slow transition into that as a full time job. Every morning I wake up and immediately tend to the dogs and let them outside to use the bathroom and play around, then we come Inside to eat breakfast to start the day. We go outside about 3x daily to potty and play. I have a big privacy fenced in yard for play time. I have 4 dogs of my own. However I typically do not let them converse with my boarding dogs unless known that they are friendly.

About: I have loved and worked with animals for as long as I can remember. I have always had pets in my house until now and would love to be able to help someone out while also spending time with their best furry friend(s). I love walking and being outside just as much as I love animals so your pets will definitely get the exercise that they need while still being carefully cared for and loved of course. As far as experience goes, I have always had at least one dog and cat in my home for the full 22 Years I have been alive. I have volunteered and worked on farms and in other animal care facilities with various animals and pets. I have watched others pets in their homes as well as mine numerous times and am always looking for new opportunities to meet and get to know more pets. I am currently unemployed besides doing care for Rover so my schedule is pretty much open. I love animals and caring for them as well as making sure they're happy. I like to make sure the environment I'm in, is at the very least, comfortable for everyone. I am highly animal friendly and love all types of animals.

About: I’ve always had household dogs&cats as well as taken care of friends/family’s pets since I was about 13. From my brothers labs,huskies and beagles, to cousins large and protective Rottweilers, to good friends hyper anxious dog with a cancer diagnosis. As well as other friends super hyper border collie and chiuahua. The most pets I cared for at once was five dogs and two cats. I’ve also cared for three cats and a bearded dragon at the same time. I myself have two cats I train, play with love and care for Currently searching for full time work, I pet sit, baby sit and freelance as of now. I used to work in cosmetic retail and of my freelancing is still in the realm of beauty. I have a very open schedule for pet care currently! I’ve driven all around for pet care before and always make it a point to ease into home of the pet. I also have always enjoyed dog walking or dropping in for a pet visit/check in, it’s like free pet therapy to me!

About: Transplant from NYC/NJ area to upstate NY - Residing in Elmira. I bring a lifetime of experience with pets and have walked/cared for others pets on a part time basis for many years - I enjoy all breeds of dogs from puppies to seniors and even those with basic medical needs. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy going for long walks, hikes, trails with my dogs/your dogs but also being a parent of two strong willed small dogs myself - I know how a short brisk walk to get in all the sights & smells is just as enriching. Play time or time spent providing companionship is essential. I'm here to calm your nerves and focus on what is important for you & your fur family member while you are at work or away for a long weekend or vacation. I work primarily from home, however my flexible schedule ensures I have time and space to attend to your fur family member. So wether it's a daily walk or sitting while you are away at work, an extended business trip or night away - your pet will also have a change in scenery & an enriching experience. Safety First and Fun 2nd. For those of you interested in my boarding services, we live on 7 secluded acres here in Elmira and take full advantage of that along with the beautiful rolling hills, trails and roads to take your dogs out for walks & stimulate their senses. And for those that have smaller dogs, and may prefer or require a modified outdoors experience I have a small fenced in dog run area that allows them to 'do their business'. I also have a large deck for the sun worshipers. I have a ring alarm on my front door. I bring all dogs in & out of the home via my garage to ensure all are properly leashed before going out for walks. I can crate dogs overnight if that is the preference otherwise the dogs will sleep overnight in my home office with pet cushions but the room would be gated off from the rest of the house during overnight hours. I feed on schedule & medicate upon schedules provided to me by the owner
