Samantha did a great job checking in on our cat, Louie. On a previous vacation, he came to a cat with a UTI because the person we hired (not through Rover.com) did not clean his box properly. Samantha kept us up to date on how Louie was doing and kept his boxes clean. We came home from vacation to a happy and healthy cat. I will definitely use Samantha again!

Isabella is an amazing cat sitter and we’re so glad we found her on Rover! She’s incredibly attentive to our cats’ routines and needs, and we felt completely at ease while we were away. Her communication is top-notch—she sent us daily updates and photos, which really helped us relax knowing our pets were happy and well cared for. She’s also super flexible and easy to coordinate with, which made the whole process stress-free. We’ll definitely be booking with Isabella again—highly recommend!

About: Trusted pet sitter with years of rescue & foster experience. Specializing in cats and small-to-medium dogs—including terriers, labs, retrievers & hounds. As a long-time animal lover, foster, and rescue volunteer, I understand how much your pets mean to you because mine mean the world to me, too. Over the years, I’ve welcomed dogs and cats from all walks of life into my home, offering patience, care, and love while they wait for their families, whether for the weekend or forever. At home, I share life with two wonderful companions: Gus, my gentle Maine Coon mix who became my gardening sidekick after finding me one summer in the Franklin Park neighborhood, and Dennis, my sweet and shy miniature poodle whom I fostered and then adopted. I’ve fostered several dogs this year and have loved and learned from them all. Each has their own story, and together they remind me daily of the joy pets bring into our lives. I’ve cared for many animals over the years, from Jack Russell mixes Daisy and her daughter Pearl, to a big-hearted hound named Andy, to rescued puppy-mill survivors like Dennis. My rescue work includes everything from daily feeding and walks to helping shy or fearful dogs feel safe again. I even keep a carrier in my car just in case I come across a lost animal because I believe in helping wherever I can. I’ve also had unique opportunities, like caring for two cavapoos during a stay in Washington State. Experiences like these deepened my love for one-on-one pet care, especially calm walks, drop-in visits, and creating safe, low-stress environments. Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life. Between caring for my own pets and fostering through rescue, my days already include walks, playtime, feedings, and plenty of cuddles. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to fit in drop-in visits and walks throughout the day or evening. Weekends are often open for longer visits or extra time with your pets. Because I live with both cats and a small dog, I’m experienced at balancing different needs and personalities, and I always bring that same patience and consistency to every pet I care for. Whether it’s a quick midday walk, a calm evening check-in, or weekend companionship, I make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and part of my daily rhythm. I care for my own pets — and those in my home — with love, attentiveness, and respect for their unique routines. I follow my housemate’s preferences when caring for her cat, just as I did in my previous home with three beloved dogs, each with their own needs and quirks. I bring that same level of care to every client visit. Whether I'm walking your pup or dropping in to check on your cat, I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and happy in your absence. Providing a detailed list of your pet’s routine and preferences helps me deliver the best possible care and gives us both peace of mind. Finally, I’m currently pursuing Red Cross Pet First Aid certification to provide an extra layer of safety and peace of mind for the pets I care for. While I already bring years of foster and rescue experience, I believe in always learning more to give every pet the best possible care.

About: I have 15 years of pet care experience. Growing up my grandmother always needed help with her cat and dog, whether it was feeding them or walking Spuds! I have experience in bathing both cats and dogs and I personally give my cats a quarterly wash-down. I am comfortable with administering topical ointments or giving shots if needed. I assisted many times with my local TNR program and have great experience with cats specifically. I am currently a part-time student and working an internship that is based on the EST time zone. So I am up early and ready to go at all hours. I am work from home and my classes are also online so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I will always animal proof homes regardless if it’s mine or not. Pets having access to fresh water is always a must. Caring for pets is a case by case as all of them have their own personalities! If they need quiet, that’s cool or if they’re more rowdy I can get down with that too!

We started using rover because we got our new dachshund puppy a few weeks ago. We wanted someone to help us keep up with his training when we both worked. Jade has been such a big help with Murphy’s training! She’s gone above and beyond what we expected of her and we are excited to keep having her help us! She’s great!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs ever since I got my first dog at 12 years old, and my love for animals has only grown since then. Friends, family, neighbors, and others have trusted me to care for their pets because I’m dependable, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I understand how important pets are to a family, and I always treat every dog like they’re my own. I recently graduated from college, which gives me a very open and flexible schedule! So I have plenty of availability to care for your pets throughout the week. My schedule can vary slightly depending on the week, but I’m very flexible and always willing to work with pet owners to find times that fit best! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I have experience caring for both my own dogs and others’ pets, and I always make sure they are supervised, safe, and well cared for in any environment.

I don’t leave reviews but Kayla went way above and beyond for me dealing with my dog getting sick and cleaning it and handling my injured dogs bandages coming off and reapplying them for me! I couldn’t give more praise to her and wouldn’t recommend anyone else if you want the best care for you’re pet!

About: I grew up with dogs but now I take care of other people’s dogs! Been dog sitting since 2020 and I have many regular families that love me! I work two part time flexible schedule jobs so I have lots of free time where I check on animals or go for a quick walk/feed! I personally don’t take animals to my own space unless needed, but I will stay the night if you want and always follow detailed instructions!

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs for as long as I can remember and have grown up around them my whole life. As a proud pet owner of a Goldendoodle, I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy, reliable, and caring looking after your pets. I genuinely enjoy walking dogs, spending time with them, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Your pet will be treated like family and cared for with patience, attention, and plenty of affection. I am currently a full-time nursing student, so my schedule can change about every couple of months depending on my classes and clinicals. In my free time, I’m looking to walk dogs and provide pet sitting because I truly enjoy caring for animals. I will always be open and honest about my availability and make sure to communicate clearly so pet owners can feel comfortable and confident leaving their pets in my care. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. Whether I’m providing walks, drop-in visits, sitting, or overnight stays, I give pets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while also making sure they are fed, hydrated, and comfortable. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs and will always communicate with owners through updates and photos so they can feel at ease while away.

About: I worked on a rescue for 6 years and also at a dog daycare/grooming center. So I am very comfortable around any breed and being around multiple dogs at once. Every breed of dogs is welcome in my heart. I currently work first shift Monday-Thursday. I do have a 5 year old son so prefer dogs that are good with kids. I am free during the evening and weekends and can do overnights. I like to take my dog on walks or hikes. There’s always constant cuddles and affection from me or my son. I allow dogs on my furniture. I’ve also taken care of dogs in a strict diet that need insulin and medication at a certain time.
