About: I am able to watch and take care of birds, reptiles, fish, and any other exotic pet you have. Hey there! My name is Penelope and I’ve been working for Rover 4 years now. I am open for all options and very flexible with any additional needs you or your furry friends may need! I have worked as a vet tech for 2 years and as a zookeeper for 2.5 years so I have a medical background. I have worked at a doggy daycare and for petco as the animal caregiver for 5 years. I have experience with lots of different animals from dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. As a pet owner I know they are like family, and it can be hard to leave them so I provide lots of updates with pics and I can be texted at any time. I am very active and love going on walks and giving your pets lots of attention! I am currently home full time so I have plenty of time to take care of and play with your fur babies. I am able to provide frequent potty breaks and checks. I have plenty of extra room in my house to keep everyone separated if anything ever happens. Plus lots of outside space to run around.

About: I’ve personally had dogs my whole life! I have experience with caring for senior dogs as well as puppies. I have a special place in my heart for labs, but I love them all! I’ve yet to meet a dog I don’t like. As a dog owner myself, caring for pets is part of my everyday life. I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable. For boarding, I offer Thursday evening drop-offs, and pets must be picked up by Sunday. This helps me ensure each pet gets the best care possible during their stay In my home, pets are treated like family. I have two friendly dogs of my own, Sunny and Ruby, so I understand the importance of maintaining a safe, loving, and structured environment. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication administration (if needed), and plenty of affection and attention. I also make sure pet parents receive regular updates and photos so they can feel confident their furry family member is happy and well cared for

About: I’ve been around animals for all of my life and have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and energy levels. I currently have a large friendly Bernedoodle of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling bigger dogs, energetic puppies, daily walks, feeding schedules, and lots of playtime! I also have an animal science and equestrian background, which has given me years of hands-on experience caring for animals and paying close attention to their behavior and individual needs. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I treat every animal as if they were my own and make sure owners receive plenty of updates and photos while they’re away. As a college student, my schedule gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week for pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and overnight care depending on the day. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine and will always communicate clearly about my availability so they receive consistent, reliable care! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, and household rules. I pay close attention to behavior and make sure pets are secure on walks and comfortable in their environment. I’m also happy to send plenty of photos and updates so you always know how your pet is doing while they’re in my care. I am also Cat and Dog CPR certified in case of emergency!

About: I’ve had and taken care of dogs my whole life, I often watch pets for members and have not had any incidents (thankfully!) i have 2 dogs who get along well with other dogs and would be happy to play. I love animals a lot and am currently taking classes transfer to be a vet technician, I worked as a kennel attendant at an animal daycare and I also am a volunteer at the Burlington animals shelter. I’m available weekends or weekdays after 6pm. While I am in school and do have a job, I’m often open and would be more than happy to have some extra critters in my home ❤️ I have a fenced in yard that has Shade it in to play and plenty of dog toys, I also have 2 dogs myself who would love to play. Food and water is always open and provided to animals and there is also a dog park a minute walk away from my home that if allowed I’d be more than willing to take the dogs to. Animals would also be provided with a bed and plenty of couch space if a nap is needed.

About: I began my journey learning about responsible pet care and dog training when I was ten years old and enrolled in 4H with my puppy. Since that early age I have gained professional experience in vet clinics, pet stores, and as a professional dog jogger. I did extensive research on positive reinforcement training when I adopted my shy, border collie mix puppy in 2020 and am a strong believer in its ability to form strong bonds and trust with any pet. I currently have a remote job that gives me open flexibility. I can also make evening visits and overnights stays throughout the week. I can work from your home on my laptop when I am pet/house sitting, providing a lot of companionship for your best friend! I will care for the pets in your home, where they feel most comfortable. I am open to developing pet care in my home for doggy daycare. I have a large fenced yard and am located right next to Cedarock Rock. I walk our dogs there almost daily. Our young dog Hugo would love a dog to play with!

About: I am an animal lover to the max. I have been a pet sitter for some years now and have enjoyed it all from training young pets to caring for our more senior animals. I am currently working from home, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets and tend to their needs. I would be happy to bring your pet along with me in my day to day. I have an unfenced, private yard and a puppy to keep your pets company. I can crate your dog if needed, and I have ample space to give them whatever space they need to feel comfortable.

About: Friends, coworkers, and family members have trusted me with taking care of their pets over the years. Most of my formal experience with caring for other peoples pets came during and after college, however I was raised around pets (cats and dogs) and learned how to be safe and responsible with animals when I was very little. I am very comfortable with a variety of breeds and temperaments. I have a good understanding of basic commands and have trained two of my own dogs from puppies. I grew up around dogs and cats (we had three golden retrievers at one point!) and always looked forward to getting a dog of my own. There is something about the bond between owner and dog that is special and unique. I enjoy having this bond with my own dog but I also love meeting new animals and seeing their personalities come out as they get comfortable interacting. I have been exposed to many types of dogs while dog sitting, visiting local dog parks, and traveling with our dogs to pet friendly locations. I am familiar with caring for dogs that take oral medication and/or have health problems such as limited sight or blindness. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about hiring me for boarding, dog walking, check-ins, or dog day care! I have one small child in the home, so any dogs staying with us during the day or overnight would need to be comfortable and well behaved enough to be around a young child. I wake up early and go to bed around 9pm/10pm. I have one dog in the home who is very friendly and well socialized. He takes little to no time to warm up to other dogs when introduced. Your dog will have plenty of space to be comfortable to chill and play! We enjoy spending time outside on nice days. When it is too hot or cold outside I make sure our pup gets playtime or enrichment toys/treats inside. I currently can offer dog walking services, daily check-ins for cats or dogs, and day/night boarding at our home (as long as your pet is a good and safe fit for a home with a small child). We have a large front and backyard as well as a carport/porch area. There is plenty of space for playing fetch, having the zoomies, or chewing on a treat while getting some fresh air, rain or shine! If your dog requires being leashed/walked when going potty, that is no problem. There is plenty of space to take them around the yard for sniffs and potty, as well as walkable streets near our house, and a beautiful park with a walking trail less than 2 minutes away. Our dog currently follows recall and commands to do his "business" and come back, but if we are caring for another dog we will leash them both or follow the owner's preferences and what they are comfortable with.
