“Jessica was great, my dog had the best day with her! My dog doesn't realize he's as big as he is, but she didn't mind him in invading her space and treated him like the spoiled four-legged baby that he is! She was so good to him and I greatly appreciate it!”

“Alex was amazing! She arrived on time, asked great questions and took notes, and was very communicative. We felt very comfortable with her staying in our home. She also sent sweet photos of our boys, who we could tell were having the best time. We will definitely book her again!”

About: I really love all animals, I have pet frogs, toads, lizzards, a cat, and Axelotl. I know how to take care of exotic pets. I used to be a dog bather, so I know how to work well with dogs, ive also helped raise a few puppies. Ive had cats my whole entire life so I'm super good with cats! Also just so you know, I am Transgender and Use he/him pronouns, my preferred name is Calcifer. With me owing so many pets I'm constantly taking care of my animals. But I currently only work a few days a week so I have a lot of free time currently! It will definitely depend on the clints home and behavior of their pets, but i try to always make sure the animals have all the care they need like , food, water, potty, outside, clean cages. I will make sure ur pets has the attention and care they need always!

About: I am a responsible adult professional who works from home. I have been fostering and pet sitting dogs, cats and farm animals for over ten years, from puppies to seniors to hospice care. I have experience with a variety of special needs and administering medicine. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. Your animals will rarely be home alone and if they will I will make sure to communicate that before the visit. I am flexible with exercise and diet based on the animal's needs. I am happy to feed treats and supplements according to the owners' preferences.

About: I’ve loved dogs as long as i can remember, I’ve been around dogs my whole life, had a Labrador Retriever growing up. My passion really began when neighbors would start asking me to dog sit for them. I always knew I wanted to do something with animals (mainly dogs.) a family friend told me about Rover & I immediately knew I had to become a sitter. I am very trustworthy and reliable & easy to reach! I currently do not have any pets in my home which makes me a great sitter if your dog isn’t a fan of other dogs/animals! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with your dogs & care for them. I currently only work 3 days a week for 4 hours so I’m VERY flexible! You can always count on the fact that your dog is SAFE. If you don’t have a fenced in yard, I will keep your dog leashed unless you say otherwise!

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I grew up with 6 other siblings and we always had animals around. I lost our beloved family dog about two years ago and I do not want to commit to raising another one since I like to travel. But on my down time, I really miss having a dog to love that’s why I thought this would be a great option! I recently retired so I have a lot of flexibility, and a lot more time to spend at home and to care for your dog. It’s just me and my wife that live in the home and she would be available to help if needed. We live in the country on a one acre lot so your dog would have a big area to roam! I am fine with the pet staying inside my home if that is what works best for you. I am happy to use a crate if that’s what’s preferred!

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life and genuinely love all animals. I had my first cat at age 4 and grew up with both cats and dogs. I also lived with a rescued pit bull for several years (she had a rough past and didn’t do well around other dogs), so I have some experience with anxious pups on walks. I understand how important it is to build trust and work at a pet’s pace. Whether your pet is social and playful or a bit shy and needs space, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at and give them the best care possible. Even with a full-time job in finance, I make time for what matters—and for me, that includes animals. I work a standard weekday schedule, but my evenings and weekends are all open for pet care. The flexibility of my job may allow for a late morning - early afternoon check-in. Whether its a walk, evening check-in, or weekend drop-ins, I’m happy to build a schedule that fits your pet’s needs. I also spend most of my downtime at home, so if your pets need longer visits, I can give them plenty of attention and company. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and committed to keeping your pet’s routine as normal and comforting as possible. I’ll follow your instructions closely—whether it’s feeding, medications, walking schedules, or just the way your pet likes their favorite toy tossed. I know every animal is different, and I take the time to get to know their personality and needs. If we arrange care in my home, your pet will be treated like one of my own. I have a calm, pet-friendly space and three cat companions who are used to other animals and are gentle and well-socialized. I always do a slow introduction and only bring in pets that I know will be comfortable in that environment. Safety and comfort are my top priorities, whether I’m in your home or you're trusting your pet with mine.

About: I’ve taken care of small to big dogs for almost 10 years now. I have a dealt with a handful of reactive dogs as well as plenty non reactive dogs, I was taught how to read dogs body language about 6 months ago and I’m still working on improving! I have dealt with scuffles as well as dogs that were very persistent. Currently I am at a doggy daycare Fridays and Saturdays taking care of daycare and boarding dogs. Sunday thought Thursday I am at home taking care of my own dog by continuing his training, taking him on walks, playing with him, and watching him play with his sister. In my home I care for my pets by making sure I give them attention, exercise, mental stimulation, fun outside time with bones and toys, as well as making sure my puppy stays rested after a long day. When taking care of clients pets I treat them the exact same way and I make sure I follow the owners instructions to ensure the best care for the best pups!

“Sami was able to help us pretty short notice with care for our two young pups. She is prompt to respond and aims to ensure the dogs have the best time while their family is away. She administers medications and sends photo updates thru the time away. Sami even helped water some patio planters. She definitely gives piece of mind when we can't be with the pups!”

About: I've grown up around dogs my whole life from the puppy stage to their senior years. I strive to care for your animals as my own and follow any rules/guidelines given to me by owners. I'm also a certified animal reiki practitioner. Animal reiki can help relieve stress and anxiety, as well as promote relaxation and overall well-being. Currently, I work till 6pm Monday to Friday, but from Friday night to Sunday night I'm completely available for any pet care requests that come my way! About: I grew up with dogs and as an adult, I have had 3 cats. Sadly they have passed away from old age. In the future, I plan on having another pet, but in the meantime, I can love and care for other people's animals! Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and take care of their pets. I do work full-time Monday through Friday, but my schedule would be available on weekends and some weekdays after 5:30 PM. Holidays can be an option also. My main values are providing safety, trust and love to your pets with respect to the pet owners. When I am with your pet you will be worry free!

About: I have loved having pets ever since I was a child. When I heard of Rover, I was so excited to be able to make a little extra money while getting to know some great pets! I look forward to meeting you! We are a family of 4, my husband works full-time. We have 2 kids living with us, 17 and 21. My schedule is a little flexible. Torrey S.Star Sitter

“EXCEPTIONAL! Torrey goes above and beyond and makes your pups change their mind on who they love most. :) She did a great job house/pup sitting. We look forward to having her back!”

Callista C.
“Cal is hands-down the best pet sitter—my animals are low-key obsessed with them. My dog gets more adventure time with Cal than with me, and my cat (who usually judges everyone) somehow becomes their clingy shadow. They’re super laid-back but also weirdly responsible—like, they’ll remember my dog’s weird snack ritual or which couch my cat claims as their throne. Plus, they send the funniest photo updates (my pets look happier than when I’m home, tbh). 10/10, would trust Cal with my entire zoo. Fair warning though: your pets might start preferring them over you. (My dog literally whined when Cal left. Rude.)”

Emily W.

“Emily did great with our dogs! Will for sure have her out again.”

Sarah W.
“Sarah has loved dogs all her life. She currently has two very happy and friendly dogs. She is absolutely a trustworthy individual who I would never hesitate to look after one of my fur babies. She has a huge backyard for them to run around and play. Dogs in her care always receive lots of love and attention.”

Jessica B.

“Jessie did a great job house sitting with our two dogs. It was over the 3rd of July & she made sure our dog with firework anxiety had her cbd oil & was well taken care of.”

Logan S.
“Logan has watched our dog several times for us in our home while we've gone on vacation. We most appreciate how much she loves our dog and the time and attention we know she's giving her when we are away. She is reliable and you can be assured your pet will be well taken care of!”

Makayla W.
“I’m a super anxious pet parent and Makayla is one of the few people I trust to look after my 3 cats. You can tell she genuinely loves all pets and strives to care for yours as if they are her own. She is excellent at following detailed instructions which is absolutely essential for my furry family because they all have different dietary restrictions and routines that must be followed. Makayla’s company and care was a saving-grace the first time I had to leave my cats alone for a longer trip abroad and I (and my cats!) would absolutely have her back in a heartbeat. She made me feel like she really respects the level of care I expect with my cats and I was able to leave them without worry that something would happen to them or they would be lonely while I was away. I cannot recommend Makayla enough to my fellow pet parents.”

Anyka A.
“Anyka has a great enthusiasm about dogs. She grew up with an Australian Shepherd who was her entire world. Ever since she was little she showed a certain love for dogs that I had not seen. She loves taking care of dogs and ensuring the best care possible. Taking care of dogs is definitely her biggest passion and I love seeing her go after this job.”

Samantha H.

Jenna S.

“Jenna went above and beyond for our pups, we will definitely use her again!”

Mitchell A.
“Mitch is the most loving and reliable pet caregiver. He has watched my cats countless times and my cats are sometimes more happy to see him than me! He has his own cat that he rescued and is very involved with his local animal shelter. He is an all around pet lover and can constantly be found petting a cat or playing fetch with a dog. I would recommend Mitch to anyone looking for a responsible and caring pet sitter or dog walker!”

Melanie S.
“Melanie is so kind and caring! She was so loving to my dog and took great care of her. I would definitely trust her with my dog again. I highly recommend Melanie as your pet caregiver!”
