“Karina came and stayed in my home with our dog who just received his first heart worm injection. He was very lethargic and unable to travel with us to drop my son off at camp. About: I have been taking care of dogs for my neighbors my friends and family I really like walking them I do anything to make them feel good. I have about 7 dogs and I take care of them so it's regular for me It's a daily thing i do each day so it is common for me. Most of the time in my house inside the house all depends what kind of dogs is small or big dogs but if you dogs It's an inside dog it doesn't matter the size.

About: I've had pets all my life. My first pet was at about 5 years old and I have a distinct memory of when I found out I had my first puppy. I've adopted and taken in strays all my life, tended to their needs and I can remember almost every single one's name. I have handled medicine, treatment and anything that comes with owning a pet from dogs, cats to guinea pigs and hamsters. I have experienced taking care of puppies and adult dogs as well, indoors and outdoors. I have experience with taking care of other's pets and pets tend to be pretty welcoming with me usually. I have the love and patience for any kind of animal or pet that needs it. I'm currently working part time and working on a couple of other business ventures so I have fair flexibility. I have weekends free for the most part. I have kids but they would be more than willing to help if it can benefit, but they are also independent enough to stay home while I work. I can only care for small/medium pets as home as I am limited to space and have other pets at home as well. Coming to a home or taking a pet out for a walk or to the dog park works. I spend a lot of time at parks and outdoors and usually try to find activities in the area. I can work with going to the pet owner's home and staying there if necessary.

“Wendy did an amazing job with our pups! She sent pictures every visit throughout the visit. We had an emergency and was unable to come home the day we thought and Wendy was able to help us out. Would definitely book her again.”

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with pets in all stages of life—from playful puppies to senior dogs. I’ve successfully helped train family and friends’ dogs to go potty outside, and I take pride in being attentive, patient, and interactive with every pet I care for. Whether it’s training, playtime, or just providing comfort, I treat every pet like family and tailor my care to their individual needs. I work mornings as a barista and usually finish by 3 PM, which leaves my afternoons and evenings open for pet care. This flexible schedule allows me to give pets plenty of attention, exercise, and playtime throughout the rest of the day and even on weekends. In my home, your pup will have a safe, fenced yard to play in and will be alongside my friendly boxer—unless they need their own space, which I can easily provide. I stay with your pet the entire time to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’m also experienced with dogs who need extra attention, whether it’s giving medication or cleaning up after accidents. Your dog’s safety and happiness always come first!

About: Hi! I have experience with cats & dogs. I have 2 cats of my own as well as 2 family dogs. I have helped friends and family with their pets whether at their place or I’ve had them at my place. I love all kinds of dogs and cats. They will be treated as they are part of the family. I currently work part time and mostly from home. I have time to take dogs out for their potty breaks as well as out for walks & out to play. I have 2 cats that are dog/cat friendly. I do have children who also are pet friendly. They love animals and tend to want to keep a pet in their room. If you’re okay with that, they would love it. I can also crate them if you prefer that. We treat animals like family.

“I recently had Crystal take care of my two dogs and one cat during a week-long trip. While most aspects of the care were satisfactory, I was a bit concerned that one of my dogs didn't receive the level of exercise I had specifically requested. The rest of the experience was fine—she kept the house tidy, and the pets were well-fed and otherwise well taken care of. Crystal was responsive to messages and followed most of the instructions I left. However, I would have appreciated more attention to the exercise needs of my dog. Overall, a good service, but room for improvement.”

About: I have had experience taking care of dogs for about ten years taking care of neighbors dogs when they would leave out of town and independently doing drop in visits and dog walking when owners needed the extra hand. I have so much free time since I work from home, I would give your pet the loving attention it needs while your away. I wouldn’t want to miss spending that time with a loving dog. Every service is different and so is the dog. But other than that I will provide the same love to them all. The needs of the dog are really important to me and will follow all directions each owner has.

“Elvia was a kind person and gave Cassie plenty of love and attention. We appreciated her checking in often and sending us pictures. Being a first time user of Rover, we were concerned when the first morning she did not show up for 2+ hours after the designated time to let our dog out and feed her. I tried several times to contact her with no response. Things seemed to run more smoothly after that.”

Alison Y.
“Alison is always my go to pet sitter. Not only is very attentive with my cats, she’s also so kind and sends me photos/videos of them interacting. There have been several times where Alison has watched my fur babies for more than two weeks at a time, and I always come back to find my home in order, and my pets happy. What cannot be overstated here is that she is trustworthy. I’ve definitely had pet sitters in the past who “rummaged” through my things, didn’t clean the litter boxes, or left a general disarray. In my book, she’s the only one I call. You won’t regret having her take care of your fur family!”

Colleen C.
“I hired Colleen to watch my animals while I was out of town and she did a great job. She prepared their food, made sure they were fed on time, and even cleaned up after them and gave them baths. We strongly recommend hiring her!”

Alyson M.
“Alyson is a phenomenal dog sitter. She graciously stayed at my house, where my dog is most comfortable, and cared for him there. She took him on walks and played with him, despite the heat and the mosquitoes! She sent pictures to update me while I was gone and asked questions to ensure she was giving my dog the best care. I would highly recommend hiring Alyson to keep your dog or cat, and I will be requesting her services again soon!”

Ruby L.
“Ruby has watched my fur babies several times. I adopted two baby kittens about 3 years ago and Ruby has cared for them when my husband and I have gone out of town. She made sure they were fed, had fresh water and cleaned their area. She would also stay and entertain them. I have always been pleased with the care Ruby has given them. Ruby P”

Midway South pet parents share their Rover experiences
Aleria is an earnest and caring young woman. She was contracted to house and pet sit for 16 days, and that's a really long time. The house was in perfect condition when we returned (except for a few pee spots), but I think that means she wasn't staying the night. The dogs were in good health upon our return, although Hermes was constipated. I think that indicates she didn't add rice and pumpkin to his nightly dinner consistently. But she did something we will always be supremely grateful for. When Inanna developed a bad limp, she took her to emergency vet services and paid with her own money! Of course, we reimbursed her. But I think that shows great maturity and responsibility and concern for the animal's welfare above all else. You can't beat that. So we had a few crossed wires on expectations, but in all fairness, she had a lot of family responsibilities come up, too, and she lives on the other end of the valley. No damage done in the long run. I think she'd be a great sitter for a shorter duration and for some place closer to her home base. I would certainly consider her for future stays.
