“I am thrilled to share my heartfelt recommendation for Bailey O'Brien, our incredible dog sitter who has brought boundless joy and peace of mind to both me and my beloved furry companion. From the moment Bailey stepped through our door, it was evident that she possessed a rare and exceptional connection with dogs. Her genuine love for animals radiates in every interaction, creating an atmosphere of trust and comfort that my pup immediately responded to. What sets Bailey apart is not just their professionalism but their unwavering dedication to the well-being of the dogs in her care. Rain or shine, Bailey exhibits a remarkable reliability that provides an invaluable sense of security for pet owners like myself. I never have to worry about my pup's safety or happiness when Bailey is on the job. One of the aspects I appreciate most about Bailey is her personalized approach. She took the time to understand my dog's unique personality, preferences, and energy levels, tailoring each visit to ensure a happy and fulfilling experience. Communication is key when it comes to entrusting someone with the care of a cherished pet, and Bailey excels in this department. About: I've taken care of many different types of animals including dogs, cats, birds, pigs, guinea pigs, and rabbits. They've been all different breeds and sizes. I am willing to travel to your home so that your pet can stay in a familiar and safe environment for them. I work full time during the summer but am available throughout the day to stop at the house when needed and am available for overnights. I like to meet with potential clients beforehand so that they can get to know me and that I can also learn more about their pets, house, and typical schedules. This creates a foundation of trust that is important to my business.

About: 1.Introduction 2.Description of home 3. Brief overview of experience 4. Policies Hi, I'm Mary! 14 years ago, My pup Lee and I started the business of walking city streets, running, swimming, hiking, boarding friends, and house sitting; all in the name of dog! Since his passing, my twin four year olds and I are looking forward to making new pupper friends. We live in a beautiful home on an organic farm. This year marks the 14th year and third state in which I've tended to puppies, dogs and senior puppers. Since moving to Vermont 8 years ago, my home has been referred to as "farm camp." This is because: pups who are able to enjoy the farm experience off leash! While I enjoy tending to the greater dog population in its entirety, senior dogs, ones who take medications, those living with physical and developmental ailments and pups nearing end of life are my specialty. While the latest DSM may not have nature deficit disorder printed on its pages, I know it effects not only people but more importantly, dogs! I value and understand that exercise specifically in the wilderness provides a focused energy released followed by contentment. Starting in Providence, R.I., Lee and I took off walking city dogs. Over time, I curated two hiking packs of dogs. All off leash, good recall and, worked together navigating trails with minimal tiffs. Between my city walkers and packs, I began boarding. While I had my regulars, I wanted to offer support in other ways. Middle of the night emergency visits, families dealing with unforeseen events and parents who needed a break even though, their pup was nearing end of life. I've waited with dogs to board planes and have been at the airport to pick them up. Arranging wedding arrivals/departures and transport to/from vets. On several occasions, I've had the honor of being there for a pup's end of life. Since this is a new space for your pup, it's important that we stick to your in home structure as much as possible. This allows them to feel more comfortable and stress free. This means I will ask for a list of usual commands, eating times, toys, blankets and beds. If your pup has any quirks, I like to know! The more information, the better! When scheduling pick up and drop off times: if you're going to be late please kindly send a text update. I am extremely flexible with times! Not communicating information is a big issue and can lead to scheduling conflicts. For every 45 minutes that you're late and lack communication you will be charged an additional $10. My rate for overnight stays are based on a 24 hour period. If your drop off to pick up time goes over the 24 hour period, I charge a prorated amount to match the time difference. If your drop off to pick up time is less then 24 hours, it is a flat rate of $40. Thanks for reading and I look forward to speaking with you. I recently sold one of my businesses to focus on an endeavor I'm more passionate about, free Lance writing. I'm also enrolled in school first time. I only take senior, free range puppers. While your dog will NEVER be out of my sight, I only allow free rangers. If you have any concerns about your dogs recall, we are not the right family for you.

15. Bambi D.

“Bambi was so easy to work with. The pups and kitten were in such amazing spirits when we returned, and the house was even cleaner than we left it! She was very responsive, and even took a trip to the house before the stay to meet the gang, and get to know the place. Highly recommend.”

16. Cristina K.
“Cristina at Bow Wow Babysitters is the hardest working and most caring pet sitter provider in the business. She has cared for my dogs (and even our horses) many times in my home and I leave knowing my little girl Stella will be so happy with Cristina to take her for walks, give her lots of loving and well cared for. I'm very thankful that there are people like Cristina out there to help keep our pets safe and happy when I travel.”

17. Amelia P.
“It's clear Amelia has a genuine love for all animals. She shows a calm caring nature while with them, and brings an impressive sense of responsibility for their needs and health. All of this, as well as showing great respect for your four-legged family member. If you want a loving pet caregiver, I would highly recommend Amelia for pet sitting.”

18. Meghan D.
About: I was born an animal lover, starting with my love for horses I grew to fall in love with every creature I come in contact with. I've worked on farms from the age of 10 so I could get horse back riding lessons. Then worked my way to full time groom at a performance horse stable at the age of 16. At the age of 17 I started working as a part time kennel attendant at a veterinary hospital and moving up to a technician assistant, then vet tech. I have also been a full time pet groomer for 7 years. Helping to run a fantastic grooming salon that specializes in cats and medical/behavior issued animals that has strengthened my abilities and attention to details in caring for pets of all types and sizes! My daily schedule is currently wide open while i make my dream come true of building my very own grooming salon here in the mountains of Vermont. I have a fenced yard that your pups are free to roam in while being attended. They will also have the ability to play or socialize with my 3 dogs as long as they get along! If I stay at your home I will stick to any routine you have with your pets and treat them as my own. I am very active and love a good walk or hike in the woods.

19. Ava F.

“Ava was great with our little dog. She always came to give her food and take her out for a walk. She changed her pad and picked up her poop. She took out the trash. Super recommended. I would use her services again.”

20. Mollie M.
About: I have taken care of pets since I was a little kid! I have experience with pets of all types, ages & personalities. Friends & family have relied on me to walk, feed & housesit for their animals. I work full time time job but I have most mornings free. My schedule rotates so I would not be able to have the same availability every week, but please reach out with dates & times! I would love to make something work. I can come to your house and walk your dog. If you are interested in an overnight board at my house the dog would have to be good with my 15lb poodle mix & two cats. It would be ideal that the dog comes with a crate to stay in, as my dog is crated as well when we are out of the house. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I live near a dog park, and in a nice spot to walk dogs.
