“Our dog had a great time with Tina and her dogs! We received picture and video updates and know that our dog had lots of play time with Tina and her dogs as she took a very long nap after she was back home. 🙂”

“Carleigh was very sweet and took great care of Finney! She fed and walked him and played with him, and he came home very happy! She was a great first Rover experience. We would recommend Carleigh to anyone!”

About: I have cared for my family's pets for over 30 years, I love meeting new animals and getting to know their personality! I have experience at every stage of a pet's life, from puppies and kittens to elder pets. I have experience administering mediation, caring to your pet's specific needs, assisting disabled pets, training puppies and crate training. I am dedicated to being a caring and thoughtful pet-sitter. I love animals and can't wait to meet your special friend! I currently have 1 dog and 2 cats. My dog, Zoey, is a 2-year-old puppy that I got at 12 weeks old, so my puppy training skills are fresh! I also have 2 cats, Archie and Theo, who are brother cats from the same litter. I've had them since they were kittens. Zoey grew up with the cats, so she is well trained with cats and she is very well behaved. Zoey and the cats get along with other animals very well. They are sweet, loving pets that play together and nap side-by-side. I work from home full time, so I am always at the house. I am very flexible to whatever your pet's routine is. Whatever they need, I can incorporate it into my day. At booking, I will provide a questionnaire and you can advise me of any needs or requests for your pet's routine, and I will make their routine a part of mine! In my home, I provide pets with several comfortable areas for them to lounge and sleep in, with bedding and blankets. I also provide several toys and chew toys that are usually left out for them to play with (unless requested not to). Meals are kept on schedule and any mediation or vitamins are administered on-time. Water is always filtered and clean, changed daily (or use a continuous running system). Safety is my top priority. I want to ensure that your pet has a safe and relaxing time during their stay, I will provide a separate room for your animal if needed or requested, with their own bedding and play-area. I have several rooms in the house that are not used, so I keep this space reserved for your pets. I will collect your vet information at booking and take your pet to their vet if necessary; I also am a member of the local Dauphin County Animal Hospital, which I can use if needed for emergencies. I will maintain communication with you and check-in daily with photos; I am also open to take any inquiries, if you would like to check-in on your pets.

About: I have experience in pet care, including dog sitting and walking. I ensure your pet feels comfortable and loved while you’re away, providing companionship, feeding, and playtime. On walks, I prioritize safety and exercise, tailoring the pace to your dogs needs. I am a teacher so summers are very free for me. I am able to provide your dog with much needed love and care and I have a lot of time for walks and visits to the dog park! I have a very friendly dog to keep your furry friend company which also means my house is very clean pet proof! I am very organized so I will be able to keep your dogs feeding schedule on track while you are gone as well.

About: Always joking that dogs are superior but in truthfulness love all animals. Experienced with dogs but open to providing care for other pets. Will strictly adhere to owner requests, so long as they are humane. (Furniture ok vs not allowed, food/walking schedule, treats, etc.). There will be no shortage of affection and attention, assuming the pet is receptive. Open to assisting with reactive or challenging pets. Attempting to build a trusting bond is an inherent desire. Work from home so (brief) walks, potty breaks, playtime, etc can be provided through entirety of day. Longer walks before 8am or after 5pm. Available 24/7 on weekends and holidays. Live alone so no concerns about other pets or children. Have decent sized yard but do require a leash since there is no fence. Safe, quiet, and friendly neighborhood.

“I was overjoyed to hear that Emily was still available to sit my pups given the state of our world with the COVID-19 Pandemic! While working remotely has its advantages and disadvantages, one of which covers both: pets at home surrounding you when working, a blessing and a curse. Fortunately, by Emily's willingness to watch my dogs for a doggie day care and play date with her dogs gave me the needed relief from them and the necessary exercise for them. It worked out perfectly! While following CDC's guideline of 6-feet apart, not entering her home, and neither of us ill, I feel the day was a great asset to my remaining sane through this challenging landscape we all find ourselves in. Thanks, again, Emily! My pups love visiting and I love visiting your menagerie, too!!”

My job allows me to see various dog behaviors, and how to deal with animals when they are stressed or in distress. As an animal lover myself, I know how hard it is to leave your loved one behind while away. I am trustworthy, respectful, and responsible; with credible references. I am currently looking to sit/walk during my off-time which happens to be about 5 days out of the week. I would be available anytime: morning, noon, or night. I have a larger dog named Bear. His name speaks for itself! He is 100 pounds of pure love for anything he sees. Bear is special and will give your pet space if need be. His previous best friend was a 6 pound Chihuahua!
