“Kayla and her family made our dogs feel at home. They were well cared for, we got daily updates and pictures. I really appreciate knowing how they are while I’m gone. Our dogs were happy to see us, but went back in the house to say good bye to the family before saying good by to Kayla and her family. Thank you all for the care and love you gave our fur babies.”

“Diana took great care of Maggie. And she was willing to work with me when I extended my vacation. Loved the pictures she sent to ease my mind about leaving Maggie for eight days! I will definitely ask for her help again!”

“Elsie is a very nervous dog and scared of everything, Melissa was very kind and patient with her and I never worried that she wasn’t getting the best of care! I received pictures and updates regularly which just made us happy and put us at ease. Melissa is caring and kind and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a care giver for you puppy. By the time I went to pick Elsie up I felt like we’d be friends forever thank you Melissa!”

“Highly recommended! Our 5 month old puppy was so well cared for, and we could tell right away that she felt comfortable and happy. We really appreciated the daily updates and photos—it gave us peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. We couldn’t have asked for a better first Rover stay and will definitely be booking again.”

“Khanh took amazing care of our dog! I highly recommend her! She took care of our dog as if he was her own. She goes above and beyond to ensure they are comfortable. My dog had a great time. She is very reliable and trustworthy. We will definitely use her again!”

“Sarah was a great dog sitter. She was easy to work with and my dog loved being there. She sent photos and let me know how things were going while we were away. I highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs.”

“Was my first time using rover and was nervous to leave my girl. Great communication, she was thoughtful, and tentative to my dogs needs! If you’re looking for a sitter she’s your person!”

“Brittany was amazing! Her and her husband took very good care of our pup! I was impressed with her professionalism and kindness! We received lots of great pictures and videos and updates about our dog, and we really appreciated that! I would highly recommend her for all types of dogs as she has pet sitting in many different breeds!”

“As a first-time Rover user and a nervous dog mom, I was hesitant to leave Banjo with anyone, especially since we just adopted him from a shelter. However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. Banjo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had the best time with Jenelle and her own dogs. I think he was a little upset that we were taking him home because he had so much fun!! We’re so grateful for her wonderful care and will absolutely be leaving Banjo with her for all our future trips. Highly recommend!!”

About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.
“We love Hailey! Our dog Hazel had some separation anxiety issues and she worked through them with her, plus made us feel at ease. She also gives needed medications for our pup! Hailey is so patient! ❤️”

“Deborah was awesome! I have a very anxious 15 year old Malshi and she took such good care of him. Our little guy was there 3 nights and Deborah kept me updated every day which I appreciated so much. I would HIGHLY recommend her and would definitely ask her to take care of him again!”

“Boarding with Lola was great! We were worried about our sweet boy Franklin as we’ve boarded at our doggie daycare before and he didn't do very well. So heading into this boarding experience, we were nervous to leave but Lola made the experience so much less stressful! We felt comfortable leaving him with her from the start! We also got pictures and videos through the boarding experience and Franklin looked like he was having the best time! Thank you for taking such good care of our boy 💙”

“Keandra went above and beyond to make sure my dog had a good time. She also was very flexible with pickup/drop off times which was helpful since I had a flight early in the morning. She also gave my dog a free shower and made sure he got plenty of exercise and play time with her dogs. 100% would recommend Keandra”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable with daily routines like feeding, walks, playtime, litter box cleanup, and administering basic medications when needed. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique needs and personality so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their happiness, safety, and well-being. I work full time for USPS as a mail carrier. I have two days off each week. I’m always off Sundays. Once I’m off work usually around 5/6pm I’m free! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I maintain a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment in my home, free of hazards and closely supervised at all times. I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special requirements. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect your space and your pet’s routine to help them feel secure and stress-free. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure and I provide regular updates so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and genuine care, and I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet—and your home—in someone else’s hands. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and dependable experience for both you and your pet.

“Leslee was easy to work with, keeps a good environment for pups, and was reliable. Our dog Daisy had lots of fun staying with her and bonded with her little family during our vacation! Will definitely book again!”

“Jennifer was great!! She watched our 7 m/o Lab for the weekend and was very communicative and sent lots of pictures/videos. Would 100% recommend her to anyone and we will use her again if needed! Thank you Jennifer!!”

“So, we all love our dogs. I personally think my dogs are the best dogs in the world, and worthy of the very best care, and someone who will allow them to feel loved when we need to leave them behind. The reality is that we never know exactly what is happening with our beloved pets when we entrust them to someone else. My fur-babies can’t tell me. So the best we can do is look for someone who we believe is trustworthy and caring. What do I believe? I believe that Amanda and her family are caring and honest. This family has a great capacity for love, and my dogs feel loved when they stay with them. Amanda and her husband have their hands full caring for 5 kids, work schedules, and volunteering in their community. But they also have the energy and organization skills to excel in handling their responsibilities. My dogs have 5 kids/teens to play with them, and that also makes them happy. Their new house currently only has a small enclosure in the back yard. But my furbabies were apparently taken out on a leash regularly. I believe them when they say that they will be enlarging the fenced area in the near future. I do not hesitate to recommend Amanda and her family. If your dogs need a family that takes the time to play, cares for them, and takes time to snuggle with them, I believe this family is your best bet.”

Brittany was amazing with our dogs!! Just met her last week and she last minute watched our dogs. We met first so the dogs could meet her kitty’s. And that went well. I really loved how much she communicated while we were gone and all the updates she sent me. It was my puppy’s first time away at a sitters and she did amazing with her. Will be using her again.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
