“We had never left our pup with a “sitter” until we had to leave for a week to a place where we couldn’t take her. Sarah is the most amazing dog lover!!! Molly was so happy with her!! Sarah sent pictures regularly and Molly was more spoiled there than at home! We will never take her back to a kennel and every time, we can’t take her, she will be with Sarah!! It was so nice not to have to worry about her while we travelled!!”

“Megan is an amazing dog sitter. My dogs receive so much attention during their stay, with plenty of playtime, walks, and cuddles. It’s clear they are well cared for and genuinely loved while they’re there. Megan and her children are incredibly kind, and my dogs absolutely love spending time with them. I always feel at ease knowing my dogs are in such a warm and caring environment. Highly recommend.”

“Caitlin did an amazing job caring for my pups. She provided consistent photos and videos of my babies having fun on her land getting along with her pups too. I will definitely have my pups stay with Caitlin again with 100% trust that she will care for them as if they were her own.”

“Guillermo is a wonderful person to care for your pet. We took our dog, Bob, for a pre-meet to make sure we were comfortable leaving him with Guillermo. They loved each other immediately. Guillermo's dogs were friendly and accepting of Bob. When we brought Bob back for his stay, he joyously ran to Guillermo like he had known him his entire life. Bob and one of Guillermo's younger dogs played and had a wonderful time together. I cannot say enough about how relieved we are to find such a great, dog-loving person to care for Bob when we need to leave him.”

“I appreciate that Alejandra was available and willing to take care of my baby for a whole week with just a one week notice. She is personable and flexible, making the intro visit a breeze. She knows how to handle meds, which is a big deal for me since my baby needs different meds twice daily. She seems to love and pamper doggies- my baby was barking at me from Alejandra's bed when I went to pick her up.... TRAICIONERA! I would definitely use Alejandra again if available.”

Now retired and home full-time, I have the flexibility to provide attentive, reliable, and loving care for your pets. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the deep respect, love, and attention I give every animal in my care. I truly believe animals show us how to love, live in the moment, and connect with the world around us. Because of that, I see caring for pets as more than a job — it’s a responsibility I take seriously and a relationship I genuinely value. My dedication to their care, comfort, and protection makes me a strong advocate for their joy and safety. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, routine, and emotional needs so they feel secure, understood, and loved while their owners are away. I have experience caring for pets of all ages and temperaments, including energetic young pets who need patience, consistency, and exercise, as well as senior pets who benefit from gentleness, extra monitoring, slower walks, medication support, and calm companionship. Whether a pet wants to play, cuddle, explore, or simply rest quietly nearby, I adapt to what makes them happiest and most comfortable. My goal is always to create a peaceful, loving environment where pets are treated like family and owners feel complete peace of mind. Every day starts with pets first. The morning begins with fresh water, a snack if needed, and then straight outside to the fenced backyard for a potty break. For dogs, the next part of the routine is one of my favorites — a 3–4 mile walk to help them get exercise, stimulation, and a happy start to their day. After the walk, we settle in for breakfast if that’s part of their routine. Because I’m home throughout the day, pets are never left without attention for long. While I’m cleaning, kitchen prepping, or working around the house, I take frequent breaks for cuddles, playtime, and backyard visits. Whether it’s dogs or cats, I make sure every pet gets regular affection, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I truly enjoy creating a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. I care with attention, intention and detail. I check in often and spend time just sitting with and talking to. I give So much LOVE.
“Luisa is simply A M A Z I N G! I hence peace of mind when my Bruno is with her. If he runs out of food, Luisa has no problem getting it for him. On Brunos birthday we were out of town and she made it a point to get him a doggie cake and sing Happy Birthday to him. I highly recommend her. She is the BEST!”

“Here’s a cleaner, grammatically improved version while keeping your tone: Jennifer was excellent at taking care of my dog. I was in town to attend a concert, and at the last minute she was able to take care of my dog for the night. She responded quickly and provided constant updates. It definitely gave me peace of mind that my dog was in good hands!”

About: Going to college to become a Veterinarian to run my own clinic. Studying Animal Sciences and Rangelands. Have always owned Dogs or pets. Believes animals are better than being around people. I am home 24/7! I love being around my dog and my family! I love taking them on walks or to dog parks and giving them treats! Enclosed fence, our dog loves all other dogs, can give care attention and time need. Will offer treats willingly. We know the neighbors and our safe neighborhood!
“Isabel's service was exceptional, we were very satisfied with her work, kindness and affection that she offered to our beloved pet. We will definitely leave Pita with Isabel again, Thank you very much Isabel!!! Great Service Rover. Pier Giono”

“Keziah took such good care of our 5 month old mini aussiedoodle puppy for a week. It was the first time we had left her, so it was nerve racking, but Keziah sent daily texts and photos which greatly relieved our minds. She is very friendly and kept our puppy on a great schedule. We would definitely book her in the future, should we need to leave our furbaby.”

About: I grew up on a farm just outside of hutch, so we had a large variety of animals, including but not limited to cats, dogs, and even a tortise at one point! I’d love to help meet all your needs and your animals needs in anyway possible! I recently moved to new mexico, but i am at home all day everyday! I am currently a travel nurse, but I am home a lot with my schedule, so my 5 cats and 1 dog, all are fully vaccinated get a lot of one on one time. But I love taking care of animals so that’s why I’m doing this. It fits really well into my ever changing routine. I currently live in a 56 foot Sanibel camper, but it is a pet friendly camper. My 5 cats Jezabell, Bogey, Penner, Don Julio, and Eve are very friendly and easy to get along with. They have free range food, as i tried to limit it and it just wasn’t working for them so Im trying this and it seems to work very well for them. They also have whatever they could ever want in water and toys, and I clean their litter boxes at least once a day to make them happier :) Ripley goes on walks morning and night, and is out of her kennel all day with me most days. But she is crate trained and very respectful but also playful!
“Murissa took care of our Bella for a week. She provided pictures and videos daily. We will book with her next time we need someone to watch our fur baby. We highly recommend her to anyone considering leaving their fur baby with someone.”

Diana is amazing!!! Words cant express how amazing she is with our bulldog. We have used her many times and wouldn’t look any where else. When we leave our dog who we consider another child with her, we have peace knowing she’s being well taken care of. She sends a lot of pictures through the sitting and our dog is having so much fun. With her you can be assured your animal is in great care!!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NM ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
