About: Hi there! My name is Gabi and I have about 10 years of pet care experience. I’ve worked with puppies, adult dogs, and seniors! I have spent time working at boarding facilities where I administered all kinds of medications and kept up with individual dogs’ feeding schedules. I genuinely enjoy walking dogs and being active, but also don’t mind if your pup is more of a couch potato that just wants some company. Whatever their needs, I’ll be there for them AND you! I’m a county employee so I do work full time, but on the days that you schedule me, I’ll be completely available to you! I also understand that sometimes life happens and I’m more than willing to be flexible when needed! Each dog is an individual and I like to take my time getting to know each dog I work with. I have previous experience working at a behavioral center for dogs, so if your dog is fearful or maybe even a little reactive here and there, that’s totally okay! I will always take the time to connect with your dog on their timeline

About: I have been a dog owner for more than 18 years and I've been around cats and dogs my whole life. My partner and I, along with our 4-year-old Pyrenees mix, provide a safe, loving space with tons of room to run, and heaps of belly rubs. I'm currently working part time as a property manager on a 50 acre estate. My partner works from home. So one or both of us is around. We both take our dog for a long hike/bike/one wheel ride every evening that we would love to take your buddy with us. If I have take your dog to work I have a Tacoma with a camper shell that I bring Stevie in. It's safe and lockable so you can be assured that your fur baby is safe. We live in a single family home with two floors outside the Meyers roundabout. We allow dogs on couches, beds and have indoor and outdoor dog beds. We are a block away from miles of trails down to the Truckee river. Also I love running my dog Stevie with my one wheel around paradise park. Which is around 4 miles round trip. So if your dog needs lots of running and is safe on or off leash Ive got the toy for them. When not walking or riding we have a large fenced backyard (especially for Tahoe). So they won't be couped up inside. Please let us know what your best friend needs and we'll do our best to accommodate.

About: I connect very well with animals. I have owned and cared for animals throughout my life, including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, etc. I love animals. I am currently retired. I enjoy being outdoors and playing musical instruments. My schedule is quite open, however I do travel several times a year. I care for animals with loving trust and thoughtfulness, listening to animal cues as to how they are feeling. I am considerate of the environment around me.

“Mindy is incredible!! She is reliable, kind, patient, and so much more. She loves our dog and he loves her. Mindy takes our boy on fun adventures and perfectly wears him out. Even our cat who is hesitant to trust people seems to really like her. It is always such a relief to know that our animals are being cared for by someone so incredible while we are away.”

About: I have been caring for pets since I was 8 years old. From then to now I have done overnights, dog walks, and even potty breaks. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to keep their pets company, take them on walks/get them outside, feed them on a consistent schedule, be available for potty breaks, stay over night, and bathe when needed. I love being a helping hand just as much as I love the furry companions! I just got back from a long trip away and I am not working. Allowing me full time to take care of and attend to your pets. I will follow any and all instructions given on how to care for your pets. For example, having them in leash when letting them into the backyard, putting them in the crate when needed, keeping food high out of reach, etc.

“Alexis was great! On time for regular walks and my dog seemed to really enjoy the walks. Alexis is also an amazing communicator and I really appreciated the walk notes while I was out of town”

About: I have been caring for dogs for over 40 years. I will spend all of my time with your dog, hiking, swimming, playing in the snow and cuddling. Your dog will be my only priority. I am available to take care of all of your dogs with each scheduled visit. I will always ask if it is ok to also care for another dog along with yours. I am interested in boarding your dog/ dogs while you enjoy Lake Tahoe. I will be able to spend all of my time with your dog. I will provide a safe and clean environment for your dog. When we hike, swim, play in the snow, they will be on a leash. I will always be very careful with your dog.

About: Dogs are better than humans and the more we aspire to be like them the better the world gets. I love dogs and have always been an active member of my local humane society and have volunteered with non profits in several 3rd world countries for animal welfare. I am active and move around often so have not been able to have my own fur baby yet so I would be so grateful and honoured to be the best ‘ fun aunt’ to yours. I enjoy time outside as much as a dog does so I’ll be able to return your pup well exercised and ready to relax after a good hike and some fresh air and belly rubs. I work in restaurants so am free every day until 3 and finish around 10pm. I would be able to take your dog out for regular runs or walks as well as house sitting in the safety and comfort of their own home. I live in a studio apartment with great access to trails and an unfenced yard. Dog sitting at my house would be totally possible for the right dog that would be comfortable with a smaller space.

About: Growing up , I always loved caring for friends/families pets. In 2017 , my life changed when I got my first dog of my own, Sky the mini Aussie. Sky inspired me to start my own business , Mindful Pets, that I successfully operated from 2019-2024. I offered a range of services, from private walks , pack adventures, and in home pet sitting. In the 5 years of running my own pet care business, I loved weaving in my mindfulness practices, and invested in continued pet care education ; certified professional pet sitter with PSI , Pack Leader Blueprint , and Pet CPR / First Aid certified. You can rely on consistency in the care that I provide your pets , always ensuring their safety , well being, and having fun exploring new hiking trails or snuggling on the couch. Book your visit with me and guarantee a peace of mind your pets will be cared for by a professional. My schedule is completely open for pet care, depending on your pets needs / schedule , will determine the level of care I offer. I love taking pups out for fun adventures or caring for your feline pets in the comfort of their home. To minimize your pets stress , you can expect me to stay in your home. This helps keep your pets on their normal routine and environment and ensure they're happy and comfortable while the family is away.

About: I have watched dogs since I was young, both at my house and at the owners house. I have watched up to 6 dogs at a time 😅 but prefer to keep it to 2-3 total. I have a dog of my own, a long hair-dachshund, that loves to play with all dogs. I make sure the dogs I watch get to play outside each day as I know how important it is for their health and happiness. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I often watch dogs at my house but can drive to check on dogs if it’s nearby. Most weekends I’m outside either hiking or playing the snow and love to take the dogs with me. I have a fenced yard and a dog door for access to the upper deck. During the day I often take a morning walk and evening walk in my backyard ranging from 30 minutes to an hour depending on my work schedule that day. I have tons of dog toys and treats that keep the dogs occupied.

Gabriela V.
“There is no other person I would trust more with my dogs/pets than Gabi. Not only has she watched my dog multiple times, but I have also had the pleasure of seeing her work and train her own and others, as well as give gold star care. She is thorough and thoughtful and also has an eye for details. I was never concerned that Petrie wasn’t getting attention as she communicated consistently with updates, as well as noting any concerns that arose. She also has a knack for nervous or shy dogs, and really enjoys giving them a soothing and peaceful experience. I have heard Gabi say multiple times that, “there’s no such thing as a bad dog. They just need someone to speak their language.” If you want your mind to be at ease that your dog will be happy, given medications appropriately, and will have the best walk of their lives, I assure you’re making a great decision choosing Gabi.”

Adam & Lauren G.
“Leaving my dog, Nugget, in someone else's care is never easy—but Adam made it feel completely natural. From our first meeting, I could tell he truly gets dogs. Nugget warmed up right away, which is rare for him, and that gave me so much peace of mind. While I was away, I received the sweetest updates—photos of Nugget lounging in the sun, playing fetch, and even snuggling up for naps. It was clear he wasn’t just being watched—he was being loved. When I came home, Nugget was happy, calm, and clearly had a great time. I’m so grateful to have found someone I can trust completely. Adam is more than a sitter—he’s part of our extended pack now.”

Theresa A.
“I am happy to post a testimonial for Theresa. She is very reliable for any job, loves animals and animals seem to like her as well. Your company would be lucky to have her employed there. Best”

Alyssa C.
“Alyssa watched my 1 year old lab/ border collie puppy for 2 days, 1 night and did a great job. She walked him twice a day for about an hour each, played with him and stayed over night in my house. I felt very confident leaving my puppy with her and came home to a clean house and a tired pup. It was great!”

Alexis D.

“Alexis was great! On time for regular walks and my dog seemed to really enjoy the walks. Alexis is also an amazing communicator and I really appreciated the walk notes while I was out of town”

Kayla M.
“Kayla is great with dogs. She’s also very outdoorsy and active and can give the 4 legged mammals a good run for their money. Our dog Keanu loves Kayla. To the point he recognizes her car and goes crazy when she arrives to pick him up. Once while out on a walk he saw a car similar to hers and he went crazy thinking it was her. We definitely trust Kayla and she’s SO worth it. I would 10/10 recommend.”

Gina V.

“Gina is the best. Very responsive and flexible to our plans! Would absolutely book again!”

Krystina J.

“Krystina was great with Bacon (my dog)! He is a scared rescue puppy, but she was really calm with him , helped him relax, and gave him some great walks!”

Toni M.

“Toni worked hard with my difficult boy. Very caring and attentive.”

Andrew C D.

“Andrew is great! He was very reliable and showed up at the desired time everyday and sent pictures of the walk. He’s easy to communicate with. Recommend.”

Melanie M.
“Melanie has been a close friend for 20+ years and has been our go-to to watch/sit our animals when the wife and I have to leave town for more than a day. The longest she watched our animals was 3 weeks and strangely, the dogs had better manners when we returned than before we left! She sends pics while we are gone to show our happy fur faces. She also tends to our chickens and outdoor kitty. She’s loved by all! Except Diablo. Indoor cat that’s scared of his shadow lol I would highly recommend Melanie to anyone that loves their animals and just wants them to be as happy as possible when the family is away.”

Jess A.
“Jess is perfect for Rover, with an extensive history working in Vet clinics and owning two dogs herself, I couldn't think of a better fit. Her two dogs are incredibly kind and loving dogs full of personality and love for life. She is a great dog mom, her dogs are just so darn sweet. Jess herself is a laid back, smart, understanding and patient person who could easily adapt to new dogs needs and rhythms. As a Vet tech she has seen and helped many many dogs, more dogs than your average dog lover. I'd highly recommend Jess for all of your dog sitting needs!”
