“Lindsay and Dan are the absolute best. They're kind and patient and always excited to see Spirit--and she's always excited to see them too. Frankly, so am I, they're super fun. I think sometimes Spirit doesn't want to leave because they're so great!”

“Thank you for accommodating us with a short notice appointment. I felt our dog was in good hand with you and I was right! Truly much appreciated. I was spreading your name around our event hopefully they will find you and trust in your care like I did. Cheers,”

About: I grew up with dogs and have cared for them my whole life. My first best friend was a black lab named Daisy. Now I’m a stay-at-home mom to an active 3-year-old boy and a dog mom to my 12-year-old border collie mix, Mocha. I'm home most days, and if I leave it’s usually just for a couple hours. So, your dog will get lots of attention, supervision, and potty breaks! You’ll usually find us outside in our fenced yard or cuddled up on the couch reading books or watching movies. If your dog loves sunbathing, playing fetch, or just being close to people, they’ll fit right in with us. I have experience with active puppies, dogs with separation anxiety, and senior dogs who need a little extra care. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine like feeding, walks, crate training, or anything specific so they feel comfortable and safe while you’re away. Since I’m a stay-at-home mom, I’m home most days of the week. If I have errands to run, I’m usually only gone for a couple of hours in the morning. I keep a close eye on all dogs in my care and make sure they’re always in a safe, comfortable environment. At my home, dogs are supervised and have access to our fenced yard for outside time, along with plenty of indoor space to relax. I’m mindful about introductions and making sure everyone feels comfortable, especially with my dog and toddler around. I pay attention to behavior and body language so I can step in if needed. I follow whatever routine your dog is used to, including feeding, potty breaks, crate use, and any specific instructions. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, relaxed, and at home while they’re here.
About: I worked at a doggie daycare for 2 years and then at an off-leash pack hiking company for 2 more years. I have experience with all different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I like to take a calm and patient approach to get to know each dog as an individual. I understand that some pups need time to warm up, and I always try to stay tuned into their body language and comfort level. My goal is to help your dog feel safe, confident, and happy, not rushed or overwhelmed. I care deeply about building trust and giving them positive experiences. I love to take dogs on long hikes in the mountains, but would also be happy to just chill with someone who wants less activity. I am currently focusing full-time on pet care, so I can be flexible and adjust to your schedule to accommodate whatever you are looking for. I will go by any rules or requests you have for taking care of your pet to make them as comfortable and happy as possible.
“Melanie saved our ski trip to Mammoth. We were traveling with our dog and my wife decided las minute to ski... Melanie was available, kind, and communicative. For those visiting Mammoth Lakes with dogs and like to have dinner or any other commitment where dogs are not allowed I definitely recomend Melanie. Thank you again!”

“Joy took great care of my little pup while I was at the mountain for the day. Her communication was great and she was very accommodative with drop-off and pick-up. Thank you, Joy!”
