“Throughout the time my girls are in her care, I am regularly updated with photos and messages, which puts my anxiety at ease knowing that my dogs are in good hands. The heat is now becoming an issue, but Marie made sure to not over-extend, nor over exhaust my girls, especially my senior lady, making alternative “safe” choices for them while meeting their stimulation needs. Also another note, always very accommodating with my schedule, making drop-ins &/or daycare a seamless experience. Thank you!”

“Excellent service. Zach and his daughter were great with my dog Rex! Great setup with a tall fence and Rex loved playing with their dogs. This was a same day booking and they were able to accommodate us last minute and also the following day. I had only left my dog one day at a kennel his whole life so was nervous and within minutes knew I had made the correct choice with Zach and his home!”

About: I’ve loved dogs my entire life, and now that I’m recently retired, I have the time to give them the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. I treat every dog like part of the family—whether we’re going for a walk, playing fetch, or just relaxing together. With a calm, patient nature and a flexible schedule, I can focus fully on your pet’s needs and routines. You can rest easy knowing they’ll be safe, happy, and loved like one of my own. I am recently retired and am available all of the time. I currently have two small dogs of my own and watching an additional dog would be no trouble at all. If you dog stays with me, they will be treated just like my own pet. I am able to walk them, feed them special diets, or administer oral medication. I am home almost all of the time and can give them the attention they need.
“Brittany was great with Bruno and super communicative throughout the day. She was flexible for a last minute booking and kind and we felt totally comfortable leaving our dog there. Would absolutely book again!”

“Jenna did a great job caring for our anxious senior (15yrs) and our newest rescue (6yrs). We received plenty of update pictures and she was very responsive to any messages. It was a relief to know that they were well taken care of while we were away and we have already booked our next date with her - Thank you again!”
“Catherine and Sean are very accommodating with sudden changes in my schedule. She sends regular updates and pictures about how my puppy is doing. She ensures my pup is mentally and physically stimulated. Weretlucky to use their services!”

About: I’ve basically been surrounded by dogs my entire life, so at this point being around them feels less like work and more like a lifestyle choice I never really got to vote on. I’ve had dogs all my life, and somewhere along the way I became the person people trust when they need a dog sitter. Whether it’s for a weekend, a vacation, or just a long day away, I’m used to stepping in and making sure dogs are safe, cared for, and probably a little spoiled. I also have hands-on experience working in a kennel, which taught me a lot about dog behavior, routines, and the very impressive range of chaos one animal can create before 8 a.m. Working in that environment helped me get comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I learned how to handle nervous dogs, high-energy dogs, stubborn dogs, and the occasional drama queen who acts like going outside in light rain is a personal attack. It also taught me the importance of staying calm, being observant, and keeping a good routine. Because I’ve always had dogs and regularly dog sit, caring for them comes naturally to me. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, giving lots of attention, and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I know that every dog is different. Some want nonstop play and attention, and some just want a cozy spot to nap and someone nearby who understands that they are, in fact, royalty. Overall, dog sitting is something I genuinely enjoy. I love getting to know each dog’s personality, quirks, and little habits. Spending time with dogs never really feels like a chore to me. It’s fun, rewarding, and usually comes with a lot of tail wagging, a little bit of slobber, and at least one moment where I seriously question who is in charge. This is my full time job, so I have plenty of time and attention to give your baby the best care they could possible receive! I have one friendly dog that loves to keep others company. He's been known to snuggle smaller dogs in their beds! I offer tons of park trips and outdoor time while also providing mental enrichment for those lazy pups.
“Sarah was incredibly thorough and made sure that my dog felt comfortable in a new space! Thank you so much for your time and giving Lou Lou an incredibly fun experience.”

About: Hi, I’m Nicole — a lifelong animal lover and self‑proclaimed helicopter dog parent. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am. My babies are in heaven now so I’ve joined rover as a pet sitter. I’ve spent the last decade-plus loving and supporting two very different pups with very different needs. My 16‑year‑old baby boy chihuahua Harley taught me everything about caring for a truly high‑maintenance senior dog. From medications and special feeding routines to extra snuggles, slow walks, and those middle‑of‑the‑night “I need you now” moments — I’ve handled it all with patience, gentleness, and love. I also shared my life with my 11 year old Labrador-baby girl Lexi- who recently passed away from cancer on 5/19. Navigating that journey with her taught me deep compassion, vigilance, and emotional care. I became an expert in monitoring comfort levels, adjusting daily routines, and making every moment count. These experiences shaped the way I care for every dog who comes into my home: with attentiveness, understanding, and the same level of devotion I have given my own. • I treat your dog the way I treat mine — like family. • I am extremely attentive and present. If your pup needs something, I’m there. • Senior dogs and high‑maintenance fur babies are welcome. I get them. • Dogs are absolutely allowed on furniture — cuddles are encouraged here. • We don’t have a fence, but I’m a safety‑first sitter. I leash dogs for every potty break and stay right with them. • Because I work from home, your dog will rarely be left alone. • My home is calm, cozy, and dog friendly. Why I Do This I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone. They’re your heart. Your family. Your little shadow. I’ve been in your shoes many times, I’ve used Rover in the past and my goal is to give you that same peace of mind I always looked for — knowing your pup is safe, loved, and truly understood. On weekdays I go to the gym early in the morning and telework daily in my private office with a comfy dog friendly couch. Sometimes I am home on the weekends and sometimes not so it depends on when you need care. If you’re unsure just message me and I can see if I am free. :) Our non-smoking home is pet friendly and I have a 12 year old daughter who loves animals. I do not have any animals in my home. For potty breaks your pet would be leashed.
About: I have always had pets of all kinds growing up along with much love for all wildlife. Currently I have 4 cats, 2 dogs, 3 fish and many snails, and a lot of plants! My dog growing up became diabetic (also blind) and I provided him supportive care for the remaining 5 years he had (including special meals and insulin shots)! I have rescued several cats and found loving homes after getting them medical care (I always keep in touch). One of my cats was a bottle baby after finding her on the side of the road at only 3 weeks old, she is now almost 2. I also provided supportive care for my two eldest cats (11years) after their major surgeries (perineal urethrostomy and gallbladder removal). I am also in the process of obtaining my wildlife rehabilitation permit for I always seem to be brought animals to care for and I would like to do more for them than just transporting to a rehabilitator! I have a lot of room at my house which includes the finished basement area with separate rooms, a mudroom, a large fenced in backyard, and kennels if needed. I'm willing to travel to you, or care for your animals here! All my animals are friendly (successfully introduced and integrated) but if yours needs some privacy I can absolutely provide it. I'm here to help, I hope it's clear how important your fur babies would be to me! I would love to make whatever it is you need happen. I am currently a stay at home mom with my own fur babies. My day starts at 6AM when I wake up to feed and walk the dogs and check to see if the cats need anything. I would be more than happy to care for your animal(s) here or get out of the house and care for them in their home! I have a large fenced in yard, a finished basement with separate rooms, a separate mudroom, and kennels if needed! My 4 cats and 2 dogs roam the house and would love to make new friends, but if your animals are shy, we have plenty of space to accommodate. All I ask is for a clear set of instructions if caring for your pet in your home and you can expect those instructions to be carried out with love and respect for your animal(s) and property. I am also insured for pet care/housesitting through PCI.

“Holly was able to accommodate my very last minute booking request and I am so thankful! She took Lucy for a few walks throughout the day and I could tell that Lucy was well taken care of. Thank you again, I really appreciate it!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Merriman Valley
My dogs and I were passing through town and I need just a few hours of daycare. Wyatt was really great for never having met my dogs before and taking them on without a meet and greet beforehand. They seemed calm and in good spirits when I picked them up from Wyatt’s place. Thanks so much for giving them some love, Wyatt!
