About: Hi, I’m Nicole — a lifelong animal lover and self‑proclaimed helicopter dog parent. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am. My babies are in heaven now so I’ve joined rover as a pet sitter. I’ve spent the last decade-plus loving and supporting two very different pups with very different needs. My 16‑year‑old baby boy chihuahua Harley taught me everything about caring for a truly high‑maintenance senior dog. From medications and special feeding routines to extra snuggles, slow walks, and those middle‑of‑the‑night “I need you now” moments — I’ve handled it all with patience, gentleness, and love. I also shared my life with my 11 year old Labrador-baby girl Lexi- who recently passed away from cancer on 5/19. Navigating that journey with her taught me deep compassion, vigilance, and emotional care. I became an expert in monitoring comfort levels, adjusting daily routines, and making every moment count. These experiences shaped the way I care for every dog who comes into my home: with attentiveness, understanding, and the same level of devotion I have given my own. • I treat your dog the way I treat mine — like family. • I am extremely attentive and present. If your pup needs something, I’m there. • Senior dogs and high‑maintenance fur babies are welcome. I get them. • Dogs are absolutely allowed on furniture — cuddles are encouraged here. • We don’t have a fence, but I’m a safety‑first sitter. I leash dogs for every potty break and stay right with them. • Because I work from home, your dog will rarely be left alone. • My home is calm, cozy, and dog friendly. Why I Do This I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone. They’re your heart. Your family. Your little shadow. I’ve been in your shoes many times, I’ve used Rover in the past and my goal is to give you that same peace of mind I always looked for — knowing your pup is safe, loved, and truly understood. On weekdays I go to the gym early in the morning and telework daily in my private office with a comfy dog friendly couch. Sometimes I am home on the weekends and sometimes not so it depends on when you need care. If you’re unsure just message me and I can see if I am free. :) Our non-smoking home is pet friendly and I have a 12 year old daughter who loves animals. I do not have any animals in my home. For potty breaks your pet would be leashed.
“Nathan and Jenna were truly amazing. Their attention, love and concern for our baby was wonderful. From daily pics and updates to genuine caring for our little Frenchie and his quirky eating and snoring. The home and yard is set up as a "doggie disney". You can not get better.”

“I cannot put into words how much I appreciate Megan. We were so nervous about leaving Libby for the first time. She put our minds at ease instantly. She did a meet and greet and then sent updates every day that we were gone. I couldn’t be more happy! I felt that Libby was very well taken care of and we will definitely use Megan again. Thank you so much for everything!!!”

About: Hi! My name is Elle and I have been a dog lover for as long as I can remember! I have had dogs my whole life and have a 10-year-old retriever mix, Rory. Rory is staying with my Mom and Dad currently- so our home is pet free! I have dogs of all sizes and all different breeds. I have never had problems with any dogs nor had any issues. I feel that I stand out because I have a natural love for dogs and will love your animal like they are my own. I have taken care of dogs of all ages and am comfortable with all of them. “Our baby Buddy is our family. He's our son. We rarely leave him with anyone, but I need you to know that Sarah did an amazing job. She made us feel comfortable, she communicated with us sent photos, videos of our furry love one. She put our mind at ease. Kept us updated on his activities. Job well done. Sarah is a very kind-hearted person. I would definitely utilize her services again and again.”

“Everything was great, and our little fur baby seemed like they had a great time with no problems at all! We definitely would love to have him stay again if they would love to have him!”

About: I won’t lie and say I’ve professionally taken care of dogs for 15 years—but I’ve taken care of dogs ever since elementary school, in my own household and in others’. I know what to look out for to prevent a dog from getting into trouble. I’ve dealt with just about all kinds of messes. And I can handle any size of dog. My main job is part-time contract work, so there are a lot of monetary and time gaps that need filled. That said, my routine allows a lot of room for pet sitting! Every dog is different, so I take that approach with each pet I look after. I follow owner’s instructions, and if I have any questions I am not afraid to ask for clarification—the dog’s/owner’s needs come first. I love giving dogs the attention they deserve (which is usually a lot), and am great at playing.
“Sauddi was amazing with my two dogs! She sent pictures and videos every day and took them on plenty of walks. Her care was so good, I was worried that they wouldn’t want to come home 😂”

“Dee was great with our cat, friendly and professional. Each day she sent several photos of our cat and described to us how he was doing — which put my husband and me at ease so could enjoy our vacation. “Katie was attentive to our two fur babies! She is our first official pet sitter and we are very pleased! We asked for small extras like getting the mail and watering a couple flower baskets during our vacation…she did that and more! She watered all plants during a heat spell and even brought back our garbage bins! Our normally shy kitty always came over to greet Katie upon her arrival. That made us feel very good! We are appreciative of Katie taking care of our two cats!”

“Augusta was absolutely wonderful while watching our three cats during a recent trip to Nashville. She went above and beyond in every way—cleaning up spilled litter and food without being asked, and taking such great care of our babies. We loved the consistent daily updates with adorable photos and videos that truly put our minds at ease while we were away. Augusta followed every instruction perfectly and made sure each cat was comfortable and cared for. We could tell she genuinely loves animals, and we are so grateful for the kindness and attention she gave to our fur family. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, detail-oriented sitter! She is our new go-to sitter, hands down! ❤️”

“Brianne was great! She was on time, stayed for the time booked, sent pictures, fed and played with Kitty, and was friendly in all correspondence. Will book again.”

Great setup with a tall fence and Rex loved playing with their dogs. This was a same day booking and they were able to accommodate us last minute and also the following day. “So good with Maple's puppy energy, her home is so dog-friendly with an amazing back yard for safe wandering and playing. So grateful my puppy can have a great time with her new friends at Kathy's home while I am working!”

About: My parents bred dogs, so I grew up learning how to guage a dogs personality and adjust to their needs. I am comfortable with the anxious, the high-energy, the easily triggered, the "aggressive breeds", etc. I am confident in administering medication as needed to your animals. I went to school for zoo-keeping. Providing enrichment and taking great care of your animals is something that I take pride in. If you have any other animals I am more than happy to include them in my care- I have experience with them all, almost. I currently work alongside my husband. We are renovating a few homes in the area, therefore I can usually adjust my schedule and am available almost 24/7. I have a reliable Chevy Cruz that is fondly accustomed to dog hair. You will receive updates from me often, but feel free to request additional updates. I am very communicative and quick to respond. You can count on me being observant, responsible and proactive with your animals at all times.
About: I have always had pets of all kinds growing up along with much love for all wildlife. Currently I have 4 cats, 2 dogs, 3 fish and many snails, and a lot of plants! My dog growing up became diabetic (also blind) and I provided him supportive care for the remaining 5 years he had (including special meals and insulin shots)! I have rescued several cats and found loving homes after getting them medical care (I always keep in touch). One of my cats was a bottle baby after finding her on the side of the road at only 3 weeks old, she is now almost 2. I also provided supportive care for my two eldest cats (11years) after their major surgeries (perineal urethrostomy and gallbladder removal). I am also in the process of obtaining my wildlife rehabilitation permit for I always seem to be brought animals to care for and I would like to do more for them than just transporting to a rehabilitator! I have a lot of room at my house which includes the finished basement area with separate rooms, a mudroom, a large fenced in backyard, and kennels if needed. I'm willing to travel to you, or care for your animals here! All my animals are friendly (successfully introduced and integrated) but if yours needs some privacy I can absolutely provide it. I'm here to help, I hope it's clear how important your fur babies would be to me! I would love to make whatever it is you need happen. I am currently a stay at home mom with my own fur babies. My day starts at 6AM when I wake up to feed and walk the dogs and check to see if the cats need anything. I would be more than happy to care for your animal(s) here or get out of the house and care for them in their home! I have a large fenced in yard, a finished basement with separate rooms, a separate mudroom, and kennels if needed! My 4 cats and 2 dogs roam the house and would love to make new friends, but if your animals are shy, we have plenty of space to accommodate. All I ask is for a clear set of instructions if caring for your pet in your home and you can expect those instructions to be carried out with love and respect for your animal(s) and property. I am also insured for pet care/housesitting through PCI.

About: My family has always had animals, and I've always loved taking care of them. Dogs, cats, birds, the whole nine yards. I've been around pure-breds, mutts, strays, elderly animals, young animals, a whole range, and I've always been very close with all of them. The most direct experience I've ever had was helping raise and train my mother's dog Ivan, a big American Bulldog with German Shepherd and Siberian Husky heritage, from near-birth to nine years old. Beyond that, I've helped care for my grandmother's many dogs, including Jasper, who is pictured in my profile picture. I'm currently on summer break between my Junior and Senior year of college, so I have plenty of time to care for animals at most points during the week. I generally like to keep Sundays and Mondays open, but I'm otherwise totally free to work. I'm a fairly relaxed pet owner myself, but I know when animals need to be taken seriously. As someone who helped raise a moderately antisocial 100 lbs. dog once, I know it's not all sunshine and rainbows. That being said, I'm more than loving and compassionate, and will do everything in my power to make sure your animals feel loved and cared for when I'm with them.

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats my whole life and I’ve been taking care of other people’s pets since I was in high school and have experience with cats and dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My goal is to provide dependable care and regular updates so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. I’m a stay at home mom with a husband who works remote so I’m very flexible! This allows me to provide consistent care, frequent potty breaks, walks, and lots of attention throughout the day. Your pet will receive plenty of supervision and companionship while in my care. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow each pet's routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided. I always keep pets supervised, ensure doors and gates are secure, and pay close attention during walks and outdoor time. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.
About: I have 6 years of active dog training and boarding. With over 300 dogs under my belt, I've seen all kinds of temperaments and breeds! I am confident in my dog handling abilities, and have experience with puppies, seniors, and handicapped dogs. I am self employed, so I have plenty of flexibility to accommodate some dog care! Weekends are my favorite days to make appointments. And I have reliable transportation! Respect is paramount. I will do my best to both 1) feel comfortable around your pet (which is important!) and 2) respect your home and belongings.
About: Life long animal lover, I have experience with dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, ducks, fresh water aquariums and hamsters. It delights me to give other pet owners peace of mind while they are away from their furry, feathery or even scaley family members by providing care, companionship and security. I offer customized pricing, message me to select a service level that best suits your needs. Pet care is my main schedule priority, I also work as a wellness counselor part time but generally have a lot flexibility in my schedule as I mainly operate remotely for that and I am happy to work with you and your furbabies schedule needs. I do not currently offer care within my own home due to limited space but I am very happy to care for your pets within your own home or by taking them to a trail or park where they can be their happiest and most comfortable. It's important to me to ensure animals stick to their routines to ensure the least amount of stress while owners are away so the more detailed care instructions provided the better, I'm not afraid to adust my personal schedule to best fit the needs of any pet!
About: I am a caring and dependable dog walker with a genuine love and respect for animals. I currently walk two dogs Tuesday through Friday and have built a strong bond with them. One was shy and barked at me at first, but now happily runs up to greet me—an experience I truly value. I also volunteer at the Humane Society animal shelter, where I help feed cats, clean their cages, and walk dogs. At times, my responsible and gentle 14-year-old son assists me on walks, offering extra attention and care to the dogs. As a tutor and substitute teacher with a flexible schedule and summers off, I’m able to provide consistent, reliable care. My priority is making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. My flexible schedule as a tutor and substitute teacher allows me free time to do pet sitting and dog walking. I tend to walk dogs between 8am to 11am and then do my substitute teaching job between 11:45 to 3:15pm and after that will walk a dog as needed. During the summer time Im free all day for walks and for house sitting. I will make sure to follow any instructions or recommendations from the client concerning the well being of their pet. I typically give the dog daily exercise 4 to 7 times per day. With the owner permission I will take dog to the dog park and keep a watchful eye on the dog at all times there. If I feel another dog is getting aggressive I will immediately remove the dog so nothing escalates.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my entire life (24 years). Growing up with cats and dogs gave me a great foundation for caring for other peoples pets! For the past few years, I have been pet sitting for all kinds of dogs & cats. There is nothing more I love than creating a sense of safety and peace for animals when their humans are gone. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur-babies! I am currently a substitute teacher! Monday-Friday: I am at school from 7:20am-3:00pm Weekend: Open availability Summer opens my schedule up quite a bit! When caring for pets in your home, I am extremely careful to follow all instructions left by you for your animals care. My number one priority is to create a space where your pet feels safe while you’re gone.
About: I'm the guy everyone asks to pet sit because I never say no! I'm reliable, attentive, and patient and never met an animal I didn't like. I'm a freelance artist which gives me loads of flexibility when it comes to scheduling. Short notice is fine. Life throws curve balls sometimes, and I'm here to help. I abide by the golden rule, and treat all animals as if they were my own family. I pay attention to details and follow all specific instructions for our special friends!

“Kristen was amazing with our Koko. She was always updating us on her day. She liked being there so much that she did not have her usual excitement upon seeing us. I'm so glad we found her and we will definitely be using her when we need to be away. She also got along really well with Kristen's fur babies.”

“Sydney and her boyfriend completely spoiled my dog with attention during his stay! I loved receiving all of the pictures and updates, he looked like he was right at home with them. We are so glad we found her and are looking forward to using her again in the future!”

“Keith & Rebecca took great care of my pup who has been very anxious/stressed in other boarding situations. He came home relaxed and at ease. Will book again in the future!”

“It was the first time that we used Rover and we had a great experience with Peter. He kept us up to date how things were going and did send photos. We are very pleased and consider him for future bookings.”

“I felt Savanna took good care of Felipe. He loves everyone and he is a good dog and that showed when he was with Savanna and her family. Yes I would have him stay with her again. He was taken in his morning walks and they shared videos. Nice home and family. Thank you guys”

“I love my puppy like a kid and Freddy was happy to see me when we picked him up and cried when we left . I will be happy to have Isabel watch Freddy anytime she is open. She sent us pictures and updates I felt comfortable leaving Freddy with with her .. the down side ? I think Freddy wanted to stay there !!”

“Jason gave us so much peace of mind while we were away for the weekend! Regular updates and photos of our dog and was super flexible when our pickup time was changed. I was so happy when I read that he volunteers at his local animal shelter because that really shows how much he cares for dogs & that he can handle all types of dogs!”

About: Hi! My name is Dayne, and I’m a 22 year old college football player with a lifelong love for animals. I’ve grown up around pets my entire life, and spending time with them has always been something I genuinely enjoy. Right now I have a German Shepherd and a Beagle, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I actually trained my German Shepherd myself from the time he was a puppy, and seeing him grow into such a well behaved, obedient dog has been incredibly rewarding. That experience taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and understanding how every dog learns a little differently. Being a college athlete has also taught me the importance of being dependable, responsible, and sticking to a routine. Those are qualities I bring with me whenever I’m taking care of someone else’s pet. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, or just keeping your dog company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they’re getting the attention and care they deserve. I also have experience with more than just dogs. I grew up with an Umbrella Cockatoo that’s still part of my family’s life today, so I’m familiar with caring for birds. I also own a Bearded Dragon, which has given me experience caring for reptiles as well. I know leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful because they’re family. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own, make sure they feel safe and comfortable, and always follow your care instructions. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your pet is in good hands. I’m a college football player, so all of my athletic commitments are done in the mornings. I also take all of my classes online, which gives me the rest of the day to fully focus on the dogs in my care. My schedule is very structured, and I’m home the majority of the day outside of morning workouts. My own dogs are properly exercised every single day. We go to the dog park, on long walks, and even hikes when the weather is nice. I make sure they are well run and mentally stimulated so they’re balanced and happy. They are fed twice a day with high quality dog food, and I stay consistent with their health needs. My German Shepherd gets joint supplements, and both my Shepherd and Beagle get salmon oil daily. I take their care seriously, and I would treat your dog the exact same way. Being an athlete, I’m already used to routine, discipline, and responsibility. That carries over into how I care for animals. Your dog won’t just be “watched” they’ll be exercised, cared for, and paid attention to. I live in a 1600 square foot home with plenty of space for dogs to move around comfortably. I have a large dog crate available if your dog is crate trained or needs their own quiet space. I also have two friendly, well socialized dogs who love to play and will keep your dog company. Safety is always my top priority. I’m experienced with large breeds and strong dogs, and I understand proper leash control, structure, and supervision. I keep a clean, organized home and always make sure dogs are monitored, comfortable, and secure. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone, and I don’t take that lightly.

“This was the first time we've parted with our dog overnight and we were worried about how it might go. It was a flawless experience and our furry child returned to us happy and well adjusted. Jean also made our lives very easy. For example, she provided a kennel for the night time portion of Bishop's stay and we did not need to provide our own.”
