Pet care experience
I've lived with dogs and cats my whole life, and I love all animals. I have several years of experience caring for others' animals as well as my own. I also volunteered at the APL for about 4 years. I love interacting with animals, and I'll make sure your pets are happy and well cared for while you're away. Depending on the needs of you and your pet(s), I can provide food, water, treats, bathroom breaks, walks, grooming, bathing, and play time. I'm also available for overnight stays in your home with your pet(s). Please let me know if your pet requires any special care, including medicines or supplements (I have experience with administering medicine to dogs, cats, fish, lizards, and horses). I do also have some limited experience with other exotics such as birds, mice, rats, guinea pigs, snakes, and gerbils and am comfortable interacting with them. I've known Zora for 5 years and she has always been really enthusiastic about dogs. She's really kind to my pets when she sees them and seems to love her animals a lot. I know she's responsible since she cares for all 4 of her pets regularly!
well i know that zora likes dogs a lot — she's the kind of person who wants to pet every dog she sees :) we have walked our dogs together before and she's very responsible and pays close attention to how her dogs are doing when we're out. she always lets them stop to sniff and stuff and never yanks them around on the leash or anything. i think she'd be a great dog sitter cause she loves animals a lot and always wants them to be happy :)

Before meeting your dog, I'd like to know if there are any particular things he/she likes or doesn't like so I can be sure to accommodate them. I'd also like to know a bit about how they behave on a leash (if you're looking for a dog walker) just to be prepared! Additionally, please let me know if there's anything you DON'T want your dog doing (i.e. sitting on furniture, eating grass or chewing sticks when outside). I don't have any breed or age preferences, all dogs are great!
A typical day
I want to do whatever your dog wants to do! Whether that's tug, fetch, or just being petted, I'm up for it. I like to find places to walk with a bit of grass or other fun things for dogs to sniff. I'm willing to walk as fast or slow as your dog wants to go, and take breaks if necessary. I'll also carry some water on walks, especially on hot days!
