Pet care experience
I bring a breadth of animal behavioral knowledge to pet care. My pet care philosophy places emphasis on meeting your pet’s unique needs! That could mean administering medical treatments, going on sniffing-specific runs, providing specific kinds of play, following dietary instructions, or anticipating your pet’s response to certain stimuli. I have veterinary clinical experience and am comfortable caring for puppies older dogs, as well as working with behavioural issues so long as they do not pose risk of injury or danger to me.

I genuinely love spending time with animals and so rest assured that your pet will receive incredible care and affection during our time together. I am great at keeping pets safe and following care instructions, and can identify certain medical issues if they were to arise. I will keep you updated consistently throughout the time your pet spends with me. Depending on the nature of this booking, I may request that I bring another individual with me in order to ensure my own personal safety.

I have experience caring for dogs that exhibit resource guarding (a toy or object is aggressively guarded by the dog, and attempts to extract that object result in violent behavior). For my own safety, I am only comfortable with caring for dogs with special behaviors if I am notified in advance and the extent of the behavior is fully discussed.
A typical day
I am happy to cater to your pet in any way they need. I’m great at identifying stimulating outlets for play, and love to take dogs on walks. If your pet enjoys human affection, I am happy to provide them with cuddles and pets. Your pet’s well-being is my priority and so I am extremely attentive to their feeding and exercise routine. I am also comfortable giving baths and clipping nails (I do not provide the nail clippers). I do not own a car but am happy to use yours to drive your pet places if needed.

I am a college student and so I am available for part-time care such as walks on the weekdays, and both short and long-term care such as pet-sitting and dog walking.
