I love working with pets! To me its not considered a job because I'm doing something that I love and is passionate about. I have 2 dogs of my own a husky and a lab. My husky is very energetic, cuddly and vocal. My lab is more calm, shy and loves to sleep. I got the best of both worlds! I've worked at a shelter as a pet adoptions counselor helping match pets with their furrever homes. I took care of multiple pets by walking them, feeding them, cleaning them and their kennels, observed their behavior along with their health and provided minor medical treatments if needed. Did lots of fun enrichment activities, basic training like sit, stay, lay-down and of course gave lots of love, petting and playing!
